Everything is reasonably priced compared to expensive thrift stores in LA. The atmosphere is rich, rustic, thoughtfully and uniquely decorated but not "pretty". Perfect for me. It's mostly old wooden furniture and fixtures but there are plenty of smaller items to check out, too. If I didn't sell my truck recently, I would have easily purchased a waterfall dresser or some other large piece-- their prices are fair! There were two kind gentlemen running the place together. They genuinely welcomed me and my two grown kids, and seemed pleased to have customers. It's always great to feel valued. The three of us really had fun looking around and we did make some purchases. I have to say, I am tired of bending over backwards to make a donation happen. Hours and days of donation have become inconsistent and worse the last couple of years. I call in advance and still was turned away my last 3 attempts to donate on arrival. This last time I showed up during open hours just to find a closed sign for lunch. But no indication of this during my call in advance. Complete unprofessionalism and excuses for the lack of professionalism are never ending. It was apparent the speech of excuses to address the shortcomings has been given often. Will never donate or drive the distance to support. I can find an organization who truly wants the community engaged in their mission.
