Cute couch / mingling area where they set up a Photo Booth

We attended an Harvard-Yale game after party at The Grand! The dance floor seemed spacious and the VIP couch areas were very comfortable. We had enough space to comfortably drink & dance without being on top of each other. I loved that our VIP area had an outlet - we took turn charging our phones throughout the event! They also had so very cute areas for pictures. I'm not sure I'd come out for a regular night but I would def come back if a group I knew rented it out.

Assaulted by a security guard here this weekend and management did nothing about it. A police report was made and shared with management where the guard admitted to putting his hands on me (a woman). When I reached out to the venue to discuss getting a refund due to the fact that I could not enjoy the show as I was speaking with police officers about the incident, I was denied a refund. This place is a joke. Women beware as there are multiple reviews describing assault by security guards.

Went here for Jon Taffer's Browned Butter Bourbon launch party and the food was DEVINE! Lots of finger food options including, shrimp cocktail with mango chutney, beef teriyaki skewers, bacon wrapped scallops, lobster rolls, chicken lettuce wraps, pork lettuce wraps, zucchini fritters, cheese and tater tot fritters, Brie and fig tarts and Kobe beef sliders. The cocktails weren't bad either but honestly, I was there for the food.

Cool spot but you need to pay extra to go to floor and drinks are 22 each for a mixed drink that's not good. Super weird vibes

Staff are extremely rude. Just a terrible atmosphere. The folks at the bar look for any reason to be rude to you.

Ask the Community - The Grand Boston

Is this place a comfortable place for a single man or woman to come and not feel like the odd man out. I have noticed that many of the biggest clubs in the world are not really good for single people?

Maybe, but the biggest demographics there are fresh college grads and/or trust fund kids.

Do they check IDs at the VIP entrance?

I know when we got in they checked all of our IDs, I don't know of a separate VIP line but as big as the Grand is I'm pretty sure they check all IDs.

Is there any sort of seating for general admission available?

    No there isn't

What type of music, and what's the age range of the patrons?

21+ open format big room music (familiar anthems, house remixes, mashups, hip hop)

It is super well-priced at $15/person for 1.5 hours of gameplay which is more than enough for 2 people. They have a bunch of interactive dart games, including classic, and we were able to play all of them multiple times. Additionally, they have Rookie/Normal/Pro lines on the ground so you can choose where to stand and you don't have to be a professional dart player by any means to play these games. The staff is also super friendly. The only concern I had was that the staff wasn't super attentive to our dart table, so despite us clicking the request service button a few times, my girlfriend had to head to the bar to get our drinks and start a tab. My girlfriend's drink was not good either... it was a vodka mixed drink with a salt rim and it was just too salty. It would've been much better with a sugar rim I think. Other than that though, it was an amazing time and I'd highly recommend Flight Club for a date night, outing with friends, or corporate event!

You definitely don't need to be a great dart player to have a good time. The food was tasty, the drinks were excellent, and the overall atmosphere was lively and welcoming. I'd definitely recommend it for a fun and unique group experience.

I was very unsure which area to stay in, but I'm so happy I chose CCB because the location is absolutely perfect. Back Bay is very nice and safe. You even have a wonderful park just outside the doorstep to walk around, and the lovely Boston Commons only two blocks away. Check-in/out was one of the most seamless experiences I've had with hotels/airbnbs. I didn't have to check in with anyone, and I received the door code a few days before. They have a lovely dining room for guests with homemade cookies, fruit, coffee and tea. Unfortunately I didn't take advantage of the breakfast, but I'm sure it's great too. CCB is really the perfect mix of a hotel and bed/breakfast. I was unsure about doing the solo room with a shared bathroom, but other than having to wait for the other guest to finish his shower so I could take an urgent bio break, it was no issue at all and I would hands down do it again. I'm pretty sure the other floors have a bathroom if you absolutely need it though. For the location, price, comfort, and amenities, College Club of Boston is a no brainer. I got the please to quickly meet the GM on my way out, and she is super sweet. I even left my airpods in the room, and without hesitation they are shipping them back to me. 5 starts forsure.

They have such an amazing mission, and I highly recommend people look into this nonprofit to learn more on how to support! This review is for their Boston store--an open, spacious thrift and book store. They have a great selection, from affordable everyday pieces to higher-end clothing (for both women and men), plus old-timey knickknacks, home goods, shoes, costume jewelry, toys, and new packaged gifts. There's so much to rummage through, and it doesn't have that musty thrift store feel--it's very well kept. We bought a bunch of things: glass cake display I had as a kid (that doubles as a fruit trifle dish), an abstract dress that was basically new (originally over $200, I snagged for $40), a metal dragon bracelet, and more. The staff is fun--they seem like friends with each other, and a few even made me feel like we were becoming friends too, loll. It's a very cool atmosphere and well staffed. If no one's at the register, there's a bell you can ring and they'll be right there. I love this place--it is one of my highlights of the South End area!
