The only local cinema that is still affordable for families, the entrance fee is currently (as of 5/2008) $5.00 for adults, and $3.50 for children. The concessions will also remind us of our youth, with most prices for concessions under $2.00 each. The Dolby Surround system is state of the art. Restrooms are always clean, and the seats are stadium style-seating, mostly rocking chairs with ample room, with a balcony, to boot! The historical feel has been kept up, while the viewing and sound is the newest technology. Drawbacks... only one showing on weeknights (7pm), 2 on weekends (7pm and 9pm, generally)... but in a town of 1800 +/-, this is understandable. Anyway, the reason for the review is that my husband and I were well treated by the staff-everyone was professional and very friendly. Most importantly, I left my prescription glasses which must have fallen from my purse when I reached for my cellphone to make sure it was turned off prior to the movie. I knew they had to be left at the theater when I could not find them. I thought they would be thrown away but decided to go back and ask if they had a lost and found. A very nice young man asked if my glasses were all black and I said yes. He said, "Just a moment," and went and got my glasses and brought them back to me. I am so grateful. Also comes with a free bucket of popcorn for each ticket. The premium seats also have a nice small barrier wall so that way you can't see anyone from your left or right depending on the seat - these seats always come in pairs, so it's like good for dates or night outs for couples. There is a side button to turn on light but the light is pretty small and not worth using. The reclining was decent and there are plenty of cup holders for multiple drinks. Ordering was pretty simple, there is a QR code on the hand rest table which we could take a look at the menu (which you can also look from the site). Once you are ready to order, you can press on the call button. The food variety is decent, when you press call button, a person will come to take your order and payment. Food pricing can be a bit expensive depending on what you are getting. The pretzels were pretty good, you get two pieces with three types of dips. The club sandwich is pretty good. Water is a bit expensive, would recommend bringing your own bottled water if you want regular water. Overall movie experience was good, smaller size theater room but it was pretty good with lighting and sound. We watched Super Mario Galaxy and will come back in the future for more movies for sure.

Of course it was a false alarm but I appreciated the response to get everyone out and make sure it was safe. We missed the ending of our movie but we were provided passes for our next trip and free popcorn. Overall, it was a great experience on how to handle emergency situations and maintain professionalism, quality, and courtesy. I highly recommend you visit this location.
