Lela dolls launching at Sonya, Cambridge, MA

On March 30th, I had launched Handcrafted, Natural doll business. The food was delicious, fresh and so tasty.(Mediterranean diet), the service was top notch and the ambience was warm and cozy. The owner, Mr. Nabil was incredibly kind, caring and attentive, making sure every detail was perfect. I will definitely go back and highly recommend. If i can give more than five stars i would. Thank you so much Mr. Nabil. Genet/Founder/Leladolls.com

First time in Boston and the venue was perfect for the concert we attended! Would come back again!

I attended a show at Sonia and had a medical emergency. The staff did an amazing job taking care of me. They couldn't have been nicer.

Small concerts can be fun but the sound isn't great. Beer was also a bit flat though I still had a good time.

On March 9, 2018 I want to go see Halfnoise at 7:00pm here at Sonia. Do any of you know if this is a show for all ages?

I wanted to hate this venue since I loved TT the Bear's so much (TT's was the rock club that used to be in this location).

A friend recommended it to me as a fun place to dance salsa and bachata. I didn't know there were places like this in Boston. We went in and paid a cover fee at first. They start off with a class to teach basic techniques. It gave everyone a welcome feel to learn the steps and practice dancing with others. Then they open the floor for everyone to come in and dance. You are more relaxed at that point because you have learned the steps and already danced with most of the people there. It was great to meet several girls that I probably wouldn't have even talked to without the class. I love bachata so it was great to get in the moment again. The price was great for the class and a fun open dance floor afterwards. I enjoyed my time and will definitely be back next week.

There are dancers of all ages, which is very cool, and the leaders who were forced to dance with me seemed to be understanding, even though I am an awful dancer. I guess everyone is a beginner at some point! I hope to go back and improve my skills!

It can be pretty tough finding something so good luck. Seating: It's 3 floors of vibes (depending on the day) but this is no hidden gem, if you're looking for a local vibe, check this place out. Vibes: The nice touristy side of Boston, walking distance to a few scenic things. As for the spot, think Irish bar meets full-on nightlife energy. One floor might have karaoke, another has DJs, and another is just people vibing with drinks. It's lively, a little chaotic (in a fun way), and definitely a younger crowd energy. FOOD/DRINKS: Drinks are solid and pretty affordable for Boston, which is always a win. They've got everything from beers and seltzers to margaritas and cocktails. This isn't a craft cocktail lounge--it's more of a "grab a drink and keep the night going" type of place. CUSTOMER SERVICE: Great! I needed water and they provided it, no problem! TL; DR OVERALL: 5 Stars. I didn't expect to have so much fun on a Monday night (the singing, the crowd participation, the dancing). What. A. Vibe. Maybe I got lucky but I hope you get this experience when you stop by.Fun, high-energy, and perfect for a night out with friends. Not the place for a quiet drink--but if you're trying to turn up a little and keep things moving, this is a solid stop in Boston. We got appetizers to share and they were all delicious. We got the beet hummus, Vietnamese chicken tenders, and cauliflower. They were all well-prepared, flavorful, and a decent portion size for the 4 of us to share. Given the gorgeous ambiance of the place (which I thought might be their main draw), I was pleasantly surprised at how good their food was. This wasn't the best value place, but prices weren't egregious compared to similar spots. I would come back again to try more of their food options, but wouldn't choose their oyster deal over other options!

They do have an option to go an hour before the show to have brunch from the buffet which isn't bad for a buffet brunch. Only slightly better than most hotel buffet breakfasts. But it is convenient to be seated where you will be for the show and have your brunch before the show starts The show is fun and you may be picked to interact with some performers (especially if you are me who always gets selected at any show like this). Your best option is to go along and have fun. This makes it a better experience for you, those with you and everyone attending ;) Fun dancing, music and shows and even though I'm not reviewing the food options I do have to mention that they bring you water as soon as you sit and that is always one of the first things I look for at restaurants.
