We went to Golf Mart and purchased a bag for our son. When we got home we noticed the manufactures price tag on the bag was $20 less than Golf Marts "sale price", that we paid. Went back to the store and they would not honor the price obvious on the bag. Tried to shop local but wouldn't go there again. Also, the customer service is terrible. Not one person came over while we were looking at bags. The salespeople are only there to ring up at the registers. read more

I initially went to Golf Galaxy to buy a Ping or Taylormade 3-Wood but walked out empty handed because I couldn't get help even though the place had minimal customers! I was so happy to walk into Golf Mart and having Ramon being extremely helpful & friendly. Was in there half hour and walked out happy with a Ping 3-Wood and some golf tops. Today they replaced a Titleist driver tip for free and it's not the first time they've done something like that. Professional yet down to earth people. My boyfriend and I have come to Golf Mart a handful of times within the last few months. The staff is always super friendly and helpful when we have questions (which is about every time we visit =]). Along with an extensive selection of apparel, golf balls and other equipment, there is a great selection of both used and new clubs. The boy has found some great used clubs that have quickly become staples in his golf bag and we often see they have different sales running every time we visit. We find ourselves coming here more often than other stores like Sports Authority, Dick's or Golf Smith, because of the pleasant customer service and great selection of items! read more

This store used to be awesome. They had a tech, Jason, who left to work for Callaway. Then the store manager, Mark, left to become a teaching pro and fitter himself. Once those guys left....the store became the same as any other. A bunch of kids that are well intentioned but don't really know much about fitting or repairs. Still a decent shop...but if I need service or repair, I'll make the trek to Kepler's. Those guys are awesome. read more

Brandon was great!!! We went in for the first time looking for golf clubs for my husband. Not knowing what to expect Brandon offered help and recommended the golf simulator to see what his swing looked like. What a great tool. Brandon was very patient, no snobby attitude, no high pressure sales pitch, just very knowledgeable answering all our questions and offering great tips and tricks. The end result was positive and we had a good time. Husband needed a new pair of golf pants for a tournament he was golfing in on Monday. We went to Golf Mart Saturday and found a nice pair. The store was ok. Not very many options of pants in his size. Lots of big sizes (are golfers mostly heavy?) No one in the store asked if we needed help which was fine, just saying. The most irritating thing and the reason for the 3 stars is when he went to iron the pants on Sunday for the Monday tournament the security tag was left on the pants making it so he could not wear them. The tournament is early tomorrow and they do not open until 0900. They close at 5pm on Sunday and were not answering the phone after 5 so going there to have it removed tonight was not an option. Complete bummer that something so small can really mess things up. They weren't busy, they were chatting at the registers with each other so this just leaves a sour taste when it comes to Golf Mart. When you sell $100 pants I am assuming you know that they have a security tag on them and should check. Very dissapointing. read more

On 1/2/21, I brought in my driver with a broken shaft. The 2 guys behind the repair counter was not able to give me an estimate for a new comparable shaft and how long it would take to fix. So I decided not to fix my broken driver and look for a new Callaway Mavrik driver. There was one tech helping this one customer for over an hour and there were other customers who needed assistance but did not get the help needed including me. I ended up walking out of the store and drove to Dick's instead to give them my business . The young men working at Golfmart were polite but they don't know how to provide quality customer service. read more

Nice store - good selection, huge inventory, etc. I find some of the reviews below to be ridiculously funny - like the guy who claims that the new drivers are mixed in with the used ones. Huh?? If you have ever worked in retail or with the general public you will understand. All I can say is - some people are, shall we say - "shopperly challenged". Go judge for yourself. I was in need of a new putter grip so I called ahead and was pleasantly surprised to hear that it could be done the same day - while I waited. I went in later in the day and was immediately greeted by Carlo, who recognized my voice as the one who called earlier, and he went right to work on my putter. He was extremely friendly and helpful right off the bat and did great, and very quick job taking care of my putter. Went here with my cousin on a football Sunday around lunchtime and was there was maybe one shopper in the store, so that didn't surprise me. We greeted right when we entered which a plus. My cousin is making a small bean shaped putting green in our backyard project. Employees are very helpful, they told us exactly what we need , don't need. We went to LOWES afterwards and bought everything we needed Here we bought 3 white cup holes to be installed in the ground. The trip was a breeze. One big plus is they had like 5-6 guys working on a Sunday. Thanks guys. We will call you when its done and you guys can come over for some beers and putting. read more

This place is the absolute best golf store in the Bay Area. Tried JPX irons for two months and although they were straighter than my Callaways, I didn't like the feel or the really thick look of the longer irons at address. Brought the irons back to swap under their 90 day 100% credit program. The guys behind the counter very friendly about the exchange and they directed me to a young gentleman by the hitting area. Had a good conversation about my past irons and how I felt about the JPX, he made a couple recommendations, and I settled on a demo set of AP2's. Went and played the AP2's right away (AWESOME) but found a large ding in the wedge. Took it back next day and they apologized for not noticing the ding the day before, assessed that the ding was too large to be repaired, and swapped it out for a new one. They took it upon themselves to try getting a replacement from Titleist (instead of putting that on me). Now that is what I call customer service. I intend to used them for all our golfing needs (we are a family of five golfers). New location is great and I've never felt the need to dress up to get noticed here. Very down to earth place staffed with friendly folks that just seem to all love the game of golf. read more

BUT the reason why i give this place a one star is every time i go in there i feel like i have to be dressed as if i were i rich person to get any kind of help... !!!!!!!HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE"!!!!!! especially the younger guys. Golfmart, Dublin, is not fancy, splashy nor plush. It's more like a neighborhood golf shop. It is casual, comfortable and filled with an incredible inventory. The staff is friendly and helpful without being annoying. Sam has been the manager for many years and they do a nice job for the customer - no overselling, no smoke, no B.S. And, their prices are usually lower than the other big, retail golf chains. They are willing to make deals. You can talk to them. They do have a small hitting cage to try clubs out to see how they feel while hitting a real golf ball. They also have used clubs for sale and on new clubs, they offer a 90 day return policy. You won't get a full refund but you can trade it in at the full price you paid for it for something else. If you want a fancy place with a lot of bells and whistles, to to Golfsmith, Pleasanton. I am a big fan of this location. I have often stopped by this location and the South City location with occasional visits to the Marin and Walnut store but find that from a service perspective that this store is superior vs. the other locations from a service perspective. Now Marin has coffee in K Cups which is nice and SSF has a bigger foot print/nice hitting bays w/ foresight LMs but I've always found that the staff at Dublin has often gone out of the way to make for a great shopping experience. With the GG Store now closed in Pleasanton (which wasn't a great store except for their hitting bays) and moved to a dismal location within their big box parent sporting good store the Golf Mart is the place to go in the Tri Valley area. read more

Been here twice with co-workers during the lunch hour. They're looking for putters, gloves, balls (pause), etc. Me, I'm just walking around looking at equipment for another sport I should not pick up. They have a place to hit drivers in the back, and small artificial putting green in the middle of the store. They have new clubs as well as used clubs. They have golf shoes (new styles), and discontinued styles that are discounted. The store name is a true definition of what they sell...unlike SportsMart, which does not sell Sport...but rather equipment and apparel for different sports. Service was semi-friendly, but I think they were worried we might steal something, rather than genuinely interested in helping us find what we needed. read more

I live directly across the street from the Dublin location and have been coming to this store since I was a young kid and greatly appreciate what they offer. They have solid prices and different price ranges for everyone. If you want a brand new top of the line set of titleist irons, they've got it. My son wanted golf clubs for his birthday so we went to Golf Mart for a fitting. That went well, but when he returned to buy the clubs we had an issue. We went three times and were not able to get any help each time we went. Today was the third time and when I called the manager after we left he said the person that greeted my son "went to the bathroom." We are an African American family and feel that we were profiled by Golf Mart. I am disappointed and frustrated. We will find another place to buy the clubs but this is the unfortunate reality of African Americans. read more

Bought a new push cart there 2 months ago. Finally got around to using it and was totally dissatisfied. They took it back, allowed me to exchange for another, no questions asked. They have a 90 day return/exchange policy that's great! This is customer service! It's a long drive for me to get to Dublin, but I am now a devoted customer. Not impressed at all. The club section is a big mess. All the new drivers are mixed with used drivers. I looked around a while and not a single person offered help. The woman behind the counter didn't seem to be happy to be working there. The 90 day satisfaction guarantee is great but doesn't look like the store is managed very well. read more

We took my father in to get new clubs and we were unsure if he needed new clubs or not. He was shown multiple different Irons with different shafts and we were shocked to see how much of a difference there was. The fitter put him in some Mizuno Irons and it was even better he said that all the options were at no additional cost. My father finally got them delivered and he absolutely loves them!
