I felt completely bombarded and uncomfortable right away. I was not familiar with the store at all and was just hoping to find comfortable sneakers. There were 2 sales people perhaps one was a manager that apparently had nothing better to do than to tag team me and make me feel forced into an interview before I ever got to look at any merchandise. When I finally said can I please just look at a shoe or express that I was just trying to get some info or look around, the woman sitting on one side of me (creating a physically uncomfortable back and forth) said "our goal is to get you 8 or 9 comfortable shoes". I immediately had to exit, felt so culty & off. I still was never given a normal introduction as to what they order or sell etc. and I will never go back to find out. I wish this store would close down and a normal comfortable shoe store could be built in its place. read more

I didn't have an appointment but they took me right in. They understand the issues I was having. They fitted me with the exact shoes I was looking for to help my issues. With the various inserts they had, I was actually walking better instantly in the store. I was very impressed. The price was a little more than I was expecting, but the results for my improved health does justify the cost. read more

Saw another seller of same inserts ha!/ You'd laugh too, was exact same pieces and gadgetry completely ha! Annnd pricing of were not even a 5th of Ha! 4/30/21--If I could give it a 0 for customer service--what a horrible experience. I made an appointment online The Good Feet store at 8512 Cooper Creek Blvd Sarasota FL 34201 and when I arrived on time....only one sales person was available and told me I had to wait 1/2 hour as he took a walk-in customer over an appointment. I told him I would be back in a 1/2 hour. I arrived on time the 2nd time and there were 2 people waiting, another person getting service from that same salesperson. 2 sales persons were in the store but once again, their response was to take the person who was waiting in the store over a scheduled appointment 1/2 hour before. What is the point of making an appointment if you don't honor that customer first. Instead of this store chain, Take your business to The Happy Feet store in downtown Sarasota, FL. They provided the best service including waiting on more than one customer at a time. read more

Our 7 year old son was having foot pain from having flat feet, we have always heard of the Good Feet Store and decided to go in the store and get some information, Cathie was very helpful and knowledgeable we did end up buying him some orthotics, yes they are expensive, but it's been well worth it. My daughter and I got inserts months ago. Now I just came in with three of my boys to get them inserts as well. It was a wonderful experience. I had a sales woman her name was Cathie. I would recommend to go to her if you ever come to the store. She has fit us into all kinds of awkward hours. I showed up with three small children who made a mess in her store and they just smiled at me kindly. I walked into the store and Chase walked right up and started helping me. He was very knowledgeable about the products and was very nice and friendly. It's been a year since my first visit to this Good Feet Store. Kathy greeted me and walked me through my fitting. I was pretty skeptical, but I was desperate and had exhausted all other options. She fitted me w my orthotics and within 3 days my lower back pain was gone. I went for my year check up the other day and once again, kathy greeted me. It was a refreshing feeling to see a familiar face. She walked me through my fitting and changed my arch supports. My lower back pain has been gone now for a year. Kathy has opened my eyes to the shoe world. I use to have my favorite brand of shoe that worked for me and I stuck with that brand until now. I can wear any shoe, I just put my orthotic in it and I am good to go. I highly recommend it. read more

After having ball of my foot pain after hiking distances it was suggested I try Good Feet. The staff was extremely friendly and professional but when it came down to it, it appeared they had four different insoles (only under arch and heel, nothing under the ball of your foot where my pain is), one you end up wearing all the time, one that helps you train your feet in two different hardness levels, and one to wear when relaxing. Maybe different sizes per shoe size but that's not unusual. What took me back was these insoles were $399/each pre-taxes! That's basically $1,200 for a set of insoles! I was trying other high arch insoles that the most expensive was $14, weren't perfect but close. I'm sure there's a place for these with people that have a spare $1,200 to spend, but for that money I'd go to a podiatrist and get checked by a doctor rather than a salesperson. read more

I don't usually write reviews but I think this time it's important to let people know my experience at The Good Feet Store. I've been having some trouble with my feet lately. A lot of pain in the ball of my feet and on the side. I was on my feet alot the past week or so cleaning up after the hurricane so my feet got really sore. Plus I walk a lot so I figured maybe I needed to get a new pair of sneakers. I saw The Good Feet Store next to the gym and thought maybe they could help me pick the right pair of sneakers so I made an appointment. The salesmen were very nice. After telling them where my foot pain was, they took imprints of my feet and then brought over a couple pairs of shoes. A pair of Brooks and a pair of Hey Dudes. Then took the insoles out and replaced with this plastic arch support piece and a different insole and had me try them on. All I did was walk maybe 20 steps and found it very uncomfortable. So they switched them out with different arch supports. They were better but still hurt my arches. They told me that was normal. After a long conversation about how the system works, they talked me into buying the whole three part system. Said it was the best thing I could do for my feet. I didn't really think it was ideal considering I wear sandles most is the time but they talked me into anyway. Then the big question... I asked how much it would cost. $1,400.00 !!!!! OMG. I was shocked. I had just spent thousands of dollars cleaning up after the hurricane and was not financially able to spend that kind of money. All I really wanted was a pair of sneakers. So I said no....several times. Then they told me they would take Care Credit and make payments. I thought about it for a while, decided to give it a try since the salesperson said if I didn't like them he'd refund me the money. They told me to wear the first set for half hour. Second set for one hour and the third set the rest of the time. After 10 minutes in the first set, mostly driving, my arches were killing me. I could barely walk into the store I stopped at. After the 30 minutes were up I switched to the 2nd pair. I was still hurting pretty bad but I wanted to give them a real chance. By the time I got home, I was able to switch to the third pair. So much more comfortable but my feet were still in a lot of pain. By the time I went to bed my feet were throbbing. In the four hours since I had left the store, I probably only spent one hour total on my feet. Needless to say, I couldn't sleep. The pain was terrible in my arches. And I had no pain in my arches prior to walking in the store. While I was laying awake I decided to look at the reviews for The store and product. I was shocked to see so many negative reviews from doctors and customers. I wanted to kick myself in the butt for not researching before I bought. So the next morning I called and talked to the salesperson. Told him I would be back after work to return them. He said we could talk about it. Hmmm... I stopped in after work and he had the manager with him all ready to try and talk me out of it. They asked me to sit down and I told them no need to because I just want my money back. I told them that I decided to go see a podiatrist and if he thought I needed arch supports then I would be back to buy them. They bombarded me with all kinds of BS and different offers. Even offered me a pair for $149. Why didn't they offer me them from the beginning? I had enough and told them again that I wanted my money back very forcefully. Finally the manager got up and took my bags from me and processed the refund while the salesperson and her made unprofessional comments. Two days later my arches were still in so much pain from those arch supports along with the pain I already had before, so I managed to get an appt with a podiatrist the following day due to a cancellation. They did X-rays before I saw the doctor. I told the doctor about the pain and then proceeded to tell him that I went to The Good Feet store and he stopped me and said "please don't tell me you bought them". He said they are a waste of money because you can get better support with a $60 pair. No need to spend $1400. And I don't need them anyway. All I needed was a good pair of cushioned insoles for Metatarsalgia. The morale of the story is that they aren't doctors, they are salespeople working on a commission and treating everyone the same way as though we all have the same problem. Those insoles may be good for some people that have major issues with their feet but definitely not for everyone. Do yourself a favor and see a doctor first and see what he/she recommends. read more

My husband got the full package of (3) good feet insoles about 2 1/2 years ago. He was just using 2 of the 3 insoles so went in to trade out the unused one for another of the one he liked best. Cathie was so helpful. She remeasured his feet, rechecked everything as if he were a new client. Together they figured out what worked best, what he needed, and made the exchange. Wow!! Is the first comment off the top of my head to describe The Good Feet Store and their representative Kevin. Kevin looked in our eyes and seemed to truly care about my elder mom's feet. Like a great doctor, Kevin was all ears and was very informative regarding The Good Feet Store and everything foot related. Kevin sprang into action getting us the most he could for our $. He seemed as concerned about our money as we were and we really appreciated it. We also found out why mom's Bunions returned when she lost one of her orthotics inserts and were unable to wear them. I saw a 3 star review on this store saying they will adjust the insoles as long as you own them. What they don't tell you is after 90 days it will cost you 20 bucks a pair. Got my first good feet inserts and a good pair of shoes from Scott at Sarasota (University Park) store. My initial impression is this will be a great help for my condition, plantar fascia, and prevent pain in the future. Scott was very knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with, no high pressure sales tactics. I would recommend the good feet store to anyone having issues. But you should also consult your doctor, as I did before my visit. That is how I learned what condition was causing my pain read more

Basically you are here because your feet hurt and you are willing to try anything. The key item here are orthotics which ain't cheap and cannot be returned. Figure a pair will cost 300 bucks. It takes between 45 minutes and a hour as you will try on several kinds trying to figure which is right for you. Make sure you are happy as there are no returns but they will adjust your pair as long as you own them. read more

i have been enjoying my orthotics from the good feet store, it's amazing how my feet are pain free. i got lazy a while back and didn't use them, and regretted it, i went to the good feet store to get some of the little black stickies to put into my shoes, they were very helpful. now i am using my orthotics again, and wow! no more pain. i am going back next week to buy a pair of shoes i saw there and fell in love with! great staff there at cooper creek store, thank you so much! read more
