I went to the Good Feet Store today because I tore a ligament in my big toe on March 11th, and my foot doctor suggested I see if I could find an orthotic that might help. We had a great experience! Brandon was very helpful, knowledgeable, and professional. He took the time to answer all of our questions and was never pushy at all. I stopped in to get a check-up on my Good Feet Orthotics. I was immediately greeted by Shane. Shane gave me the best Customer Service that I have received in a very long time. I got the full complete treatment, including complete measurements and fittings. My old Orthotics were replaced with new ones, free of charge, and felt great. Paid over $1700 for shoes that were too small, compression socks I cannot use, and various supports. Returned shoes and got larger size - still too tight because of bunions and extremely heavy. Tried to wear them and my hips hurt and the pain on the bunion was unbearable. Donated everything to charity. Do not go there! Go see your foot dr. instead. His arch supports will be of better quality and probably much less expensive. Do not cater to the senior citizen. read more

For the past year I have only been able to stand on my feet for 2 to 3 hours a day. I have neuropathy due to diabetics and planters fasciitis . When I went to Good Feet, the gentleman spent quit a bit of time on me before telling the price and I'm so glad he did, because I'm sure I would have not had purchased had I know the cost. I have to say that I couldn't be more happy. I get up in the morning and can actually put my feet on the floor without pain ! I am very disappointed in this store. My eldery mother is having trouble with her knee, so I thought the Good Feet store could help. We felt the sales people were nice, at the time of sale. The price for a piece of plastic is $500.00 the foam was $50.00 and the shoes were $150.00, Amazon has the same shoes for $110.00. Anyhow we were good with the money and I wanted to make a difference for her. This is a scam. The insert are so painful she cannot wear them. We were in the store 2x's and they said they would call and follow up. No call or follow up. They said they would not offer refunds. Take your money and go to a podiatrist, it will be cheaper and you will have better results. I am now trying inserts I ordered off Amazon. My mom is in tears when I talk to her about it. I was almost ready to spend ~900 dollars on some new orthotics until the salesman tried to use an old but sneaky sales trick on me. I said I only wanted 2 pairs, I didn't want the sit and relax pair. So trying to convince me to get the third pair he had me stand up and pushed on my hands to show my balance with and without the orthotics. But when he shows you that you're off balance, he pulls forward a bit on your hands while he pushes them down causing you to step forward. From the moment I walked into the Gilbert Location I was simultaneously greeted by two of the most welcoming and cheerful individuals you'll ever have the pleasure of meeting. ALEXA ( Store Manager) and MATTHEW (Leading Associate of that location) are the pure embodiment of what good and sincere customer service representation should look like. Don't let their young faces fool you by any means... On the contrary, these two were TWICE AS KNOWLEDGEABLE than any other foot specialist or podiatrist I've come across throughout 20 plus years of trying to find a solution for my chronic foot, knee, and lower back pain. Within an hour this young man and woman accomplished for me what two decades of so called "specialists" couldn't... A huge part of this is obviously due to the product itself. The reason I took three months to write this review is due to the fact Matthew and Alexa both told me this is around the time you really start feeling the fruits of your labor through the three step system solution they provide... I certainly can attest to what they said 100% !!! My foot pain was all but gone about 4 weeks into the process, my knees began to really start improving once I felt the improvements in my feet, now after month three the difference in my back is without a doubt life changing for me. The product absolutely works and I love the fact its made right here at home in the United States. The product is worth the money in itsel. But the service that Alexa and Matthew provided me, alongside the amount of questions they were able to answer clearly and thoroughly are without a doubt what made this purchasing decision very very easy for me. I left that store feeling better physically than I have in years and I left that store feeling more mentally reassured than I've felt in years. Its obvious these two enjoy what they do, and its obvious they have fun doing it together in the process. Which makes it enjoyable for us clients as well. I came in on a busy day and it was easy to see all of the clients they were servicing that day not just myself, were clearly very happy and satisfied with serious Alexa and Matthew provide. If you're having any foot, back, leg, or knee issues I highly recommend giving this product and their employees a chance! I use arch support insoles, which is getting rare and expensive to find. I thought Good Feet would be perfect. Was I wrong, I now have pain and can barely stand on my right foot. First of all, this store is listed under "podiatrists." They are NOT medically licensed, nor do they have any Podiatrists on site (they even give you a form to read and sign that you understand this). Second, the customer service I experienced WAS top notch. That is why I put the 2-star rating instead of one. Lastly, however, the entire "free evaluation" of your feet and what types of supports are needed were all just a huge sales pitch-- I felt like I was in one of those time-share pitches except I wasn't being bored to death since the sales lady was very personable and not pushy. I made the mistake of not reading reviews before coming here. The main consensus is that these are $1000 for the whole set and return policy is crap. So, as soon as I told them there's no way I could afford that, then it wasn't really about helping my feet get better, but that I just needed to buy SOMETHING. Or better yet, there's financing, oh boy! At $90/mo. Seriously? I get it, it's a business to make money, duh! But if you don't have the funds, go elsewhere--actually, GO to an actual Podiatrist. I suspect the owner will respond to this review in typical fashion "we're sorry you were unhappy with the price, etc, blah blah blah" but there is nothing they will say that would change my mind. I told the sales person that had I known what the cost was before, say, from their website, I would not have come and wasted almost 2 hours. If this company wants to have only good reviews, be more transparent! And from other reviews I've read, apparently the return policy sucks and there's no refunds. Maybe lower the cost of HARD orthotics that may or may not help foot problems. Very shady. As I write this, my feet are sore now from just walking around just a little bit yesterday. (They'll claim it's bc your feet digress quickly. Whatever.) The problem with these hard orthotics is that I learned (with more research) that they actually can cause bone spurs because while they may provide support, they do NOT provide cushion regardless of the cushion insoles this place sells you. Our feet need both. So in the end, I suggest doing a more thorough investigation of places like these before going in and quite possibly getting evaluated by a real medical professional. read more

I must admit these inserts are beginning to really work for me. I've had planters fasciitis for over 10 year and during that time I have gone to a podiatrist who took mold of my feet and fitted me with what I thought was going to help. Well that was a ongoing battle for 10 years. My shoe size is a EE2 men's because of my wide feet. I went in with extreme heal pain where I could hardly walk. I was fitted with one insert but it didn't seem to help so she gave me a different one and it was like night and day. Believe me I walked out with those (paid of course). I was so happy. They did give me discomfort off and on but it was my getting used to them the first week. I later bought the size shoes I needed and also was a excellent choice and it gave my wide feet relief. Now getting up from sitting and walking to and fro isn't painful and I actually feel my hip and back pain has gone away. The only con I find with this is the price of the inserts as starting at $400 with a exchange after six months. Also the lifetime insurance to keep exchanging when and if they start to bow to much. I purchased one of the orthotic support systems and really like it. It seems to have helped my back. However, upon going into the Gilbert AZ location I would not recommend this store due to the experience I just had with the 2 woman employees there. They were rude and simply do not knowing how to build rapport with those who just walk in. As I was leaving the store one of the women started laughing at me as I was asking for the manager, who was not there today. I told them both that if I had come in before I bought mine I would turn around and leave like I did. As customers we do not need to put up with the attitude some people have when buying from them. I was happy with my service and purchase. The young lady who helped me suggested that I try a neutral shoe as opposed to one that offered arch support, because I have high enough arches and arch support would push my feet further to the sides. I had never heard such advice after going to numerous pediatrists and shoe stores like the Walking Company. So I bought a pair of neutral Brooks Glycerins and can't believe how awesome they are. My feet ALWAYS hurt in all shoes, but I wear these and I can walk for hours. I will be back knowing that this IS a shoe store and not a substitute for a foot doctor, which is ok with me. read more

Due to an injury 15 yrs ago my ability to walk has continued to deteriorate even under doctors care and physical therapy, different shoes, braces, supports etc. I thought I was heading for life in a wheelchair because of my pain levels when attempting to walk. I could only take a few steps around the house and then come to a full stop for the day. I'm in my mid 50's, otherwise healthy, not obese. I purchased the orthotics at Good Feet only 4 days ago and I'm amazed at my progress. I'm up and moving, sleeping through the night and my legs are sore from all the baby muscles coming back these last few days. My feet feel great. I have a friend who is a PT who accompanied me to the Good Feet store because I wanted to be sure the information they gave me wasn't just a slick sales pitch since I haven't had much success in the past with orthotics from doctors. The orthotics from Good Feet are absolutely working. You have to start slow, follow the instructions. Worth the expense for me because I don't want to be in a wheelchair. This is life changing. I will update this post in a few months with progress, good or bad. Also bought a pair of Brooks sneakers, which to some might be expensive, but I have tried so many other shoes that cost more and didn't work these were worth a try. I'm wearing the Brooks and my Traq brand shoes. Used HSA for orthotics cost. So far so good. read more

Truthfully, a ZERO would be more appropriate!!! I stopped in to ask a few questions about shoes, orthotics and how it works at that store. The employee was too busy looking at a computer to give me any attention. It made me feel like they could care less about making a sale, helping a client or much else for that matter. When you have pain, you are willing to spend whatever is needed to feel better. The employee was rude and condescending. In this type of business, a little empathy would go a long way. He made no attempt to help or make a recommendation in anyway. I made it very clear that I was interested in shoes and orthotics and he made no attempt to move forward. He didn't even say a word as I left. I would much rather give my business to a business that cares and is willing to help when a customer is new and needs questions answered. I wish I had gone sooner. Have been suffering with foot pain for years even though I was going to a reputable Podiatrist, and wearing his orthotics. Many issues with my feet including arthritis & metatarsal pain, I went to the Good Feet Store on a recommendation from a friend. I walked in limping & walked out pain free. Matt was great, he took all my information then did an image of my footprint & fitted me with orthotics, and when I first felt them I thought oh these are going to hurt. Then I stood up & I was shocked, I was pain free. Matt even took me outside to walk up & down the sidewalk to ensure I was okay & we did this with all three orthotics. When I left the store I went to Costco & walked the whole store, stood in very long lines & I was not in any pain. Best money I have spent in a long time. I have waited for a year before writing this review. Last year I limped (literally) into the Gilbert Arizona store and met Bonnie the manager. I told her about how bad my feet and ankles hurt, she went through her procedure and told me too try on the shoes with the orthotic inserts. I wondered how much they cost and she let me know, after regaining my composure I thought well that won't work, she said "just put the shoes on and go for a walk, it will feel like you have golf balls in your shoes" I said okay but I was sure they wouldn't work. I put the shoes and inserts on and stood up, before I reached the door (about 20 feet) the pain in my feet and ankles was gone. I walked around the block came back in the store and bought everything Bonnie told me to. I have been pain free for a year and I am golfing again as well as walking almost every day. Wish I would have read the other reviews before I went here. We arrived right at 11:00 but the door was still locked. It took a few minutes for the one person working to open the door. He asked me if I needed help and I told him I was looking for a pair of shoes to help alleviate my plantar fasciitis and that I already had orthotics from my podiatrist. He barely looked at me and pointed to the wall of a limited selection of shoes. I asked about a few pair and he brought me a completely different pair to try on, stating that the one I wanted was not in stock but if I liked this model, he could order the other. Well, fine. So I tried them on and holy heck my feet felt better, except the shoelaces felt cheap, like they might snap at any second. The other one I liked had much better laces. But, I was desperate for a new pair of shoes, especially with the condition of my feet. I asked if I could wear them out, the clerk responded, "as long as you pay for them, I don't care what you do." Nice. So I pay for them and they ring up at almost $200! The tiny tag on the inside said $95.00. He asked me to show him where I saw that. Apparently, I what I saw was the $0.95 of $174.95! Sure, it's a lot more than what I wanted to pay for a pair of shoes and I think I'd have felt better about buying them if the cashier was a little more helpful and I felt like it was worth my time and money. Bottom line--the store would have gotten a better review if: 1. they had a larger selection of shoes, better price labeling, and much better customer service. I gave them two stars because I do like the shoes but I am having some serious buyer's remorse and based on other reviews, it doesn't sound like their return policy is very flexible and I'm likely stuck with them. read more

Note: at the bottom of this "review" is an important update well worth knowing about if you also ever encounter problems along these lines. Please take a moment to read this review of "The Good Feet (Store)" hopefully you'll learn something from my mistakes. According to someone (Customer Service representative) who works in this area and visits all sites often, The Good Feet Store is not a typical retail store but more in lines with providing services to address medical issues obviously for the foot. I cannot remember the exact phrase/description of how "Medical" was used. Let me begin by indicating that The Good Feet Store will provide you with a product that will hopefully address any foot issue. As far as I can tell they've been in this business for many years and have and will continue to help you address you foot issue. With that said, my mistake (there are many) was that I didn't investigate before going to them alternative less costly treatments for Plantar Fasciitis. I ended up finding a product (at Walgreens - $14) that thus far is eliminating my foot pain that I believe is Plantar Fasciitis. You may not be as lucky as I was and may need to seek a better solution. Also it is very important to note that in addition to your daily walking support you should consider purchasing (got mine from Amazon) a Night Brace (within Amazon search for "Plantar Fasciitis Night Brace") or something very similar to those keywords. My brace (boot like) only costs around $25 and completely eliminated my morning pain in my heel after an overnight sleep period. Here's what you need to know about this establishment. The store manager there was very helpful and did the ink blot test on my foot to find arch support(s) that would improve/heal (pardon the pun) my foot issue. She suggested three types of arch supports and gave us prices for each. There was the "Strengthener", the "Maintainer", and something simple to wear in sandals. All were optional. In my case the first arch support was listed as costing around $350, and the second costing around $290. Now here's where we're having an issue with our purchase. Like all good consumers should do, we asked the obvious question, "what is the return policy for your store in case these don't work out". The verbal reply was that there is a 12% restocking charge. The actual term should be 12% service charge. At the time of purchase I was ok with spending that much on these products because I felt that I could get a refund minus the 12%. I attempted to return the product two weeks later. After being informed that I couldn't get a refund (minus 12%) did I look closer at the paperwork given and see "In Store Credit". Trust me when I say that if understood that this was the case and it was only a In Store Credit I would not have spent that amount of money (over $900) and looked elsewhere's. I'm thankful that my wife was with me and also agrees that at the time of purchase the phrase "In Store Credit" was not said. Also it's very important to note that at the time of checking out the store manager placed into our shopping bag 3 foot pads to be used with the arch supports purchased. The way those items were "given" to us I assumed that they were free. However those pads totaled over $134. Even though they were never used they are nonrefundable because I was told that it's like trying to return underwear. We disagree with that. Here's another odd observation. We were told that we had a life time warranty for coming back into the store for "adjustments" to find that perfect fit to improve my foot problem. Once the transaction is completed and no full refunds there's this implied warranty of working with the "patient". So why the additional charge of almost $100 for this service? From where we sit it appears to us that the store manager was doing everything to increase their sales and was misleading. We're ok with giving them 12%. We feel that it's sad that we being unsatisfied customers are being treated this way. We're doing everything in our power to get our money back however we're being turned down with our request. We have major concerns with The Good Feet Store business practice and we remain hopeful that they'll work with us and not against us. My two cents worth is simply this: The Good Feet Store should modify their return policy to be as follows. Allow returns for up to 90 days (minus their 12% restocking fee). After that period of time then do the "In Store Credit". So buyer beware. Contacted the Corporate Headquarters for The Good Feet Store located in California and they contacted the owner of this store and had management refund us our money (minus 12% restocking). read more

I purchased my pair of Good Feet orthotics (inserts) in the Spring of 2015 in the Tempe AZ Store for my case of plantar fasciastis of which they help resolve the matter. . Well, I had suffered another injury to my foot so thought I would stop back in to get my insert adjusted since it has been 4-5 years. The Tempe Store was now closed so I went to visit the Gilbert Store and ran into Alexa and Matt, I believe. My intention going in WAS NOT TO PURCHASE for I had another store where I was going to get the shoes my podiatrist recommended. Upon entering Matt greeted me and listened attentively to my story and what I wanted to get done. Alexa finished up with another customer and came into the conversation and advised me that she knew I procured my inserts from the Tempe Store given the bag and packaging. She let me know she started in Tempe and was trained by David whom sold me my inserts and she had just chatted with the other. David has graduated and moved onto another career which requires long hours of standing on his feet and he just got his inserts adjusted by Alexa last week. This tells me that those who work for the company also use the product during and after employment which is a very good sign. Alexa patiently listened to my current situation, asked a lot of great questions and then made some suggestions for and my current foot injury. She was very knowledgeable, helpful, and very service minded knowing that I was not going to purchase anything that day. She recommended that I try on the Brooks Glycerin show just to see how the new inserts would work if later on down the road I decided to buy them along with letting me know of the current Presidents Day Sale. I concluded my business at the store that day and did not buy anything and yet I felt like I had purchased 2 to 3 pairs of inserts that day given the attention, service, smile and well wishes from Alexa and Matt. Purchased orthotics from this store in August of 2017. They provided the orthotics and some inserts; they ordered me a pair of shoes that they implied were the best to use with their inserts and orthotics. I live in a different state; the shoes were delivered on time. I tried using the orthotics and shoes - they were horrible and did not help at all. I tried to explain at the time that I have nerve damage in my lower back and that muscles in my foot / leg simply do not work. They assured me - no matter, this will help. I was just cleaning up the wardrobe and find these 'worn for 7 day shoes and orthotics' and decided to provide this feedback. Do not use the Good Feet Store if you have more serious walking issues. (They are clearly not qualified to deal with this and can only provide a set of orthotics based on a simple fitting and look up table). I spent over $600 on these and can tell you that nearly 2 years later, they were a complete waste of money. read more
