My wife and I enjoyed our stay in May so much we're planning to return in October. The owner, Jarvis, was a great host and the property had many areas to relax and enjoy the mountain views and the historical photos and memorabilia all around. Built around 1817, they have done a great job bringing it up to date without losing its charm, meaning, it's immaculate and everything works fine! The walls are adorned with local art for sale and each room has its own name and character. We stayed in the Juliet and Romeo; the ladies are listed first on each door; a wise move. While there's not a lot to do in Greenfield, New Hampshire, it's all within a few doors of the Inn. Mi Corazon is an excellent Mexican restaurant two doors down; great food, margaritas, and Saturday night karaoke was a blast. Harvest Market, two more doors down, has everything plus locally sourced products from produce to craft beers and specialty foods. The church from the 1700s is across the street but Sunday we stayed behind enjoying the breakfast spread and Keurig coffees. This is a beautiful part of New Hampshire that has kept its charm. The church bell still chimes on the hour in this small town even as time itself seems to slow down. read more

Absolutely lovely place located conveniently to everything you might want to do while visiting the area. An old school inn that comes with a full breakfast and a relaxing atmosphere. We actually enjoyed staying in our room on the days when it was pouring rain. On nice days, the porch was a great place to read and relax. Our hosts were friendly, and it was nice to meet some other travelers over breakfast. We will definitely stay here again the next time we are in the area. read more

Wandered in off season and with no reservation. Jarvis, the owner, could not have been more pleasant and helpful. He let me take the choice of rooms, even offered to clean out one he'd been working on so I could use it (I opted for the room w/jacuzzi tub, a definite plus). Gorgeous location, quiet and lovely. Huge porch with comfy chairs- perfect to take dinner outside and read. There's a nearby Mexican place that had a full parking lot- did not try it, but it's a short stroll from the B and B. Bed in the room was plush and comfortable. Totally worth the stay, highly recommended. read more

Very comfortable accommodations and convenient for visiting family. Gorgeous old house with fascinating history. Disappointed that during a pandemic, soap was not supplied. An oversight, I'm sure. But an important one. Disappointed that I was woken up at 1230am from people yelling outside and loud music. Apparently, renters in the back apartments. read more

Spent my birthday evening here, definitely reccomend calling as opposed to internet booking; I think the owners are still figuring that part out. This may be the cleanest old farmhouse B&B I've ever been in! Each section of it is tacked with charm, as the owners have left lovely little notes about the place to answer your every question. Breakfast was served in a buffet style, with a quiche-esque pan of eggs cheese and bacon. Also served are juice, muffins, and some other stuff none of it exactly hot off the griddle, but certainly tasty. The owners Barbara and Vic are very nice and well humored. If you'd like a great price on a comfortable charming New England farmhouse B&B, this is well worth it. We stayed in the Juliet and Romeo room. read more

Rooms are comfortable and clean. Bed linen is so soft. Shower was superb and the hot water plentiful. Atmosphere was comfortable and welcoming. Wrap around porch provided an excellent place for coffee and socializing. Owner was exceptionally hospitable. I was greeted immediately and felt very welcome. Will be staying here again! read more

Stayed here for a race series, and I can't say enough good things about this B&B. First, a whole bunch of racers filled the place, and John and Ken, the proprietors, couldn't have been more accommodating. They made us breakfast at 5:30am, so we could eat before the start of the race. The house is full of charm, my room was very comfortable, my bathrooms had all the modern conveniences while still retaining its character. Lots and lots of hot water too!! I spent a very nice long weekend here one autumn with my boyfriend. We had a wonderful time. The innkeepers cook up a great breakfast - especially the egg and cheese souffle. I have their recipe and have made it many times for brunches and special occasions. The inn itself is cozy and very cute - lots of antiques (some of which are for sale). Our room was very comfortable and had a jacuzzi in it, which was very nice to have after a long hike at Mount Monadnock. They are close to Mt. Monadnock, as well as a smaller state park, which was very lovely - there was a small lake, and lots of wooded paths. It was also nearby Keene and the shopping there, as well as a few farms that had apple picking. The innkeepers were very friendly and hospitable and made us feel comfortable and at home. I'd definitely like to come back. read more

We booked a place that didn't go out well, a frustration night. We didn't want to ruin it for the kids and go back home. My husband found something nearby Mt Rd. He called the Greenfield Inn. I'm so, so, glad they have an available room with a kitchen that accommodated all of us. Love, Love this place. The host was amazing. Whatever we need she's there to answer our questions. I told her that I would go back there again. Near Crotched Mt and 30 minutes away from Pats Peak. Best host ever. read more

The owners are elderly but very sweet. The husband is very hard of hearing so speak loudly. Upon arrival there is no front desk, just a note and key with explanation or where to where your room can be found. The voilet room we stayed in was very quaint but the window air conditioner didn't cool the room at all but made lots of noise. Opening the heavy window kind of did the trick. The bed was concave and almost like a hammock and squeaky. The bed may have been 18 years old so I didn't sleep much. The place is very cute, there are little hand written notes placed everywhere with tips on what to do when using the restrooms (public or private) and information on where to find coffee and water; which I found odd but helpful. The breakfast is always the same every time I have stayed there. Fruit, muffins, o.j. and egg and ham sufflet. (Spelling?) The breakfast table is one round large family dining table. Which I liked, very aligned with the older Victorian farm house that it is. Very clean and antique-unique is how I would describe it. read more

When we stayed at the Greenfield Inn the management had recently been taken over by a lovely young couple. Not only was the house adorable and the breakfast delicious, but they were very kind and refunded part of our stay when our plans changed last minute over the Christmas weekend. We will definitely be staying here the next time we are in New Hampshire, cannot recommend highly enough. read more
