Life is what you bake it. End your evening on a sweet note @thecorkandcraft in Rancho Bernardo with Chef Bryan's decadent desserts. From the rich, caramelized Crème Brûlée Bread Pudding topped with berries, chocolate, and vanilla ice cream, to the velvety Basque Cheesecake and indulgent Butter Toffee Cake finished with vanilla ice cream and a caramel drizzle--every bite is worth savoring. Which dessert are you ordering first?

Visited Cork and Craft with my mama tribe the Saturday before Mother's Day around 7pm and were honestly surprised we were able to snag reservations so easily last minute. The staff was very warm and welcoming, though throughout the evening it definitely felt like they may have been short staffed and stretched a bit thin. Since we were headed to a movie after dinner, we decided to keep things light and share appetizers plus dessert. We tried the Fried Shishito Peppers, Veggie Potstickers, Grilled Broccolini, Rosemary Garlic Fries, Whipped Burrata, Garlic Noodles, Salmon Poke Tacos, and Lamb Chops. Overall, the food was decent but nothing especially memorable. The lamb chops were cooked nicely but could have used more seasoning, and the poke tacos were tasty but tiny -- literally about the size of my pinky for each taco. We were disappointed they had sold out of both the Crème Brûlée Bread Pudding and the Budino, which were the desserts we originally wanted to try. Thankfully, the Butter Toffee Cake completely saved dessert for us -- absolutely delicious and easily the highlight of the meal. Overall, a cute spot with good vibes for a girls night, but the food itself didn't quite live up to the hype for us.

The food needs attention unfortunately. The vegetarian bowl was a complete hodge podge of salt, soy sauce, and mayonnaise. The salmon was overcooked and very under portioned, especially for the price. Same with the braised short rib. Disappointing all around. Ambiance feels like you're eating in someone's garage. Won't be coming back.

One of the best most diverse happy hours in San Diego! I loved the food and I'm a big fan of abnormal brewery and I had no idea they were connected. Anyways I would highly recommend the sushi and $1 wings. Nothing better! I didn't take a photo of the toro roll but the price is incredible and the quality was exceptional. We will be back next time we go to RB.

I have to say I was honestly not sure what to expect, after reading some of the reviews. It seemed they were very mixed. However this place was close to me and we decided to do a weekday lunch and give it a try. First off, parking is plentiful, and the restaurant is pretty spacious. It is in a bit of an odd area, like a business park where I did not expect there to be this restaurant. They have a patio, and the inside seems had 2 separate sections. The restaurant is open and spacious inside, and appears to be able to accommodate pretty large parties. We ordered the craft double double burger with bacon jam, special sauce on brioche and got chips on the side. It was a very good, juicy burger, and i definitely enjoyed it. The side of chips however we're not my favorite and they were a bit overcooked. I tried some of the tots from my friends plate and those were much better, so id recommend those over the chips.

The quick and dirty... 5 star service, 3.5 star food. Pulled up on a quiet Sunday just after opening. Got seated wherever we wanted immediately. Our server Gavin greeted us, took our drink order and gave us food menus. It was brunch time, there were lots of good looking options. Settled on the Corned Beef and Hash plate, Horseradish Crème Fraiche on the side. Food came pretty quick and was piping hot to my liking. Everything was cooked properly and tasted pretty good. I would have liked some additional flavor to the dish as it tasted under seasoned and the corned beef, while moist could have had more flavor. The Horseradish sauce was even pretty tame, potentially to be approachable to more palates. The beers we had were great, a fresh Barrel Aged Stout, a milk stout and a really fresh IPA. Place is definitely worth visiting for the beers alone. The real star of the show was Gavin. Showed us a really great time, spoke to us about the beers and the menus and was very attentive. I'd definitely return to try one of the other menus and some additional beers.

They now have sushi and a new happy hour from 2-5pm that's great! Several different appetizers and everything tasted good! Was hoping for more of a tap beer variety but overall everything was pleased.

It's been years since I've dined here since I don't live in the area so it was good to be back to have dinner. Food was delicious per usual and I tried a new menu item which was the birria dirty fries. It's loaded with braised birria, three cheeses, chipotle aioli, pickled red onions, and an egg on top. The fries are really crispy. Good for sharing! Their sushi rolls are solid - had the pikachu and born & raised rolls. My favorites were the bone-in pork chop, salmon, and our server recommended the butter toffee cake which was a good call. Service was excellent.

Birthday dinner for my cousin on a Saturday night with reservations for a group of 7. My first visit, my family have been here before. We were sat on their patio at wet tables. The host apologize for the tables being wet, but didn't go grab a towel and dry them off. Someone else came over to drop off menus on the wet tables. My aunt ended up dry off the table with her napkin. Our friendly server came over greeted us and took our beer and appetizer orders. Service declined and was nonexistent after that. Glasses, water pitcher, stack of plates and utensils were again dropped off at the end of the table for us to distribute and serve ourselves. I found that rather odd. Beers were served within 10 minutes. Appetizers followed. No serving utensils. It was a drop off and disappear act. We polished off the appetizers, stacked our dirty dishes at the end of the table to be cleared. Waited, waited and waited for our server to come back to take our dinner order. He never returned, so we flagged another server to ask if we could place our order. She gladly took our order. After we placed our dinner order, our server came over confirmed the order was sent to the kitchen and apologized for the wait. We requested more water, he refilled the pitcher and plopped it at the end of the table. Our meals came out pretty quickly so at least the kitchen was on top of it! Food, beers and music were good, service was subpar. My cousins said this unlike them, so maybe they were short staffed. What really rubbed me the wrong way was the automatic 20% gratuity charge for large groups. I have no qualms about it if service was attentive and great. I found it offensive having to pay 20% gratuity after having to wipe down the table, pour and refill our own water and distribute plates and utensils, and the long wait to order our meals. I popped into the restroom first, I had a 3 hour to get here. It was a disaster, looked like no one had been in there to check all night. Hoping it was just an off night for them. Food was not good enough to bring me back again.

Met with my girlfriends for lunch. Food was good! My favorites were the garlic noodles and Italian meatballs while my friends liked the dirty fries and Brussel sprouts. The service provided by Samantha was amazing! She took care of us and the food came out quickly. Since I only meet quarterly with my friends, we stayed long at the restaurant to talk and catch up. The servers didn't mind and even kept on refilling our water. There was parking at the front but it's not a huge lot. The ambiance was nice and I'm sure a lot of people go here after work. I'd most certainly come back to this restaurant since it was nice and enjoyable.

Literally my new favorite restaurant!! Everything was so good! I love the vibe of the restaurant. Let me tell you, DO NOT LEAVE until you had that dessert! Oommmggg!! I am literally still dreaming about it! Chef Bryan really out did himself with this menu! The Al pastor octopus was so good!

Cork and Craft is in an unassuming business park by Escondido but the inside is super cute and giving a trendy brewery vibe. The hostess stand is kind of hidden from the rest of the restaurant so it took a while for someone to seat us, but once they did our server was very helpful. We stopped by during their happy hour and the wings were included for $1 a piece. They had salt and pepper wings but we requested buffalo and they accommodated. They were crispy but a little lacking in flavor. The burger was a good size though and the bacon jam on there was great!

We've been to The Cork & Craft a number of times and have consistently had a nice experience as a two-person table, including a recent Restaurant Week 2025 visit. First course was Scallop aguachile -- a standout. The scallop was fresh and tender, sitting in a bright, tangy broth with a little chile warmth and great balance. If this isn't on the regular menu, it should be. Second course was Steak Oscar (5-oz filet mignon with asparagus) -- presentation is simple and the flavor was great. Cooked as ordered and well-seasoned. It was basic but it was classic and satisfying. Dessert was Butter Toffee Cake -- warm, saucy, and fairly delicious. Also, inside is warm and inviting and the craft beers always deliver I've noticed some other mixed reviews online, and maybe larger parties see different dynamics, but our experiences have been consistently smooth. Solid date-night pick with a fun Restaurant Week lineup to boot was nice. Would happily return.

We hosted a wine tasting and bites event here for our alumni group and it ended up being one of our favorite events we've done. The salad, veggie plate, and french fries were all amazing and they also have gluten free flatbreads that were incredible. Every time food came out, they made sure to call out any dietary notes, which we really appreciated. We ordered Calabrese Pizza, Apple & Gorgonzola Pizza, Parmesan Fries, and Rigatoni & Vodka Sauce Pasta. My goodness, everything was GOOD! The Apple & Gorgonzola Pizza was my favorite, pure perfection of flavors. I know there's always a debate with pineapple on pizza but this apple and gorgonzola makes sense, I don't think anyone would ever question it. The parmesan fries was so yummy as well, you get a HEFTY amount. We actually didn't finish a good amount and took this home along with a few slices of pizza. Pasta was delicious as well, there was leftover pasta sauce that we just scooped up with the crust of the pizza. The ambience - amazing and beautiful. It is pretty spread out. Also, you can get free chocolate to pair with your wine at the dessert shop. Delicious, everything I ordered was what I needed. Everyone here just seems incredibly nice. From the people who took your order at the Kitchen, food runners, pourers, even the lady at the dessert shop (even though we didn't get any dessert lol) was friendly. We wanted to get dessert, but we had 15 minutes left till closing, however she didn't rush us out the outside area. I saw that there was a sugar free pistachio gelato flavor. I love that, seems like it was a hit because it was nearly all out! Next time I do go, I definitely want to try that and their cannolis!!! I love Cannolis. Anyways, back to the wine tasting, I believe her name is Cecilia (?), She was great. Great service along with the other pourer at the counter. I did not catch her name but she has blonde short hair and was very nice and friendly as well! Overall, 10/10, & I will be back very soon.

I was excited to surprise him with the fact that we could do Italian again and had hopes it would be good. Good is an understatement...this place is amazing. Ever since that night, it's been our place. We go there about every date night and anniversary. The food is incredible. The gnocchi is pillow soft on the inside with a savory sweetness to it. The butter sauce there comes on it, and the tomatoes and sage are to die for. I can't get enough. The penne is a favorite of ours. We get it about every time we go. The crème sauce with sausage is a mix of delectable and spice. The pasta is always cooked to perfection, which is huge for me because I'm not a pasta fan usually, but theirs I could eat all day. Not to mention the bread and its companion that seems like you can never get enough of. It has a nice sweetness to it that you just want more of. The environment is so pretty and romantic. The lighting they have is dim but bright enough to see what you need to see. It's calming. The owner and staff are amazing. The owner is always there to greet you, or has been every time we're there. She's so friendly. The staff is attentive and knowledgeable, which is huge for someone with allergies. I can't say enough good about this place! If you want an incredible Italian date night, then this is it!

Ambiance/Cleanliness-Extremely well rendered wine bar vibes allow you to forget you are in a dumpy SoCal strip mall and feel like you are in a European bistro. Very clean. 4 stars Service-Could not have been better. We were told only patio dining was available, but when we arrived, we were seated at a comfortable table. Service was attentive, helpful and warm. 5 stars Food-excellent. We had calamari as a starter. Not fishy... savory, bold flavors. Not over cooked. I had chicken Cordon Bleu and it was delicious, if not particularly attractive visually. 4 stars.

The wines are exceptional, the staff is incredibly knowledgeable and welcoming, and the atmosphere is genuinely family-friendly. The property itself is absolutely stunning, making it the perfect place to spend an afternoon. I also love that they have a café, a pizza vendor, and live music, all of which elevate the overall experience and create a relaxed, inviting atmosphere. One of my favorite wines is the La Dame Blanche, a beautiful Grenache Blanc with notes of citrus, white peach, and toasted almonds. It's crisp, refreshing, and incredibly well-balanced. Domaine Artefact has quickly become one of my go-to wineries. Whether you're a seasoned wine enthusiast or just looking for a beautiful place to unwind with friends and family, I highly recommend paying them a visit.

We watched Under the Tuscan Sun and it gave us all the feels. We will definitely be back to do a proper tasting and check out the estate and cafe once it's fully open. Pro-Tip: They have a pizza vendor on site, but they ran out by the time we got there at 6:00 PM. Definitely get there earlier and order sooner rather than later!
