Patty and onions were decent. Pot pie was edible, but not great. The whole thing was dry, and the crust is a quickbread crust instead of a pie crust, which made it worse. They try to make up for it by giving you an extra serving of gravy on the side, but if you know your food is dry you should fix it instead of putting a bandaid over it. The Berrock was the absolute worst. I bit into it and it just tasted like salt. I thought maybe it was a fluke so I got into the meat portion of it and took another bite. Pure freaking salt. It's like someone decided salt is the only necessary seasoning for their food. I couldn't even taste the flavor of the meat itself over the taste of salt. I ended up throwing it away after two bites. If the best this shop can do is "it's okay" then I've zero reason to come back.

For those who are not familiar, they are stuffed, chilled grape leaves with a seasoned rice mixture inside, typically with lemon juice, onions, oil, seasoning, and tomato sauce or paste. I can't speak to their exact recipe, but it tastes the closest to our homemade ones we make as a family. I have tried dozens of various businesses, restaurants, etc...simply put- this tastes like grandma used to make, and now what we make. But instead of hours of prep and labor...unless you do it as a family as a special tradition of course...stop by this place and just buy some! Rice is not over or undercooked, leaves are consistently rolled appropriately, and texture is great. Good size too! Flavor- delicious! When purchased, they are chilled and piled in a Styrofoam container. Customer service is great as well! What especially upset me was when the cashier took a bag of chips directly from my child's hands and put it back while she was looking at it. I am teaching my child to always check the expiration date before purchasing food, so there was no reason to treat her this way. Customer service should be respectful and welcoming, especially toward children. After this experience, I do not feel comfortable returning to this store. I noticed in the case they also carry cupcakes for our dogs. I ordered four cupcakes; lemon, red velvet, chocolate, and salted caramel. They were all delicious! The lemon and salted caramel cupcakes had filling on the inside, which just added to their decadence. The salted caramel was fantastic and my favorite of the four. All of these cupcakes were extremely moist, and the frosting was piled high. My kids loved the red velvet and the chocolate fudge cupcake. We saw two employees while we were there, and both of them were so nice and smiling and helpful, and answered all of our questions. I love that there were so many different drink options available. They did not do wine tasting, but you could buy wine by the glass. Even though it was warm outside, there were people sitting in the beautiful outdoor seating area while we were there. It's such a nice place and a great vibe to walk into get you a nice glass of wine with your girls after work sit back and just relax.
