They start off with a class to teach basic techniques. It gave everyone a welcome feel to learn the steps and practice dancing with others. Then they open the floor for everyone to come in and dance. You are more relaxed at that point because you have learned the steps and already danced with most of the people there. It was great to meet several girls that I probably wouldn't have even talked to without the class. I love bachata so it was great to get in the moment again. The price was great for the class and a fun open dance floor afterwards. I enjoyed my time and will definitely be back next week.

There are dancers of all ages, which is very cool, and the leaders who were forced to dance with me seemed to be understanding, even though I am an awful dancer. I would say the comedy is hit or miss depending on experience, but they want to make you laugh and that is always a good thing! The $20 cover charge for the Sunday show is too much in my opinion, and we almost didn't stay, but the gentleman at the door gave us a reduced rate which was super nice! We are coming back in a few weeks for a ticketed headliner and really looking forward to it. Wish they added some Improv shows to shake things up.

A lot of good upcoming comedians and I really enjoyed the ambiance. The crowd was a bit stiff but the front row had this ongoing banter that was fun. I would say that the staff that brought out the drinks and food were quite slow. I had to ask several times to get the menu and place my order. Took a long time but since it was a comedy show on a Sunday night and I was on vacation I didn't mind. I really liked my old fashioned drink and my hubby margarita was quite tasty as well and strong. Hey, if you were looking for something more updated, you'd be heading to the club, yeah? There's a live band and when they take breaks, there's recorded music to keep things going. It's a good workout and can be a lot of fun. People there are generally friendly and some will dance with you if you're alone. I didn't spot any creepers. Checking-in on Yelp will yield you a free drink. They have sodas, water, and juices. I came back the next week and took the free lessons again and got better. I had a blast! The next week, I brought a first date promising her a fun night of dancing. We had so much fun at the lessons together and then dancing to the amazing band, Eight To The Bar! About 2 years later, that sweet girl and I were married. You would never guess it was gluten-free. And the desserts?! Absolutely out of this world. Honestly, just go for the pasta and stay for dessert. Or better yet, make a whole evening of it!
