I do not like this location. Its the second time ive been here since I moved here and both have been underwhelming in service. Wish I had noted the last associate's name. But Im here to complain about the service, or lack thereof, tonight. Marissa was the cashier. No friendly greeting, smile, nothing. When it came time to pay I wanted to use my rewards. Which at that time I had the shocking discovery my rewards account had been compromised. I had recently had some fishy email activity so immediately this lined up with that. She could tell I was bothered and worried about finding out my account has been compromised. She did not offer to call customer service to see if theres anything they can find about how/when it was hacked or what not. Zero effort given to help me. And zero pleasantries on her part at all. She asked me the same question 5 times. I told her repeatedly I never had the dsw app downloaded so I could not give her my shoe lover reward number or whatever. All I know was my account was linked to my email and phone number which apparently the hackers have changed. Left a bad taste about this location. No empathy. No problem solving skills. No friendly free smiles. Just basic retail workers that have no common sense on how to troubleshoot or provide service. They only know how to click a few buttons, rinse, repeat. I did not expect her to solve anything bur just her lack of initiative to call customer service or act like she cared. read more

This is your typical DSW. It's a large store with a lot of merchandise. The store is well organized, clean, and well maintained. They always have a significant clearance section at the back of the store and you can find good deals there. Prices are clearly marked throughout the store and the employees we've encountered have been friendly. No complaints. read more

We made a 20 min trip over to DSW today to find the store was already closed at 6:45 even though it said the store would be open until 7pm. The workers were still inside when I called them. They said that they decided to close two minutes early, which was a lie. We've been standing outside for at least 10 minutes. I left upset because it didn't specify that anywhere on the text message I had received with the code, but I was even more upset when we got home and clicked on the link to look at the details where it said that it was valid online or in the store. This was the first time I visited this DSW. I'm happy that I am so close to this store. I purchased a pair of boots online that were too wide. I had no problem returning them with my receipt and getting credit back on my credit card. This is a large store. They have all kinds of sneakers, boots, sandals, pumps and also socks, handbags and accessories. I tried on a few pair of boots and an employee asked if I needed help which was nice. DSW has some amazing sales and it is beneficial to sign up for their rewards program. I'll definitely be back. read more

I'm a huge fan of shoes & turn to DSW to find a pair due to the variety! They carry women's shoes including pumps, heels, sandals, flats, boots, & athletic shoes as well as men's sandals, boat shoes, athletic shoes, and so on. If the shoe isn't available in the size you're looking for at the store, they're usually good about offering to help find it at one of their nearby locations for pick-up or online for delivery straight to your home. The only reason for 4 stars and not 5 stars for this location is because they don't seem to offer as large of a variety as some of their other locations. And unfortunately, they seem to not have multiple sizes available in some of the shoes. They do still offer handbags, jewelry, and other accessories though, in addition to the shoes! With every purchase you accumulate points towards rewards certificates. Additionally, if you're part of the rewards program they occasionally send out coupons and special offers. Overall, I'd say it's definitely worth a stop in to DSW to see all they have to offer! read more

I really enjoy DSW and lately is seems to be the only place I shop for shoes. I can get shoes for the whole family here which is another draw- although they don't carry childrens shoes. One thing that I don't think people realize is that they carry a decent selection of handbags and a huge selection of socks. It is never so busy that I cant get help when needed and checkout is usually pretty quick as well. My favorite thing about dsw is that if they don't have your size, they free ship to your home and purchases typically arrive fast-my last purchase arrived in two days! I couldn't remember the exact style I had purchased before and she helped me search thru my account to ensure I was reordering the right pair . She was patient and thorough and my feet thank her!!! DSW has all sorts of shoes for men - oxfords, loafers, boots, athletic, sandals, and safety shoes. For women, there are even more (in fact, the store is about a 30/70 split between men and women items). I've compared the prices with Amazon and Zappose (which used to always have the lowest prices) and it seems to me that DSW always had the lowest price after taxes/shipping/etc. If you are like me - male or female - I suggest signing up for their reward program. I bought a pair of $70 flip flops 2 weeks ago. I went to wear them and threw the box and everything away not thinking about it. After 30 minutes of wearing them, they tore up my toes so badly I had to walk around downtown Phoenix barefoot until I got back into my car. I was in the store today and mentioned it at the register. I showed them my still healing toes. With no receipt and no box, they happily offered to take them back and gave me a full refund. Horrible experience here today, I was trying to buy a new pair of sneakers and redeem a $10 coupon I had in my account, I wasn't too sure how to access it and I asked the lady ringing me up for some guidance, she said " I don't know " not even bothering to help me or look at my phone to help for that matter. I then told her I didn't want to pay full price for the shoes if I could get $10 off, as I stood there trying to figure it out, she just stared at me with no help whatsoever. I felt so embarrassed as the line started to build and led me to walk out of the store in tears. Not sure why she wouldn't have known how to navigate the website let alone a promotion! This is a great store with a large range of shoe types for women, men, and children. I'm giving them a 3 star rating because they don't carry 10.5 in women's shoes at the physical store itself. The associate I spoke with stated that they carry up to size 9.5 (for half sizes) in the store however 10.5 sizes can be bought online only. Selection is great but can't say the same about the price. Even the clearance items are expensive. Pretty much every pair runs $30 and up. I would never come here just to buy shoes to wear and look cute. I must admit that I did get my sketchers go walk tennis shoes here on sale, and while they were still expensive, it was a bit cheaper than what other stores were asking. But other than that, it would be too hard to afford several pairs of casual shoes here. I went there in winter to check out their selection of tall boots and was amazed that they wanted $80 and up for boots that weren't even real leather and weren't of impressive quality. I called customer service yesterday because I still had no order number and no shipping confirmation but a hold on my account and was told I would not be receiving my shoes due to a ghost order and the hold would drop off. Well the payment went through and they somehow can't find me in the system STILL and I won't be receiving my shoes. Came here to shop for some Dr.Martens for work. I pick out the shoes I want and they had a sign that said you need to ask an associate to get you the "right" shoe because only the left pair was in the boxes. No big deal my mom and I go up and ask. They get the shoe and say we have to try them on upfront as they watch. A little weird.... But whatever I moved to the front and tried on the shoes. The associate stood by the front door watching me as I was walking around in the shoes. They never took there eyes off me and even my mom made a comment on how weird it was. I decided to get them and as I'm walking to the front register the associate stops me to take the shoes away to bring them behind the counter and says I need to go wait in line. I honestly thought they were taking them to check me out but in reality they didn't want me to hold the shoes that I was purchasing. I love DSW but this store has horrible customer service. I found a pair of wedges with only one available in my size. Looked at them and could clearly tell they had been worn and returned. The soles have worn out spots and they were dirty all over (probably could be wiped off though so ok not too big of a deal but still) I needed them for a wedding in a few days and found nothing else so I figured I'd ask if they could be discounted. I pointed out the problem to the girl checking me out and she just stood there confused for a min and finally said ok I guess I can get a manager. The manager came over and she is just not pleasant. I didn't get her name but wish I did. She obviously didn't want to help and tried to say it was someone wore them in the store... how would the soles get worn out from just that???.... So she finally says "well, best I can do is 10% off or order another pair but those are going to come from a store so I can't promise they will be clean either" really? So basically buying shoes from the stores you will get dirty shoes?! Wow. DSW has amazing, name brand shoes at a fraction of the price of the department stores across the street in San Tan Mall. How can you go wrong?? If you're looking for a specific type of shoe, DSW can be hit-or-miss as their selection changes weekly (or so it seems). One of my coupon codes was not working and I lost the deal I had in my shopping cart online. Are these people trained to be jerks?! I have had to return 2 different pairs of shoes and both times the cashier has responded with "it's our policy not to take returns" but when you make a point of why you are returning they get a manager to do the return. All representatives involved have a chip on their shoulders and act like they don't/can't help you. I have bought easily over 30 pairs of shoes here over the years and would strongly consider never coming back because of the hassle you get when trying to make a return. read more

This is the absolute worst store for customer service. I had my entire family a total of 6 kids looking for shoes, Taylor and her friend that both work at the market place location had no interest to help anyone. I asked her for a measure thing to measure my daughters feet and she points and says it's back there, I go look and find no measure thing so I ask where is it. She very rude says it's back there the chart on the wall. Which the chart says ages and expected size, my reply was I could have googled that she replied ok oh well.. I said wow your rude I won't be buying her shoes her she says ok. So I walk to the back to find my husband who still insists to buy shoes and we come across a foot measure that's papers u put on the ground to measure. Had she just walked us over to show us they do exist instead of very rudely saying we don't have measures it's a chart on the wall, or even nicely explaining that. But instead she very much was rude with her reply they don't have them. Well they do and she should not be in customer service. Taylor needs some classes how to treat customers that are still spending money during covid hard times, my daughter walked by as she was complaining about the customers she had to deal with today. I will never ever come back to this store after today taylor you need an office in the back where you don't talk to customers. If she is in the floor to help customers then maybe that's what she should do instead of chatting with her coworker friend.
