Initially, we came for a set for hubby's feet, but after a trial, we ended up with a set for me too. I thought they sold individual insoles, but they are only sold in sets. However, this store also sell supportive shoes and different styles of socks. We went in and your rep provides information about your feet, arches, and discusses the benefits of good foot support. They take a print of your feet to analyze weight distribution, size each foot individually ("your feet are brothers, not twins"), and you try each pair of insoles with your shoes. There are three sets of insoles designed specifically for your foot care experience. Although this is a bit pricey, it is a great investment for anyone who works long hours or spends a lot of time on their feet. I've been a member of the Good feet store for 10 years now. I came into the Memphis location because my feet had started hurting again after a regular shift at work. Celeste Fitzpatrick took the time to remeasure my foot and realized that my foot had widened and my arch had changed. She set me up with 3 new arch supports for my day to day activities (under warranty, free of charge). I noticed immediately that my lower back pain significantly decreased. When I went to this store, I really didn't know what to expect. I was referred to them and was told I could get a good pair of shies from them. I really didn't expect to get four sets of insoles along with a few other things and a good pair of shoes. The last thing i expected was to have to take a loan out for shoes. Within 24 hours of this review and complaints to Consumer Affairs and the BBB, I was contacted by Ms. Dancer, the manager of The Good Feet Store. She apologized for the inconvenience and offered a full refund. A day /time was arranged. However, there was a little confusion during our pre-arranged visit due to lack of direct communication between management and employees. The employees were not expecting me and refused to call Ms Dancer because it was her day off. Luckily, a note was found and I was given a full refund. Original: On May 20, following one of several appointments assessing the cause of severe back pain, my husband walked into The Good Feet Store at 5853 Poplar Ave in Memphis TN. Mr. Harris, the sales associate, was charismatic, a true salesman. He felt that despite the amount of pain my husband was experiencing and despite his medical conditions: bone tumors and a probable herniated disc, these inserts would solve his problems. He used the tactics of a traveling medicine show, offering false hope while my husband was most vulnerable. A few direct quotes include: "Those doctors don't know what they are talking about. I promise that these will have you running. Stand up and run in place. If you invest in these, you will be back at working, making money again; the cost is worth it. You see that man over there (pointing at a large man in the store), he had to be carried in by his friends, now he's walking and pain-free." My husband tried on the arch system and felt relief. The first 24 hour period was great. The following 24 hour period was decent. Thereafter he experienced an immediate and intense decline. For five days, he wore the support system, as directed. At that point he was no longer able to function. Unfortunately, the herniated disc ruptured with extrusion. Based on the change of symptoms, range of motion, and severity of pain, the ruptured occurred during this time frame. My husband is now unable to be on his feet for long, is in excruciating pain, is awaiting back surgery, and will likely have long term nerve damage. As he is no longer up moving about, he will not be able to benefit from these supports. That being said, a refitting would not be helpful or appropriate at this time, either. Given the above information, I called Mr. Harris on Saturday, May 30 to request a full refund on the 3 Step System. He stated he and his manager would call us on Wednesday to discuss my request. They did not call. On June 5, I emailed the store, asking that the manager address my request. I provided the above information, a copy of the receipt and pictures of products received , as I noticed he did not receive the arch activators. The receipt shows three packs were purchased. He was also sold 3 packs of Athletic Cushions. I stated that I would be extremely grateful if I could return the two untouched athletic cushions, in addition to a my refund request on the 3 step system and the 3 items that we did not receive. I received a call the next morning from a sales person who said she wanted to acknowledge my email and that I would hear from the manager no later than Wednesday. My husband was taken advantage of by Mr. Harris . The total of our purchase was $1464.69. To make this purchase, Mr. Harris "helped" my husband get an increase on our Care Credit account. My husband didn't realize that in addition to the 3 Step System, he purchased 6 cushions/inserts. Why on earth would he need 6 cushions / inserts (but again only receiving 3). Now, by ignoring our situation, The Good Feet Store is choosing to actively participate in the unethical, profit over client approach to business. Please note: A care instruction sheet which had a disclaimer at the bottom of the page stating to consult your physician before using was placed in the bag, but it was not reviewed and the statements made by Mr. Harris did not did not support the company's policy. Again, when my husband shared his medical issues with Mr. Harris, Mr. Harris told him to try them on because they will eliminated the pain. Mr. Harris DID NOT tell him that he needs to consult his doctor first. Also, when my husband tried them on, Mr. Harris stated that he's walking better already and that the doctors don't know what they're talking about. The bottom of the receipt says only Store credit or exchanges, but that was never discussed and my husband went in while in pain. He was convinced by Mr. Harris that this would be the answer. Our total loss with this purchase is almost 1500. Although I made a phone call and spoke to Mr. Harris on May 30 and sent an email on June 5, I still have not heard anything further from Mr. Harris nor his manager. It is now June 24. I am focusing on my husband's comfort. I do not have time to hound The Good Feet Store to do the right thing, but I want to warn other potential victims. Do Not Shop at The Good Feet Store on Poplar Ave in Memphis TN. I would hate for anyone else to be in this position. read more

This store Poplar gave me a quote of $299 for relaxers support in late November 2020. On December 22, 2020 at 4:30PM, I came back to get the relaxes for my shoes and the price was nearly $400 instead of $299.00 less my military discount. The female clerk stated to me that she could no longer give me the relaxers at that price. I have been coming to the good feet store in Memphis since they opened more than 15 years ago and have spent over $1000 on supports. Though first week initially had relief, but still not pain free. Left message at local store to call me, no return call as yet. I have a feeling I have purchase expensive orthotics that do not work any better than less expensive counterparts. So I believe the commercials are all paid advertisements and not true testimonies. Bottom line- too expensive, poor follow up, does decrease pain, but does not eliminate. It is easier to walk with the inserts. Just my experience. read more

Before buying their $1000.00 inserts, try Wal-marts insert machine and purchase inserts from Walmart. I purchased inserts from Good Feet about a month ago and my foot is still in pain. Will try podiatrist next. Start with your Dr. before buying Good Feet inserts. My clue before making my purchase should have been the sales person who was limping as if in pain. read more

Great store, very helpful. I suffer with plantar fasciitis and if you have this issue, then you know how painful it is. I was very skeptical about getting any relief. I am on my 3rd day and the pain is almost gone. This is above and beyond what I was expecting. I will never walk without these supports again. The manager was a great guy and very helpful.
