Had an amazing experience at Ocho Tres in Tampa. I actually won a complimentary dining experience for two at their booth during the Tampa Wine & Food Festival, and when I asked if I could bring another couple, they happily accommodated us, which I really appreciated. Everything about the night felt top-notch. Manny, who took care of us, was phenomenal, attentive, knowledgeable, and made sure we were taken care of the entire time. The food was very flavorful, and we chose to eat tapas-style so we could try a variety of dishes. Definitely the right move because everything hit, and we left very satisfied. The ambiance is chic, intimate, and cozy. Its perfect for a nice night out. They haven't been around long, but I really hope they're here to stay. I'll definitely be back and bringing more people with me. read more

We had a really late lunch here. They start you off with complimentary seasoned popcorn. A little stale but the seasoning was good. The food was a little salty but overall, surprisingly very good. The croquettes were ham today, and lukewarm but crunchy still. The ribeye and picanha were both seasoned well, and again lukewarm rather than hot, but cooked to a medium rare like we wanted. You get a choice of house butter which is on top or chimichurri which is on the side. The burrata was also a surprise hit with the sweet soft bellpeppers but we opted for excluding arugula given the parasite panic. read more

I came for a social event. The ambiance is great! Unfortunately, they don't have a full bar like I thought they did. Everything's wine based, beer, or seltzers. I only enjoyed one drink, which was the oche trece summer. The food is pretty good! The options are quite unique. Service was ok. Coming back from my Yelp Hiatus to talk about how INCREDIBLE this place is. Such a gem in our community, with delicious food and caring staff. My dad and I got the burrata, gyozas, wine, picanha, and veggies & carbonara sides... if the photos don't speak for themselves let me tell you: the flavors were on point. My dad thinks it's the best picanha he's ever had (and we used to live in South America). The veggies were delicious and the burrata was juicy (comes with bell peppers too). The carbonara was okay but the other dishes were top notch. Last but not least, the restaurant and deco is beautiful! It's my second time and I can't wait to be back. Tampa I've found one of the best new food spots that you have to try! Ocho tres is the perfect blend of elegance and value. I'm a burger connoisseur and this is up there with the very best and if not the best. The majority of the burgers house made from the sauce to the pickles, cheese, and patties. It's quality you can taste. The ambiance is stellar if you are a Tampa native , you'll feel right at home. The shots of Tampa are on the walls and the island bar creates a homey vibe where you can connect with the staff or fellow diners. As for the service it feels like your family here. Plenty of parking on the side and at back. For a Saturday night there was not a large crowd therefore service was quick and friendly. The decor was warm and modern. Each meal was made just right. We started with the ribeye empanadas which were hot and delicious. We loved the oxtail croquettes, they were made with a perfect blend. Everyone in our party enjoyed their entree. Once the owner found out we were from Miami he gave us a tres leche dessert on the house! I don't have huge sweet but I thought it was quite good. We will definitely come back when we are back in town. And I'm sure my kids will come back sooner since they live here. We highly recommend 10/10! read more

Just opened soft opening. Small menu. Grand opening in January. Food was excellent, one guy hosting cooking and serving. Super nice, grand is a great deal for having to wait. Food was all beautiful and tasty. Oxtail Croquettes we're super crispy. Gyoza we're cooked well. Hamburger and schwarma we're very good. Pickle marinated chicken wings we're unique and worth a try, Asian buffalo was a little sweet and spicy. Mac and cheese with shrimp did not disappoint. This place is sooo good! We ordered BOGO bacon burgers and lemon pepper wings. The wings were that fine line between crispy and juicy. Perfect seasoning, tasted like real lemon and generous amounts of pepper. The burgers were impressive! Quality products... the beef ... the bun ... condiments made for an amazing burger....
