I like Goodwill. They always have fresh items out and almost never throw away anything of value. I heard that Goodwill executives are considering purchasing a large store lot in Danvers at the Endicott plaza. I bet it's the Western Marine store that's closing up there soon since that building is huge and almost on its own shared with a small laundromat. There is also a Savers store on that lot which will likely be direct competition just like the Walgreens and CVS pharmacy battles. read more

it was ok until I get to the counter, two of my kids items don't have tags on them. the normal price of kids clothes is 1.99 and I got them right off of the rack. so the cashier says I'm going to go check in the back to make sure I'm not missing anything... I wait about 7 minutes, she comes back and they're both tagged with 10.00 price tags on them!!! like who the f picks these prices? you go to the back and because of the brand or the appearance of how nice the clothing is you decide to put your own price on it and it goes from 1.99 to 10$ ??? seriously?? on donated stuff mind you that some kid or kids have already worn!! these places are started to get ridiculous read more

this thrift store is pretty pricy and doesn't really have a big selection of jeans, i only bought a dress so i wouldn't leave empty handed

I decided to hit up this Goodwill after work looking for a desk since I just moved and desks are expensive! The only suitable table I found was already sold. I personally think that furniture at this store is pretty overpriced; usually at Savers or Salvation Army and other stores like that, wooden furniture would be at most $50 depending on how large. However there were a lot of items that were up to $75! The furniture section was a little sparse and expensive so I didn't leave with anything there, but I did spend about 3 hours perusing the clothing! In general, what I love about Goodwill is that all the items are the same price (save for some of the "boutique" items that are marked way up), as opposed to Savers where they price each item individually. I have to say that the racks in this Goodwill were very crowded so there was not a lot of space to look through the racks. On the upside, this meant that I found a ton of gems that were overlooked by others! This is a plus for people who like to take their time and peruse. However if you're more of an in-and-out type of person looking for a specific clothing item, this may pose an obstacle. They do organize by color instead of size, which is totally fine with me because I like to go through all the sizes anyway. Note: Their dresses are a bit more expensive than other Goodwill stores: $7.99 vs $5.99. The employees there were very nice and non-judgmental. I wish their bathroom wasn't locked--it's not like it's on a very busy city street where people would often come in just to use the restroom. It's located in a shopping plaza. But I suppose it's just the store policy. Unfortunately their discount color tags are only 25% off instead of the normal 50% off. However, I believe it is 50% off on Sundays only. One last thing: I do hope they don't grow their boutique section. I think that much of the draw of thrift stores is the thrill of the hunt. That's why I don't go to consignment stores that are already highly curated and marked up. I had a great first experience and will definitely come back here! read more

I was surprised to find that they do not sort the clothes by size, spent awhile looking at the entire rack only to find out that they don't have the fitting rooms open "since Covid". Ridiculous excuse. What a waste of time, I'm not going to buy clothing without trying it on. VERY DISAPPOINTED. read more

Overall they have a moderate selection of items in every category. If you are looking for off season items they have at least one isle devoted to it. They also have a decent selection of cookware. The minus two is for how they organize their clothing. Color coding is cool and all but I'd prefer if it was organized by size. The problem with color coding clothing is you have to go through every item through the full color spectrum to find pieces here and there in your size. read more

Not worth a special trip, I go once a month when I'm in the area. I don't usually look at the clothing, so this review is based on their hard goods only. For being a decent sized store, there is hardly any merchandise in here! Maybe I go at the wrong time (usually Mondays) but it takes me all of 5 minutes to peruse the entire hard goods sections. The artwork section is consistently overpriced IMHO, and there just aren't many dishes/glassware to speak of. I do appreciate the book section for the inexpensive prices but I don't usually find anything that interesting. I would like to go on another day to see if they are more stocked but I would never make a special trip here, so I guess I'll stick to stopping by when I'm right in the neighborhood. read more

This store is neatly organized and always has great thrift finds! I love combing through and finding the perfect additions to my wardrobe. There's also always a lot of great furniture and houseware items towards the back of the store. I highly suggest this location for all thrifting needs! read more
