Really enjoy this place as it is walkable and in a super cute village. Not sure about the parking situation but there is street parking available. We sat outside and waited a while for our server. To be fair they were very busy so I understand. Just seemed there was a favorite table the server kept going to instead of ours which got a little irritating. Food is what got us! We loved the crab items on the menu they were fantastic. The crab dip was huge! We got full after the appetizer and it came with warm pretzels. Yum!

Cane for lunch right at 11am, fast and friendly service/ we may have been the only guests there. Food was good, sauces were really good, just wish they had more vegetarian selection.

Love this new spot! You must try the crab dip with the pretzels sticks! Delicious!!!

Atmosphere was great! Lots of TVs for sports watching, great outside seating! Crab dip was so delish and so were the pretzel bites used to dip. They were the freshest pretzel bread bites I've ever had! The spice cucumber margarita was delish! Very spicy and yummy! I got 2! Totally recommend! Blackened chicken Caesar wrap wasn't blackened but it was still really good! Will def be back!

This restaurant is big -multiple rooms, a bar and patio seating. The most impressive of all is a lot of TV. Every wall of the rooms is covered by big screen TV. We came here for its famous Maryland style crab cake. It was not disappointed. We ordered a crab soup. It was a tomato broth, light, refreshing with blue crab and veget. The deviled eggs were good with sweet jam, small piece of crispy pork belly and some grugula and onion straws. The crab cake burger was excellent. We had fried sweet potato as side. The crab cake was thick, soft insdie, lightly pan fried to crispy outside. It made from lump fresh crab meat, mild seasoned, no other useless mix- in starch or veget to boost the size. The flavor was just right. The size of the cake was satisfactory. I was impressed. I haven't had such a good Maryland style crab cake in Tampa Bay. Good food, good service, comfortable, and clean sitting area made it a nice lunch experience.

The food was not desirable at all. The grilled chicken on the Cobb salad tasted like it had been warmed up from yesterday's lunch, very tough and hard. The kids Mac and cheese was horrible. The burger was decent not great. The fries were decent. The food here is NOT great! It's a shame. I really wanted to like this place!!! The service was good, once someone acknowledged us after 10 mins of waiting (we were about to leave when a waitress came up). We sat outside which was nice. This place was not busy at all; I know why now...

The longboard burger with fries. Definitely with it. Perfect combo of bbq sauce, pork, bacon, a burger and toppings. 5. A pineapple upside down cake. Everything was extremely fresh. Some of the best pineapple I've ever had. Fresh sweet cream and delicious cake. Service is good. We had a service issue that was quickly resolved. Also wait times can be long for food BUT worth it, the food is outstanding. The view is remarkable. This is a hidden gem! Highly recommended!

The hostess was pleasant when arriving and presented herself with exceptional sleek style. Someone brought me a palate cleanser drink which was rhubarb and lemongrass water. It was smooth and refreshing. The server guided me through the cocktail menu which was an exploration all its very own. I choose the cocktail called Opposite Day- Japanese whiskey, sweet Sauvignon Blanc, salted wine and roasted beets- twist on a whiskey sour but flipped! Oysters were light and fresh and the juice in the shell was precision clean. It really pops the flavors of the oyster. Yellowtail jalapeño handroll- it is designed to be eaten similar to a taco. The yellowtail was superbly fresh, the jalapeno was a mild touch to accompany the dish and didn't try to be the star. and the homemade soy sauce didn't over power the fish. Duck leg finished with a Szechuan spice and finished a pear au jus. The duck fell off the bone and was bursting with a complex blend of elegant flavors. As you check is presented they served you the tea of the day which was Hibiscus citrus Japanese tea in the most sophisticated teapot sitting on Japanese bamboo, which was a nice touch in the meal Upbeat modern music vibe Helpful, friendly weight staff that explains every item in detail as you order it, and when it brought to the table.

The entire dining area and booth is now Tanto and they have themed cocktail menus that changes seasonally. They have a small bites menu which includes handrolls! Service was good, attentive and we got a nice view of the bar where the bartenders were amazing! They were shaving down ice for the cocktails. Very cool. The seasonal menu has already changed, so I am not sure of the drinks we got lol both were fun and just okay.. mine came in a cone shape ceramic and very tart? The food was pretty good - some hits and misses. The caviar service was good but came with thin chips that break. I would recommend small pancakes. The sea bream hand rolls were good and the chirashi was very good. The karaage was good but the chive aioli was incredible. Overall cool concept but would love a bigger entree options on their menu. This would open up more patrons to visit who don't want to drop $500 for sushi

We absolutely loved going to Ciro's when they were still opened and enjoying their fresh out of the oven chocolate chip cookies amongst many other things. We saw that Jekyll offered "Ciro's Chocolate Chip Cookies" and we were so excited to one, try Jekyll, and two, gobble up some made to order cookies. So, we arrived a few minutes before our 7pm reservation, but were left standing at the entrance as other parties were shuttled right in. In fact, 10 minutes later, we were still standing there. After almost 15 minutes, we were finally escorted into the speakeasy. This was the first sign of how the evening was going to go and, honestly, we should've left after five minutes of waiting. Once seated, we were warmly greeted by Otis, who took our order for the cookies and spiked milk. When the runner brought the cookies they were neither fresh from the oven, nor warm (or gooey) like real Ciro's cookies were. Instead, they were cold, hard and broke like peanut brittle. I spoke to Otis, who immediately addressed the matter and put in another order of cookies. The second order was delivered by the manager, who claimed that he stood and watched the entire process. This was difficult for us to believe because the second batch cookies were even worse than the first batch. So, we called Otis back over, told him we were leaving and thanked him for his superior service. At this same time, a bar tender, who overheard all of this, stopped by with two complementary beverages. The drinks were the highlight of the visit along with the severs graciousness and professionalism. Jekyll appears to be a very nice place. Unfortunately, they don't make, nor serve authentic Ciro's chocolate chip cookies. Two stars for Otis and bar tender. Do better Jekyll!!

Especially when restaurants want us to pay their server's salaries with 20+ percentage tips. So I'll start with the positives... I was incredibly impressed with the inside of this restaurant. The outside... Not so impressive. The neighborhood... Not so impressive. I wasn't expecting a really nice restaurant... But then the doors opened. It's amazingly beautiful inside. If you are planning an event or want to go on a very nice date night... I recommend this place. Now the in-between part of the review. The food was good... With a few exceptions. My mother-in-law got the salmon... It looked great. One of my sister-in-law's ordered the steak and fries. She ordered it medium... It was definitely medium rare if not more on the rare side. That's the way I like a steak... But, definitely not the way she ordered it. She said it was good. My other sister-in-law ordered the fish and chips... Quite good. Definitely the star of the show so far. My wife ordered a healthy chicken dish... not worthy of commentary. My son ordered the kids cheeseburger... He said it was the best cheeseburger he's ever had. And finally the disappointing entrée... Mine. I ordered the shepherds pie. I was pretty excited... I don't think I've ever had a lamb shepherds pie. However, I still don't think I have!!! I'm not sure there was any lamb in my lamb shepherds pie. Did it taste good... Yeah. In one bite I noticed something that resembled meat. In EVERY OTHER BITE... there was nothing. I was expecting a lot of mashed potatoes... It's shepherds pie after all. I was expecting the vegetables... I got some. But, where was the meat? Quite disappointing. Summary: Great looking restaurant with overall pretty good food. Pricing wasn't too bad. Entrées were reasonably priced... But, if you use my shepherds pie as an example... I don't really know what I paid for??? The restaurant does nickel and dime you for everything! The hummus appetizer came with a few pieces of pita and a lot of hummus. Obviously, you need more pita. They charge you for it. A Coke is $4.75. Wow! We were celebrating and brought a small round cake. We got charged a cake cutting fee ($15) in lieu of getting a free dessert. The receipt looked like a receipt from CVS... It just went on forever with every nickel and dime fee they added. So would I recommend the place... I guess so. Not a strong recommendation. But, a surprisingly nice looking restaurant with decent food. Just don't get the shepherds pie.
