Huckleberry stuffed French toast - DELICIOUS
    Paul M.

Had a great experience today! Came at 7am, right as they opened. John A welcomed me in and was my server. He was very friendly and attentive. Ordered the stuffed French toast with huckleberries. Texas toast was used for the French toast and cream cheese and huckleberries spread between the two slices of bread. Ordered a latte and they use quality expresso beans. Always thrilled when a breakfast spot has the full espresso menu (and not just coffee). Everything was delicious. Inside is nicely decorated. I think this is a chain but they don't have any locations where I live in Seattle, which is too bad because this is a good breakfast spot!!!

It's been a while since I have been to this Griddle location but we sure did have such a great experience there today. A couple of my friends and I met for breakfast today. It wasn't super busy so I grabbed a table. A server cane, dropped off menus and grabbed my drink order. She got me all squared away and Leah took care of me till my friend is showed up. After everyone got settled and looked over the menu, we worked on our fresh orange juice and coffee. The Griddle will always have the best Oj in town. It's hard not to suck down the whole cup in one gulp. The coffee was hot and fresh. For breakfast I got 2 eggs and bacon. The eggs were fried nicely. My hashbrowns were crispy on the outside and soft in the middle, my favorite. I got 3 slices of bacon that was crispy and salty. I also got a side of country gravy for my hashbrowns. I like that their gravy isn't so thick, it had a great consistency to it. Everything was delicious! Leah did a great job taking care of us. My third friend was running late but Leah checked up on us. Had our coffee cups filled and took our empty plates away to give us more space. I will have to say, this location has the best staff. Compared to the other locations, The Griddle Park Center is fantastic.

Well we have been here twice, and this two times we had felt like they are racist toward us, don't get me wrong the food was amazing is pretty good, but the service was awful, we couldn't even get a water, I get it they are busy but our waiter would go check on every other table except us and when we finally get to order our drinks we had to do it with another waiter and he gave us an attitude as well, idk we didn't feel welcome over there by the staff, as soon we got the food they gave us our bill even tho we wanted to order more they didn't ask us, and like I said every time we wanted to get something those two times that we went we would get ignored or get help with an attitude :/ I just don't think that's okay and it mades us feel uncomfortable

It's always busy here and for good reason. It's a classic breakfast spot with really solid specials and a classic breakfast menu. Lively but not too loud inside. I'd say it's somewhere between a nice upscale restaurant and a greasy spoon.

When we arrived, the line appeared to be long, but we were seated in less than five minutes. I ordered the quinoa, chorizo, and egg tostadas meal along with a hotcake. It was delicious! I would definitely come back the next time I'm in town!

Chilaquiles with over medium eggs & pork. Delicious.

Hubby & I were in town for fun, short weekend. We showed up for Sunday brunch at 11:30, had a 20 min wait. We asked for an outside table, which was perfect. I started with a VERY good Bloody Mary followed by chilaquiles with red sauce & over-medium eggs. Delicious! Hubby had a good iced tea, raspberry stuffed french toast that was good (I would have preferred the raspberry sauce more tart). He said the chuck patty he ordered on the side was very good. Service is not fast, but worth it. Total time from arrival was 1 hr 20 min.

We were in town from California with 16 girls for a soccer tournament on Mother's Day weekend. We descended on this cute little breakfast place to get the girls fed before their game. The staff was so accommodating and got us in and out in under an hour. No easy task when seating and serving up such a large group! Staff set up tables and chairs, took our orders and maybe 15 minutes later, everyone was getting served their meals. The food was delicious and tasty! I was so surprised because I totally expected a long wait given it was Mother's Day and brunch time. Thank you to the staff for getting us fed and to the field on time. We won our game too!

Have you ever returned to a restaurant and think to yourself, "Why in the world have I not come…read moreback here sooner." That is the thought I had when we sat down at Moe Joe's. This place is phenomenal and seriously one of the best breakfast places in all of Idaho. I hesitate to say that because there can definitely be a wait because of its popularity, but facts are facts. My wife and I went to Moe Joe's for breakfast recently and man was it good. I ordered the chicken fried steak and was stunned at the amount of food. Where to start. The steak was incredibly tender and enormous. The homemade biscuit was flaky and perfectly baked. The sausage gravy was meaty and flavorful. And the crispy hashbrowns seemed to cover half the plate. Then there are the house-made jellies. Who does that and how can I get more! The service was prompt and friendly with a great wait staff that made everything easy. The vibe of the restaurant is "friendly neighborhood spot" and feels like home. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. These folks know how to do breakfast right and I cannot wait to go back.

Our server Audrey, deserves a medal -- total sweetheart, total pro, and unfazed by a swarm of kids. I went for the salted caramel banana bread French toast, and wow. Thought it wouldn't fill me up, but it absolutely did... plus I sampled half the table because everything looked too good not to. Marlene's Loaded Idaho Potato Nachos? Spicy, bold, and ridiculously tasty. Coffee? Strong and smooth. The prices were so low I thought they misprinted the menu, and then the portions came out and confirmed we'd officially scored. Of course it's our last day in Idaho and we finally find the best breakfast spot.

And after finding out that Blue Bench Brunchette and Biscuits and Hogs were all affiliated, I made a point not to spend a dime at any of those businesses. I recently found out that Blue Bench is under new management. Knowing that this joint has new owners, I was totally down to give it a shot. New management means new expectations and service. I was done doing labs at the hospital. I told my husband let's go get breakfast and we made our way in. I love love love how darling this venue is. It's bright, fun and girly. I adore the decor. It's a smaller venue so the space is cute and dainty. Even though it's a smaller venue, tables and booths are nicely spaced out. You're not on top of each order. I can imagine this place being crazy on the weekends so I'm happy we decided to try this place out on a Monday. It was chill. Our server got some coffee and apple juice started for us while we looked over the menu. Everything looked so good! For brunch my husband got the Brunch trio. He picked cinnamon roll French toast, a cinnamon roll and some eggs. I got the sunrise sampler with cinnamon roll French toast. I had to try a little bit of everything. I also snagged a side of country gravy for my potatoes. Food came out really fast and it all looked fantastic! The cinnamon roll French toast was so fragrant. My husband's cinnamon roll looked divine. And the sunrise sampler was all about business! It was hearty! If you ever eat here, the cinnamon roll French toast is a must! It's crispy on the outside topped with butter and cinnamon sugar dust. The inside is soft and warm. Killer good! I did take a bite of my husband's cinnamon roll. It was mehhh. But I think if it was served warm, it would have been that much better. It was cold, dry and stiff. The bacon and sausage on my plate were cooked perfectly! My eggs were great and the potatoes were tasty! I do wish that the country gravy was not lumpy. I couldn't get over the lumps in the gravy from it sitting. I had about a couple spoons of it and couldn't eat it. It looked esthetically displeasing. Breakfast was good. Aspen did a decent job taking care of us. The venue is super charming. But the cinnamon roll was cold and honestly tasted like it wasn't freshly baked. The country gravy was lumpy and not very hot. It sucked to pay for a side of it and not enjoy it. I had the French dip sandwich with a side of tomato basil soup. The sandwich was delicious and tasted homemade in the best way. The "meat" of the sandwich was seitan. I don't THINK it was a perfect meat replica (but I've never had a real French dip), but it was very flavourful. I loved the flavour and the thick cut of their bread, but it didn't have much structure and fell apart easily as I was eating which made the sandwich very messy. The tomato basil soup was a little different. It was slightly creamy but brothy and a little chunky - not a smooth puree. Again, it tasted great and was nice and light, which was a good contrast to the very rich sandwich. It was a little slow, especially considering they weren't that busy. I didn't really mind since I wasn't on a schedule, but this is something to be aware of - don't come here for a quick meal. Not cheap, but worth it for the quality.
