Tampa I've found one of the best new food spots that you have to try! Ocho tres is the perfect blend of elegance and value. I'm a burger connoisseur and this is up there with the very best and if not the best. The majority of the burgers house made from the sauce to the pickles, cheese, and patties. It's quality you can taste. The ambiance is stellar if you are a Tampa native , you'll feel right at home. The shots of Tampa are on the walls and the island bar creates a homey vibe where you can connect with the staff or fellow diners. As for the service it feels like your family here. This is a must try spot that will soon be a household name in Tampa.

Plenty of parking on the side and at back. For a Saturday night there was not a large crowd therefore service was quick and friendly. The decor was warm and modern. Each meal was made just right. We started with the ribeye empanadas which were hot and delicious. We loved the oxtail croquettes, they were made with a perfect blend. Everyone in our party enjoyed their entree. Once the owner found out we were from Miami he gave us a tres leche dessert on the house! I don't have huge sweet but I thought it was quite good. We will definitely come back when we are back in town. And I'm sure my kids will come back sooner since they live here. We highly recommend 10/10!

Absolutely amazing experience! From the moment you walk in, the ambience sets the tone beautiful, vibrant, and thoughtfully designed both elegant and welcoming. The menu is incredibly creative. Every plate we tried was bursting with flavor and executed to perfection balanced, fresh, and beautifully presented. Drinks were incredible! The service was just as impressive, attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable, making the entire experience feel seamless and special. If you're looking for a place that combines stunning atmosphere, innovative cuisine, and exceptional service, this restaurant is a must-visit. I'll definitely be coming back!

Just opened soft opening. Small menu. Grand opening in January. Food was excellent, one guy hosting cooking and serving. Super nice, grand is a great deal for having to wait. Food was all beautiful and tasty. Oxtail Croquettes we're super crispy. Gyoza we're cooked well. Hamburger and schwarma we're very good. Pickle marinated chicken wings we're unique and worth a try, Asian buffalo was a little sweet and spicy. Mac and cheese with shrimp did not disappoint. Right by I Tampa, hit it up before a game.

If you are looking for a dining experience that perfectly balances elevated technique with soulful, approachable flavors, this is the spot. From the moment you walk in, the vibrant energy sets the stage for a meal that feels like a true celebration of culinary craft. The appetizers alone are worth the trip. The oxtail croquettes are a revelation--shattering crisp on the outside with a rich, deeply savory interior that practically melts away. Following that, the pork empanadas offer a comforting, flaky crunch, packed with seasoned meat that's juicy and perfectly balanced. I also enjoyed the burger and steak. Both were cooked to the perfect temperature and were packed with flavor. The Hugo spritz is the ideal companion for the meal. It's light, floral, and incredibly refreshing. Loved the sangria as well. Make sure you save room for the dessert. Whether you're here for a special occasion or a curated night out, every bite feels intentional and expertly executed. I'll be returning to treat my staff and again for my birthday dinner.

This recent visit found all four of us wanting more of Chef Jeannie Pierola's creative and flavorful cuisine! We shared some burrata at the bar while we visited with friends and then moved to our table for a delightful dining experience. I had the coconut lime glazed black grouper which featured purple sticky rice, a red curry emulsion, pineapple jalapeño chutney & herb salad. Sharing a bite with my partner was a challenge but I played fair as he gave me a divine taste of his seared duck breast. Our friends shared the octopus tiradito and wild caught sea scallops. Not only the drinks are phenomenal, but the food is absolutely amazing. The hubs really likes the brussels sprouts here. I think they are too wet. I wouldn't order them myself. I normally like them crispy on the outside and moist in the middle and not wet. It was a weird sauce almost like Cajun, which is unusual for brussels sprouts. I still think Yeoman's has the best Brussels sprouts in the area. The onion rings here are the absolute best. The breading is flat and smooth, and the onions are thick. Places that make the crispy bumpy batter usually scratch my throat being so crispy however, the onion rings here are flat and smooth, and that doesn't happen. I like to order it with a side of beer cheese dipping sauce; it is absolutely incredible. I definitely recommend ordering a side of beer cheese dipping sauce. The drinks here are so strong. I was only able to get one since it was so strong. They are just too strong for me but very delicious. The hubs likes all of the drinks here he's tried them all. I ordered the espresso reposado martini, and I explained it to the server that I didn't want it sweet and he had a smarta$$ remark. I never saw him again after that drink hopefully, I never get that server again. He was ridiculous. The remainder of the service is absolutely incredible. Everyone is super sweet that we ordered food & rest of our drinks from. They must really enjoy their job. They're just a lovely bunch there. There are a few parking garages, but even those are a pain because people park like idiots. The parking situation isn't On Swann's fault, but it's an annoying factor. We had reservations well in advance, so we didn't have to worry about a wait. It was reasonably busy for a Saturday at brunch time. The decor and overall ambiance was classy but comfortable, which is great imo. Our server was nice and checked on us a good amount of times. The wait time between ordering our food and it coming to the table felt a bit lengthier than I would typically expect, but the food was delicious so it's hard to even complain about that. I got the short rib hash and a croissant and both items were wonderful. The croissant was flaky and buttery, it comes with a honey dip and butter on the side, would def get again. The short rib hash was also a menu item I would order again - the eggs were cooked perfectly, and I'd say I'm a little picky with how runny my eggs are. These were runny, but not TOO runny. The potatoes had a nice crisp to the outside but nice and soft on the inside, the short rib was so tender, so juicy, it was just a very well rounded, great tasting hash. This was my first time visiting On Swann for brunch, I'll be back for sure, but maybe on a weekday instead of the weekend since it seems to get pretty crowded in the Hyde Park Village area!

For one drink I switched to a pour of my favorite Angels Envy Rye (which they had for a decent price), but switched back to the old fashioned for drink number three. The appetizers were all packing big flavors and often a unique twist. The Korean crab shrimp scallion pancake was light an airy. I didn't notice a ton of seafood flavor, but it was fun to share. Next was the Korean pork belly tacos. It came with two tacos which was perfect and the flavor on these was so good. The pork belly was perfectly tender with no fatty gristle. These are a must have. The star of the show was surprisingly the Mushroom Tartine which we only ordered because the bartender recommended it. The flavor on the mushrooms was amazing and it mixed perfectly with the soft goat cheese and crunch from the sourdough. Never take this off the menu. We were seated at a super small table so it made for an uncomfortable situation with so little real estate available. Also the place looks like it's converted from a garage or something with metal walls and roll up doors that made the sound bounce around. The service was nice. We were well taken care of but they seemed to be spread thin because getting refills and getting our check took a bit longer than expected. One ssue was that the menu was very different from what was online via Google. I should have gone to their website I guess, but several items were not available and the filet I was so excited for had a very different set of items. No Brie au gratin potatoes or braised rainbow chard, citrus gremolata and a fig chutney. Now, let me say that my filet was delicious. I loved the sauce and the asparagus was good but for me, the potatoes were super underwhelming. A nice sauce or something would have made them better. They just tasted bland, were really dry and lacked any flavor. My wife expected the lamb or pork chops, they were both not on the menu. She got fish and chips which she really enjoyed, so it was a win. The Asian wings were our appetizer and were delightful too. Now the only real negative for us was the noise. We got there at 5:30 and it was fine. But as more people came in, the sound bounced around so bad that it became almost unbearable for me. I wanted to go so bad because people laughing and talking made my head hurt. Would I go back? Probably not. I didn't enjoy how loud it was. The food was very good though, so perhaps takeout would be more my speed. We had a nice meal and my leftovers were delicious later that evening.

The rest of the service was good overall. Our food came out quick. I do wish the happy hour options were explained to us when we sat down, we had to ask our waiter to explain it to us. Food: I'd say overall their food is good, it's not the best I've had in Tampa. If you want to come for a decent brunch and drinks this is a good spot. We tried the 'potato latkes' as an appetizer which was really good. I had their 'Smashburger' for my entree which was good, but I've had better. I did like their fries. The drinks were the best part! I had their 'Pink Hugo' which was really good and my friend had their 'Green Machine' which was delicious. Overall the food was good, but nothing amazing to me. Maybe I didn't order the right thing. I'd be willing to come back and try their brunch options as that seems to be what people like the most. Overall, it's a good place to come for lunch with a friend. It wasn't super busy on a weekday, so you don't need a reservation. The prices are decent, but everything in Tampa is more pricey now. **Parking Tip: they have a VERY small parking lot for customers behind the building. There is a larger gravel parking lot behind the building where you have to PAY to park. It was around $6/2 hours, I'm not sure if it's more expensive at different times. Try to look for free street parking in the area if their free lot is full before going to the paid lot! Or if you can car pool with friends do that!
