I spent, with tax, about $800 for two sets of arch supports. She was a slick talker and when I asked the basic question, how much, she tried to dance around it. I took them back two weeks later and was told no refunds. I didn't know that but I didn't read through the fine print. She did exchange them for another different arch. Their inserts worked for me and have totally cured my planter facetious so I happy with the results. What I am disgusted with is the amount I paid for the package I bought. I guess some of this is on me for purchasing (free will and all) but I thought that this was going to be a more involved and difficult treatment. 3 different insole to work through with an error ridded spreadsheet with instructs that was later replaced with corrections and some different instructions. Also there was bunch of overprices additional items in the package that are nearly useless to me. My therapist was more of a salesperson than a medical specialist. I was never given an option of buying the insoles individually as some reviews indicated. Didn't receive ant real guidance after the first day. Couldn't even get a straight answer to what I should look for in a shoe, except "neutral" what ever that is. If I had it to do over again, I would first go to a drugstore and buy some inserts for a fraction of the cost. I don't know how well those would have worked but I feel that it would be worth a try. I have buyer's remorse. After spending an obscene amount of money, I am not sure the supports helped much at all. After two visits to a physical therapist, my feet finally feel better. Furthermore, I was told I would get a call from the salesperson five days after I bought the supports. That was August 19 and this is September 17 and I am still waiting... A great heaping helping of malarkey. About $1000 of non returnable " personal care items." Phooey! This business capitalizes off of people's pain and suffering. They are bad, bad people taking advantage of those in pain and glossing over facts to leave you with a huge bill and stock pieces of plastic. Here is what to expect. They will tell you to come in when you are in pain. Why? To ensure you are as desperate as possible. They will make you wait 20 minutes. Why? To make what they are selling seem more desirable. Then they hand you a clip board and ask you to fill it out why they attend to business. This will look medical. Why? They want your personal info. Then they do a cheap carbon imprint of your foot. Why? To make it seem scientific and medical. The inserts are all stock so it actually serves no purpose. Then you get an old carny trick where they push on your arms and hands in various positions. Surprise, you will be off balance. Then you will step on inserts and the will do it again only..... voila you have balance and can't be pushed over! Bull pucky roadside nonsense. Then the 3 steps. You get one insert you are supposed to hobble around in for 15 minutes a day. Why? Got me. Then some stabilizing inserts for different types and lengths of walking. Why? Dunno, probably cause it is more of an investment emotionally and physically. This goes on for about 30 minutes. Then people's experiences vary. I asked how much. $319 for each insert. At this point I had a No Way Jose moment. The manger is Jose. I asked what if they don't work? No return exchange only ( remember the inserts are stock). What if they cause more pain? Exchange. What if I go to my podiatrist and get them custom made? Insert cricket sound here. I absolutely called them out on the spot, politely but firmly. Asking people who are suffering to spend $1000 on a product they will regret is evil and reeks of scumbag. So, when you go in remember NO WAY JOSE! Enjoy the response I get. Went to the New Good Feet Store in Tacoma. Excellent customer service. Woke and able to walk without limping. So why isn't it a 5 Star review? A few reasons: 1. Just got them. Who knows if they're going to keep working or the shape they will be in. 2. Price. I can't believe I spent $300.00 on arch support without doing research. Is there any difference between these and the ones you buy at Walmart? They don't look like anything special, just plastic. I called and talked to Allison. She was incredibly informative and detailed. Logically, she made so much more sense than my stupid doctor or anyone else I've talked to about customized arch supports. A couple of "Aha" moments for me. #1: I asked her to compare her product with customized arch support where either your doctor, or a doctor Scholl machine makes a mold of your feet. I got a very tactful answer that was basically: A mold of your foot will keep your foot the same- ie: prolonging the problem with out correction. The approach they have, steadily corrects your problem and you can get a new imprint of your feet each year to prove it. #2: I mentioned that the very expensive shoes I buy, even ones specialized for foot pain, wear away with in 3 months. Her answer, it because your shoes adjust and wear away to the weight distribution of your feet and make grooves so your feet will eventually be kept in the same pattern. She was upfront, honest and thorough before I got there. She believed 100% in her product as it significantly affected her own life in a positive way. It is quite a commitment and yes, expensive. Coming in for a consultation Don was the man that helped us. He was a fun guy to have around. Basically you come in and do a free fitting. It's been a month since I last came in and. I finally bought me a pair of step 2 and step 3 and $30 good feet insoles. They DO NOT take medical insurance so I paid the premium of $700+ . They do take credit care and Yu can apply for the card with 12 months no interest. I have been struggling with my foot since birth. I had foot surgery 3years ago and I'm still recovering from everything. I'm on my feel all day at work and I walk a lot. These inserts need some breaking in to and getting used to it. It's important that you take it one step at a time. Amy also helped us and recommend to wear them 3 hours everyday and add an hour every week. The relaxers I used at home for just couple hours. I will update this review in a month and see what happens. So far feet feels fine and I can't wait to wear them more often and hopefully getting back to shape. Thanks Don for being great. "Zero Stars" but I had to rate the company, so One Star! My husband and I had a head spinning experience there the other day, and we hope we can save even ONE person from the consumer trap called THE GOOD FEET STORE. Here is our experience - My husband has been suffering from an undiagnosed foot problem for over a year so we thought we would stop in and check out THE GOOD FEET STORE. Immediately upon entering the store, we were bombarded with fast talking, high pressure sales tactics. First they have you take off your shoes and stand on carbon paper to get an image of the pressure points on your feet, and once you see how "terrible" your pressure points are, you are now in much need of their "3 step" foot support plan. Amy performed a few balance tests on my husband without the supports under his feet, and then placed the supports under his feet, and did the balance tests again to show how the supports improve balance, but in the process of these aggressive tests, she injured his back, and pulled his back muscles. At this point no mention of any pricing... The sales woman AMY FOULKS at the Southcenter store location (16831 Southcenter Parkway) went to the back and got a pair of cheap off brand tennis shoes and inserted the "Step 1" supports and had my husband walk around the store. He says to me, "why don't we just go to Walmart and get some arch supports there?" I wanted him to get some relief from his very painful feet, so I told him to keep walking. We finally had to ask about pricing and my husband was shocked to find out that each set costs $349.00 and they come in a box set of three sets of supports. So, now we are looking at $1000 plus dollars! She tells us that there is a LIFETIME warranty, but we have to pay $19.99 if we ever want to replace worn or damaged supports! We then ask how much are the tennis shoes that she has been using to put the support in and having my husband walk around in, and she says they are $160.00 a pair. My husband asks if the supports can be used with his own street shoes, and she says yes! So, she abandons the overpriced cheep off brand tennis shoes, and rips out the glued in soles of my husbands shoes, before we even agree to buy anything. I don't know what happens but we just got caught up in the sales frenzy, and all caution went out the window. This must be the reason smart people can be scammed! She rings up the purchase, and only after she runs our credit card, she then tells me to sign the bottom of an itemized receipt which says we cannot return the product for a refund! Store credit only. Well, that would have been nice to know before she rang up the sale! Also, we did not notice that she also rang up 3 pair of athletic cushion sets at $30.00 each for a total of $90 that we had no idea we purchased. You can only wear one pair at a time anyway! ... right? We just feel taken, scammed, pressured, and now we cant even return the UNUSED products because I signed that stupid agreement on the receipt. My husband has been using the "Step 3" supports for the past few days, and they are helping his feet a bit, but we probably could have gotten arch supports at WALMART for $49.99 and had the same results as these overpriced plastic pieces of s***. Overall, we feel that THE GOOD FEET STORE saleswoman was not forthright with us, and just decided to sell us whatever she could get away with! We probably would have been stuck with those $160 tennis shoes if we wouldn't have asked about them, and she would have just rang them up with all the other stuff she threw in. So Bottom line is, we paid $1074.70 for cardboard boxes with plastic foot supports inside. I have been experiencing lower back, hip pain for years. This year I started having chronic knee pain, due to osteoarthritis. I know proper shoes and support are important to help alleviate pain in these areas. Upon entering the Good Feet Store, the environment was clean, friendly and welcoming. We were greeted with smiles and professionalism turning all their attention to my concerns, and We started working with Nick. As noted in previous comments, Nick took some footprints to help review my walking pattern and current arch in each foot, he watched me walk with my current shoes, asking me to concentrate on my entire body, looking for every joint or area I felt not only pain but discomfort. He then tested my balance both in my current shoes and with no shoes, both were off. Then we started working on the supports. I went through many supports before we find the ones right for me. They didn't alleviate all my aches and pains, but there was a huge difference in the level of pain felt and with the balance test, it wasn't perfect, but because of my body position I was stronger and more balanced. These supports are not a cure all, they are part of a process along with my doctor visits and physical therapy. If you are looking for a fix all and expect the supports to take away all your pain, you are setting yourself up for disappointment. These will not keep you out of the doctor's office, but they will help improve the quality of life. Customers play a big part in their satisfaction in these supports. You have to be honest and not settle until you are satisfied. Ask questions about how they feel and again be HONEST! The reason there is a lifetime exchange is because as your feet change, you age, pain levels and areas change, you won't have to pay the full expense of the support. I Have always been a very active person. I started to get horrible heel pain and started developing Plantar Fasciitis. I was referred to The good feet store by my brother, who lives in New York. They helped him and he had horrible problems with his knees and lower back. I went in, I knew they were expensive because my brother purchased a system for $1,100.00. I got mine for about $950.00 As soon as I went through my free consultation and was put in my orthodics, my pain was reduced by 80% and decreased daily from there, I am now completely out of pain. True I was sold before I went in due to my big brothers recommendation and he also paid for my system because it was my birthday gift:) These products are amazing, you have to follow the system like they say. They likened it to braces on your teeth. Braces, Retainer and a Mouth Guard. I read a few reviews and to the gentleman who says it didn't work for him and that it was snake oil, I say bull. This system is amazing you feel the relief right away, yes, but if you follow the directions and listen to them when they say " its not uncommon for you to develop pain in other areas of your body because you are waking up dormant muscles and you are working muscles you have not worked before" you would have to be prepared to work though the discomfort while your body adjusted to its new alignment and posture, you will get full relief. In entering the store, it quickly became clear to me that the personnel were trained in selling, not necessarily in the technical skills required to analyze or assess individualissues. There was a completely, "hosed up "analysis by stepping on paper and leaving and ink footprint for each foot. basically. These were used to determine which of the shoe inserts would be appropriate based on your foot print. There was no consideration, that each foot, left and right, might be different? my first surprise, was the out rages $300 plus price tag for a pair of molded pieces of plastic. Of course these were the Cadillac version, which of course I needed. I was told he had a lifetime guarantee. I tried to and then check the ones that came in at less cost $200 and surprise, these also had a lifetime guarantee. When I called to get some information on the store, in advance of my visit, I was told these inserts started at $95. Does anyone sense, the idea of bait and switch? I did end up purchasing, these inserts. After one hour in the store, you begin to believe that somehow, these are going to help. They do not work, they have not helped, and I feel completely ripped off. They do make you sign a disclosure, that you're excepting these as non/medical They clearly want to make sure, that you can't come back and say they don't work because, they are not promising that they will. I have always been very active. All my jobs have been on my feet. In the last few years I have been felling my knees, at about 54 years of age. I did start buying insoles over the counter. They lasted for awhile, but a same pains always came back. Then at 60 I started felling my hips.Everyone was saying GOOD FEET. So I went to the Good Feet store. The women there was very helpful. I did the walking test, tried the insoles. there are 3 different ones, for different activities . Yes, I did all most drop my teeth when she said the price.But I have had them for about 3 months now, I have no pain!!!! There is a transition time, 2-3 weeks that you feel your muscles working and moving back to where they are suppose to be. But after that all my muscles, knees, hips all fell GOOD! I see she stuck to the company line of 300 made in America inserts etc. I did find a very good alternate solution in Resa Wearables who have recently been showing up in various Costco locations. They use computerized 3D foot scanners and 3D print insoles for you on the spot. All for about a thousand dollars less than at the Good Feet store. So far my feet and my wallet have been just WONDERFUL. read more

This company has the absolute worse customer service I have ever experienced. My fiance has spent over $1000.00 to have Good Feet supposedly "fix" her foot pain. Your product and reps are nothing but liars and thieves. We have taken time out of our days to go to their Tukwila store to resolve the fact that their intial product we purchased was incorrectly sized and made the pain worse. Their representatives exhibited nothing but disrespect and disregard for our issues and would not offer any help aside from telling us that she, "simply needs to soak her feet in epsom salt" to fix the pain that their junk product has caused.  The reps are rude, incompetent and have no customer service skills what so ever, especially at ths Tukwila, WA location. Don't waist your money - just another hard insole that is over priced. I went to the store and the manager Mike helped me with the fitting and purchase. He said for any reason I do not like the insoles to return them to him. So, they killed my feet and I returned them within 2 week window. The district manager was there on the day I returned them and was completely rude and said they are "personal items" and cannot be returned. I've been having trouble with foot pain and thought I would try Good Feet. When I got into the store and after looking at some of the shoes I was told that I could try out a pair of shoes with orthodic padding and if I didn't like it I could bring it back. When I got home and tried them on they hurt my feet worse than my tennis shoes so I tried to return them. When I got back to the store I was told that they didn't accept returns. Update to my review. I'm happy to say that within 30 minutes of my posting this review I was contacted directly by the owner of the business asking me to provide further details and stating that he would look into what happened. He did get back to my husband and I and it looks like he is going to correct the situation. I will post further when that happens, but I want to say that I am relieved to see that he showed concern and a willinginess to look at the other side of the story. I'm sorry that my initial interactions with the store employees did not get conveyed and that my call to the corporate office did not get to the owner before our turning to the BBB and to YELP. We are not adversarial people by nature and would have preferred to have come to a resolution in another way.I respect a business that is willing to work with a customer. I also acknowledge that my remarks about cheap plastic came out of frustration and anger and that I do understand the point of the 3 step system and that orthotic inserts are extremely helpful for many people. ___________________________________________________________________ It's too long of a story to go through the entire thing, but let me just say that they have unethical practices and you should stay away at all cost. We just filed a complaint with the BBB and will file one with the attorney generals office as well. They have a policy that states no returns, which in itself should always be a red flag, but my husband was pretty desperate for relief and willing to try anything. We were pressured not only into buying the "3 step system" but also new shoes and insoles... the old, it doesn't work unless you get the whole package deal! Anyway, after going back to the store on three different occasion's and having several re-fits that did not help and were causing severe foot pain, the sales girl offered to take the product back and email the corporate office for a refund. She said that the owner of the company acknowledges that about 3% of the population the inserts don't work for and she said that we were obviously the 3% and that we had given it a good try.We were thrilled with her offered as we had spend an embarrassing $1800 for a system for my husband and myself and the shoes. After a few back and forth rude emails from the store manager, they refused to honor her offer of a refund and we never got the product back, so not only are we out the money we spent ( our credit card company would not reverse the charge because we signed the receipt) but we don't even have the cheap plastic to show for it. As an aside, as the other reviewer noted, I also asked the price before we ever got started and she said they were about $85. I was shocked by the time we spent an hour with her that she came out with the 3 step system and said it was $800! Then we got the whole line about how the lowest level one is $85 but you needed the whole system to get the full benefit, yada yada yada.... Awful business practice. We were pleased with the sales girl who probably lost her job for offering us a refund, but the manager was bad and I called the corporate office in California and they said the Tukwilla and Lynwood stores were independently owned and that they would have the owner call me and of course he never did. All I can say is BUYER BEWARE. I bought a pair of inserts and was not satisfied as they hurt my feet, and took them back to the store. They will not do anything and you are stuck with an expensive pair of inserts. Once you hand over the money they are done with you. Procedure: they take your feet imprint, circle the pressure points, (by the way, which have nothing to do with your inserts as they are GENERIC and come out of a box by shoe size). They are not treating those specific pressure points. The sales clerk told me they were $800. Then he came down to $200, both having lifetime guarantee. RED FLAG. By going to Walmart and buying a pair of nice inserts for less than $10 will save you a lot of money, or go to your podiatrist and have a specific pair of inserts made for YOUR feet. My experience is quite similar to the majority of reviews here, the usual marketing nonsense and certainly a very high price. I purchased the three-step arch supports which came with an "adjustment schedule." My first red flag was getting home and finding there was nothing in the boxes we received, no arch supports. Just empty boxes. Had to go all the way back and fortunately I got the arch supports. The "adjustment schedule" gives direction as to which one to wear, for how long and at what time. Then it says your "associate" will contact you after about 5 days. Never got the call. So after about a week, I called them. Went to voice mail so I left a message. Nothing still after two weeks so I called them. This time I got my "associate" and she gave me an excuse along the lines of "my dog ate my homework" only worse. Supposedly, another "associate" absconded with all the paperwork so they had no means to reach me. So I asked my questions and she gave suggestions and directed me to call back at a specific time in a week. I did exactly as directed, got voice mail and never got a call back. I honestly don't know if these things work. I don't believe the lowest level, called relaxers, give enough support. But I would suggest you spend the money on a podiatrist, I doubt it would cost as much as these people and certainly would have better follow-up. Oh, and the "lifetime warranty." What good is it if these people are out of business in 4 to 6 months? Don't believe me, read the other reviews. read more
