While I waited for my Mediterranean pick up order, I popped in here and grabbed a few treats. This is a small grab and go bakery with gorgeous cupcakes, cronuts, turnovers and other sweet treats. I noticed in the case they also carry cupcakes for our dogs. I ordered four cupcakes; lemon, red velvet, chocolate, and salted caramel. They were all delicious! The lemon and salted caramel cupcakes had filling on the inside, which just added to their decadence. The salted caramel was fantastic and my favorite of the four. All of these cupcakes were extremely moist, and the frosting was piled high. My kids loved the red velvet and the chocolate fudge cupcake. I mean, come on was there ever a doubt kids wouldn't like chocolate? These cupcakes were a little pricey, but you can taste the value with each flavor filled bite. The Frosted Cakery also makes wedding cakes and other custom orders for your special celebrations. 4/18/25 Getting dinner! Arrived! They have a bunch of different sweets! Easter decorated sweets too! Greeted by nice worker and ordered a strawberry pizza and carrot cake cupcake. I was originally going to give Frosted Cakery five stars, and had it not been for a customer service failure, I would have. The cupcakes here are amazing; probably some of the best I've ever had. They always have 3+ vegan/df cupcake options, and because they are just vegan/df and not gf, they still taste great. I've had a lot of vegan/df cupcakes in my life, and these are in the top 2-3 in the country. Based just on taste, this place deserves five stars. Now for the customer service failure. My sister had a birthday on Monday, Dec 23. Frosted Cakery is usually close on Mondays. Because I knew we wanted their cupcakes for the birthday party on Monday though, I called to ask whether the cupcakes would last from Saturday to Monday, referencing their closure on Monday, and the person who answered said that they should if treated correctly. So, we came in Saturday and purchased cupcakes for the party. Flash forward to Monday, and I'm headed to a store nearby and notice that Frosted Cakery is open. Turns out they were open especially for the holiday, but never was this mentioned to me when I called. We could have had fresh cupcakes for the party, and while they were still fine, we would have preferred cupcakes from the same day. This seems like a pretty big customer service failure to me, so I need to take off two stars for it. Otherwise, though, everything is great about this bakery! read more

too bad there is not an option for no stars, my first time in there I was not greeted and I asked for names and DEBRA was being specifically rude to me...I had a order for a friends baby shower as of having cupcakes with little elephants on the topping and as soon as I asked for my order, Debra handed to me and they were half ass work. My personal experience: I found the cake quality at Frosted Cakery's Bullard location to be quite good for 65 dollar cake. However, my overall experience was disappointing. I purchased a birthday cake expecting it to be personalized with 'Happy Birthday,' but they couldn't accommodate that here -- a service apparently exclusive to their Tower District location. Additionally, I was surprised to find they didn't even have birthday candles available for sale.
