The Green Olive Bar and Grill is one of those spots that just feels good the second you walk in--clean, modern, a little elevated but still super comfortable. The kind of place you can do a casual dinner but also low-key feel put together while doing it. We ordered a spread (because obviously ) and everything that came out was solid across the board. Nothing that had me like "best I've ever had," but honestly? Everything was good, flavorful, and satisfying. The hummus, falafel, rice plates, grilled veggies--no complaints. Plus, they actually have a decent amount of vegan/vegetarian options , which we love to see. Now let's talk about the one hiccup... Our appetizer took about 30 minutes which felt kinda wild. Our server did explain that it can happen when they're slammed with big to-go orders, so just something to keep in mind if you're starving when you walk in. BUT--shoutout to the service overall because aside from that delay, everything else was smooth, friendly, and attentive. And honestly? The real standout here is the overall experience. The area is fantastic--perfect for a little post-dinner walk, which makes this a whole evening vibe, not just a meal. Good food Great service (minus that one delay) Cute, vibey atmosphere Solid plant-based options Would I come back? Yes. Would I bring friends or make this a casual meetup spot? Also yes. It's giving effortlessly good night out energy.

Came back and second experience was equally great! Fast service. Delicious food. Great selection. Loved it. Would love to see events page updated with more belly dancers!

We walked in to an upscale dining feel. Very clean aesthetics. Very spacious. Greeted and seated by our server Makeilah. She was very friendly and did an amazing job of making us feel welcome and eager to have us there. Explained the menu and answered all our questions. The food was very good and the plates were very well served. I really enjoyed my gyro plate and the pita was nice and fluffy. I did see they also serve pizza and would like to try it. The bathrooms were very clean and it made me smile. Can't wait to go back.

We had a phenomenal experience at The Green Olive. Everything was done extremely well, in all facets of expertise. Our server was very kind, explaining to us the best-sellers on the menu and even knowing everything that was in each dish. He had patience and aptitude to succeed at his job. Our food was remarkable. We started with Trio Dips Appetizer which was such a great sampler item. We then got the chicken shawarma plate, the lamb plate, and the pappardelle pasta. All dishes were filled with so much flavor. The restaurant was comfortable, clean, and was a place that you'd want to come back to. Frankly, I'm counting down the days until we do! Cheers.

Lately my partner and I have made a point to support our local restaurants which aren't national chains. This week we chose to have our date night at The Green Olive. We went on a Thursday evening around 6pm. The restaurant is very spacious inside and there were plenty of tables available. It has been recently renovated so the inside feels new and fresh. There is great ambient lighting for a dinner service, with little table-top lamps so you can still read the menu. For an appetizer we started with the Dolmas. Neither of us had them before and wanted to try them. First impression: I wasn't expecting them to be cold. They are very flavorful however. My partner was really digging them. I enjoyed them for the most part, just took a couple for me to figure them out. For entrees I got the Mixed Grill Plate and my partner got the Lamb Chop Plate. We also got an order of the Tuscan French Fries. We both enjoyed our entrees. I was tempted to sub my salad for something else, but glad I didn't. It's a refreshing bite with a really great dressing. My partner was raving over how tender and flavorful his lamb chops were. My meats were also delicious, however my steak kabob was a tad overcooked compared to how I usually prefer my steak. The Tuscan French Fries were generously topped with garlic, Parmesan, and parsley; however they could have used some salt. For dessert we shared the Pistachio Baklava. It was great, not overly sweet but still delicious and craveable. Overall it was a great experience. We both agreed we would come back again, hopefully sooner than later!

I'd rate this 4.5 if I could. I was in the area at lunch and saw this place had great reviews on Yelp. This is located in a little strip mall with plentiful parking in a shared private parking lot on Litchfield off Camelback. I was greeted and seated immediately by very friendly staff when I arrived, and asked if I would prefer a table or booth. I was given a nice booth by the window. A cold bottle of water is brought to the table and a glass is poured for you as you sit down. Reusable silverware, and cloth napkins set the table. The menus here are great and I decided to order something off the brunch menu: - Gyro (Rating 3/5) Tender strips of lamb and ground steak gyro, tomatoes, and house tzatziki sauce. One side is included with this dish. You can choose either french fries, spicy potatoes, or salad. This is a good basic gyro with meat, tomato, and sauce in a pita. There's plenty of meat. I would've preferred more tzatziki sauce. I also had about three sharp very tiny pieces of cartilage or bone in my meat. - Tabbouleh Salad (Rating 5/5) Chopped parsley, scallions, tomatoes, bulger, lemon juice, and olive oil. I chose this as my side for the Gyro. Delicious, light and airy, fresh, citrusy tabouleh on a bed of chopped romaine. - Cherry Lemon Mocktail (Rating 5/5) I asked the server if they had any non-alcoholic cocktails and she said that the bartender could create one for me. She asked what i liked for flavor and I told her something fruity. She came back with a delicious refreshing creation on this over 100°F day. I don't know if this drink has a name, but she added simple syrup, grenadine, and lemon juice to a glass of ice and garnished with blackberries and a slice of orange. It was nice and sweet, but also delightfully sour. Service (Rating 5/5) I think 50% of the enjoyment of my lunch was having the best service. They are so attentive and friendly and accommodate your needs. Today I felt like they put in the effort and created a mocktail for me and were happy about doing it. I was checked on multiple times and the ease of paying the bill was nice. They use the Clover system and I used contactless Apple Pay. I eavesdrop on my server, chatting with some elderly woman at the table next to me and she really put extra care and consideration with them as well. Men's and women's restroom located inside for customers. There is a side patio for outdoor dining.

The Green Olive was a fantastic experience; their food is awesome! We were patiently waited on and promptly served. Zero wait time at lunch. Their pizza was amazing. Thin light tomato sauce and addictive salty mozzarella made this a tasty pie. Also, try their various paninis and greek-style fries. Great job you guys!

Well our server Eloy must have been distracted or some thing, once our food was served (which was in a reasonable amount of time) but we never saw him again, never got refills on tea, even hadn't flag down another server just to get our check. We had the mixed grill plate and the chicken shawarma plate, quanity was plentiful, flavor was lacking, was not bad, just was expecting more Mediterranean punch. Feel the meals are reasonably price for Feb of 2026 We came in on Saturday around 4pm. The place was clean and we'll organize. The booths were comfortable, the music was at a reasonable level that you could converse at your table without screaming, and you could tell they had pride in the decor. The 3 of us agreed that it would not be at the top of our list for a retry.

We stopped in on a Saturday night and were instantly impressed by how clean, spacious, and welcoming the space felt. The service was great. The menu had a lot options with plenty of dishes we'd come back for. I tried the short rib pappardelle & while you can tell they're using fresh ingredients, I found it a little dry and missing a bold, saucy flavor. BUT the bread it came with? Incredible! Crunchy, buttery, herby goodness. My friend had the salmon kabob and enjoyed their plate! They've also got a nice drink menu with espresso martinis and a $75 wine pairing that sounds like a steal for a 4-course experience. The Green Olive is definitely a spot to keep on your radar if you're looking to try something new on the west side! Food insta: @comerconsteph

Rating: 3.5/5 The Green Olive is a delightful new addition to the Goodyear/Litchfield Park scene--like a little oasis of hummus in a desert of fast food. The place is spacious enough to host a small wedding or at least a large family who can't agree on where to eat. And the Middle Eastern music floating through the air really sets the mood--like your falafel might burst into a spontaneous dabke at any moment. Now, despite the chill, casual vibe, the prices had me doing some double-takes at the menu--like, "Did this shawarma go to private school?" Compared to other Mediterranean joints I frequent (read: obsess over), this one is definitely on the pricier end. That said, the portion sizes are no joke. As a certified Big Back™, I was impressed--and also carrying a to-go box like a proud new parent. The baba ganoush and appetizers were delicious, although they, too, seemed to think they were being served in Beverly Hills. My shawarma and salad were good- would consider demolishing them again. There was a little hiccup with my brother's dish, but the staff handled it like pros--apologetic, prompt, and they even brought out a slice of limoncello cake on the house. Totally unnecessary, but very appreciated (and very inhaled). So while it wasn't exactly like stepping into a Moroccan bazaar with spice-laden air, it was a decent culinary escape. Would return to give it a second try.

Well done! The Green Olive moved into the old Ground Control building and did wonders with it! It has been opened up and brightened up. I love the new died floors and tactfully decorated dining area. They offer booths and tables as well. The owners really did a nice job here. We were welcomed and promptly seated. And while I am not especially a Greek food guy, there is something for everyone including authentic Greek and Pizza. I decided on the Pappardelle which is a stewed short rib and a wide fettuccine type noodle. It was excellent! My wife had the Gyro Plate which she liked very much! We are thrilled to have a new mom and pop in town and highly recommend The Green Olive. Ambiance-5 Service-5 Food-5

This was our first time here, we were immediately greeted and seated. Our waitress was pleasant, helpful. The Trio dip was delicious, the pita bread is soft and warm. The Spicy Feta is so good! It was my favorite of the 3 but they all were good. We also ordered the Gyro plate, meat was perfectly cooked and flavorful. My son ordered a pizza, we all enjoyed our food and will be going back.

We did a late lunch after spending a few hours at the Wildlife World Zoo. This restaurant was nice inside. The menu is kind of odd, not sure why they mix pizza with Mediterranean food. The menu is kind of small. The rice and chicken kabob were good, meat was moist and tender. The house salad was not good, swimming in a yogurt dressing and way too much garlic. The other person in my party and got the kafta and said it was greasy. The warm bread & hummus appetizer was tasty. Overall an OK experience.

The host stand felt cold and unwelcoming, and the overall energy outside was a little off-putting. To be fair, the hostess was polite when she interacted with us directly, but the first impression was not warm. Once we were seated, Miguel turned the whole experience around. Since we are vegetarian, we have to ask extra questions about sauces, stocks, and hidden meat ingredients. Miguel was extremely helpful with navigating the menu and made sure the items with meat stock were removed or avoided. That kind of care matters a lot. The food was also pretty good. I had the South of the Border Omelette, and my wife had the burrito. Both were solid, and Miguel's service made us feel taken care of instead of like we were being difficult for asking questions. Good food, excellent service from Miguel, and a much better experience once we got past the initial welcome.

Being a resident I drop in here about every five years and while consistent in their offerings, it also consistently "meh". We brought our pup and the service from Miguel was attentive and helpful even bringing a bowl of water for our pup. The location and ambiance is quiet and intimate (I suggest sitting outside when it's nice) and is much bugger than it looks. Coffee taste like Folgers and while each plate has a lot of ingredients, it doesn't have a lot of taste. We ordered the Lady Litchfield Omelette and breakfast burrito and while generous in portion the irony of the dishes was interesting. The omelette was chock full of veggies and minimal egg to wrap them, the burrito had a ton of egg and tortilla but minimal ingredients to taste. At the End of the Day I just don't feel like the experience warranted the $16+ price tag per meal. I'll come back in five more years and see if anything has changed.

We ordered chips and Gaucamole and were given something else instead. When my husband asked about it the server said we were given the wrong thing but we said it was fine and we would just keep it. We ordered food, my husband a breakfast burrito and me the chilaquiles. I had asked the server which sauce he would recommend as they offered three, and he had said the red was spicy so I chose it as I love spicy foods. It took 35 minutes for our food to come out. Once it came, my chilaquiles had green sauce on them, I stated that I had ordered red sauce and the server picked up the plate to take it back and got a little attitude with me and said I'm pretty sure you said green but ok. I then told him I'd keep it if it was an issue but he continued to walk away with the plate. He came back shortly after with red sauce and I thanked him. However, I was disappointed with my meal because I had also ordered my eggs over medium (cooked whites/runny yokes) and they were basically hard boiled with cooked yokes. The red sauce also was not even spicy but lacked any flavor at all honestly. So I was pretty disappointed. As soon as we left after eating and paying my stomach felt off, I got sick when I got home and stayed sick all night. I was fine before coming here and hadn't eaten anything else that day so I know it was from eating here. Needless to say we won't be going back here.
