Came here on a Sunday for a day trip from the city; it's about 1.5 hours from Decatur. Upon…read morearrival, parking may seem limited at first, but there's actually plenty available. We parked at the bottom of the venue and had to climb the stairs to the top. If you're lucky, you might catch a ride in the golf cart, but if you're seated in the back, hold on tight because it's a steep ride! We came for the Sunday brunch buffet, which features a different theme each month and never disappoints. If brunch isn't your thing, you can enjoy a wine tasting in the tasting room located below the main dining area. If you're there for brunch, you're also allowed to go back and forth between the tasting room and dining room during your allotted table time. I definitely recommend visiting any time of year; the views alone are worth the trip!

The views are stunning and the vibe feels relaxed and elevated without being stuffy. The brunch buffet ($48 per person) was good-ish, not amazing, but still enjoyable. The charcuterie board was excellent. A bit small for the price, but the cheese was top quality and really well chosen. The sparkling wine tasting was the real highlight. Unique, delicious, and absolutely worth it if you love bubbles. Service was excellent and genuinely friendly. Honestly, this is a great spot any time of year. I'd go back for the sparkling tasting and charcuterie alone.

They have a fairly large variety of wines ranging from very sweet muscadines to dry oaky Merlots. Something for everyone. The added bonus is that we were allowed to bring food because they are limited in their offerings. We were able to bring the wedding cake supplied by Alpines bakery in Woodstock. Check for yourself it's. Beautiful view of the valley and a great conversational piece with the house situated across the way. We are also entertained by live music of some country and rock. Over all a good day to wine!

Chardonnay they included was described perfectly- buttery and light. That was very tasty! The syrah and the merlot/cab blend my wife and I were not a fan of. The red blend is their best seller, which left us both a little disappointed actually. FOR PARENTS: Beyond the wine, we have read that this place is kid friendly and we would disagree. It on a hill so there isn't space for them to run around and have fun while parents can enjoy their drinks. We read that there are goats for kids to interact with but there was 1 goat and not a lot of activity. We were expecting a lot of space for our kids to explore and this was not it.

Had a fabulous dinner with girls. It was their first time experiencing the wineries of Dahlonega and Monteluce was our 3rd stop. So glad I decided to make a reservation to assure that we would have a table for sunset. The hostesses were very accommodating and kind. The sunset was absolutely stunning and the patio was very relaxing. Our meal was good but not great. Pretty pricey for the quality of food. Everything we ordered was tasty but nothing tasted amazing. For apps we had Focaccia Bread and Salads. Entrees: Salmon, Ribeye, and Pork Belly Tacos. Some of us split a bottle of Sauvignon Blanc and that was very yummy. Looking forward to a return visit to try Trattoria downstairs!

Unfortunately, the food was a major disappointment. Everything felt overpriced, uninspired, and poorly executed. The salmon crostini appetizer was very ordinary and lacked any memorable flavor. The vegetable pasta was dry, undercooked, and felt unfinished, as if the dish was missing something. The pork chop was also dry and simply prepared. For a $40 entrée, I expected much more in terms of both quality and presentation. The only dish that was fairly decent was the seared chicken, but even that didn't justify the price. To make matters worse, by 4:00 PM they had already run out of the salmon entrée, which was extremely disappointing and not something you would expect from a restaurant at this price point. For the amount you'll spend here, you can dine at many excellent restaurants in Atlanta and have a far better culinary experience. If you're planning to visit Montaluce, come for the breathtaking scenery and the wine. Just don't come expecting the food to match the setting. Honestly, I left feeling like the money wasn't well spent, and I genuinely regret spending that much on the meal.

The night before our trip, I made the mistake of reading reviews and started to feel a little skeptical, but by then, it was too late to cancel. I'm actually glad it was, because our experience turned out to be a great one. When we arrived, the grounds were absolutely beautiful and very well maintained. At check-in, we were told the last wine tour started at 5:00 p.m., and it was already 4:45. I asked if we could go the next day (Monday), and the front desk agent assured us we could, saying they were open daily from 12-6. After settling into our room, we headed to Louis' House of Bourbon. The food was decent, but the drinks were excellent. The atmosphere alone made it worth the visit. The next day, however, we found out that the wine tours and tastings were actually closed on Mondays, which was disappointing given the information we were told at check-in. Still, we didn't let that ruin our trip. We went out to a nearby steakhouse for dinner and returned to the resort for drinks at what had quickly become our favorite spot, Louis'. I have to give a special shoutout to the staff, Manny, Anya, and Cole were amazing. They were attentive, friendly, and really elevated our experience. Overall, we had a great stay and are already looking forward to coming back, especially in the summer to enjoy the pool and hot tub!
