Special= Breakfast Sandwich w Ham, bacon was added fluffy eggs gouda cheese with a side of crispy hashbrown. 10/10

This is special kind of place. These were some of the nicest humans in the restaurant business. Food is even better! They've won best Breakfast in town for years. I know why. The customer service and the food were fantastic. Desire was our waitress. Kind lady! She took great care of us. One more thing the Fry bread that you get to start with is a nice surprise. Delicious! I did a BYO plate with an Egg, smoked bacon to die for and hash brown cake that was amazing! My honey tried the Country Beni with The breakfast sandwich special. Wow everything was so good. Nothing bad to say about this place except I need a bigger appetite. Keep up the great work ya'll are doing here!

Hangover hash with bacon, green onions, and jalapeños. Added an egg too!

So good! Portions are huge be aware. If you like bacon you 1,000% gotta try theirs. Service was great, wait was about 30-45 mins for a Saturday morning. They dropped off a fresh scone, wow. New favorite spot out here, definitely recommend!

Egg Mann and Earl is a quirky breakfast spot that I was lucky enough to try on my last trip to Boise. In all honesty, I think they may have been around when I lived in Boise but somehow I never made it by. I'm so glad that changed! They are serving up some seriously hearty and delicious breakfast bites in here! Also? The coffee isn't half bad either! For my entree, I got their huevos rancheros, which was saucy, flavorful, and came with ample slices of avocado. The prices are reasonable and our server was friendly and attentive throughout our experience. Get to it!

This is one of those places locals LOVE and outsiders like me discover thanks to YELP!!! If you have only one breakfast in Boise, ID this is the place to go!!! Wish they opened earlier and I think A LOT of people do to. I came two minutes after they opened and joined a pretty long long (that moved quickly and I was seated in minutes. Host asked if I had been here before (I had not) and told me I was in for a real treat! She wrote my name on a tiny white board and handed it to my server. Server did a great job getting to know me and went over the menu. Fun menu with lots of options. They make most everything from scratch and use fresh quality ingredients. I went with the Country Benedict and added bacon bits on top. Order was HUGE and I could only eat HALF. Server told me I could have asked for a "half order." While waiting for my order my server dropped by with a free hot "scone." I didn't think it was a scone (more like a Mexican "sopapillas" but it was hot and delicious and I polished it off! Inside is fun and eclectic. Cute places to take photos. Egg man is really a thing in Boise and I would highly recommend a visit!

    Fun atmosphere!

Incredible service and delicious food in a funky and fun atmosphere. Our group ordered a variety of foods and everything was over the top scrumptious and easily could've been shared. The bacon is a must! Gluten-friendly options! If you can go on a weekday, it's recommended. Weekends can be challenging to get in.

Egg Man and Earl has set the bar incredibly high for any other place in the treasure valley for me. Their food is delicious and from an awesome scratch kitchen. The staff are ALWAYS incredibly friendly and welcoming, and they even write your name on a little welcome placcard on the table. This time I had the pleasure of getting the father's day menu, which includes quite literally the best chicken fried steak I've ever had. The only negative from the whole visit is that I can't order the fried chicken every time

They have some pretty neat things to look at in the waiting area.

Egg Mann and Earl has been on my go to list for a hot minute. It's not the closest to where we live but we made the drive over. Waking in, I was pretty surprised at all the fun and funky decor. I didn't know what to expect but what I saw very unexpected. It was a pretty cool waiting area. All these different and fun things to look at. You couldn't be bored in that kind of waiting area. Too much stuff to play with. Our server greeted us at the hostess stand. She asked for our names which threw me off since there wasn't a wait. Come to find out, she wrote our names on a little erase board. I thought it was pretty cool! We got sat at a neat booth. There were drawings and different wall art all over. The dining area is just as crazy and fun as the waiting area. Random art work, signs and different dining sets. Chase, our server, guided us through the menu and grabbed our drinks. Coffee was on point today. For breakfast I ordered the Country Benedict. My daughter got the Huevos Racheros with a side of hashbrowns. While we were waiting for our food, we were given a complimentary scone. The scone came out hot! It was coated in cinnamon, sugar and powdered sugar. That baby was delicious! It could have used a dab of butter but without the butter it was still yummy. Shortly after we finished our scone, our food came! Holy cow, my Country Benedict was massive! My daughter's huevos rancheros looked delicious! The hashbrowns were a pretty golden brown. It all looked good! Digging into my meal, one word to describe it is dense. The biscuits was huge but very dense. And then you add a very thick country gravy on top which made it overwhelming thick. I might have enjoyed it if the gravy wasn't so thick. The sausage was savory. My eggs were cooked perfectly. But with all of our combined, it was just too much. Chase did a great job serving us today. She was very attentive and sweet. The restaurant itself is so fun and different. It's not your typical breakfast joint which makes it that much more neat. Overall, it wa a fun experience! I really wish the food would have hit the spot for me but maybe next time I can get something different.

I went with a group of regulars to enjoy a wonderful meal. The scone was delicious! The special of the day was Chicken Fried Chicken and Waffle. I've tried this at other places before and it was always okay. Egg Mann and Earl's dish was excellent!!! The meal covered a large plate completely. The chicken was so tender and tasty and the waffle was beyond delicious!!! One other member of the group had the same thing and we both left with enough food for additional meals!! Thank you Jeannie!!

    BOMB FOOD.

Food- yes. So good! The bacon was the best I've ever had. Not oily, dry and crispy. Service - our server was amazing. She was so attentive and great with conversation. Ambiance - the home-y perfect vibe for breakfast food. If I lived in Boise, probably would come here 3x a week.

Okay, stop what you're doing and head to Eggman. The food and service is above and beyond. Expect a line on weekends, but it's worth it. Our waiter Chase was delightful.

    Any outside seating?

No, they're in a strip mall with a small sidewalk outside. There's just not room for it.

Will there be a wait as soon as they open on a Saturday? Or does it get busy at 8:30-9?

Get here early if you can! But worth the wait if you decide to sleep in😂

Do they have Bloody Mary's or Mimosa's?

Yes, they have just launched mimosas!!

Do they have gluten free bread options?

This place is phenomenal and seriously one of the best breakfast places in all of Idaho. I hesitate to say that because there can definitely be a wait because of its popularity, but facts are facts. My wife and I went to Moe Joe's for breakfast recently and man was it good. I ordered the chicken fried steak and was stunned at the amount of food. Where to start. The steak was incredibly tender and enormous. The homemade biscuit was flaky and perfectly baked. The sausage gravy was meaty and flavorful. And the crispy hashbrowns seemed to cover half the plate. Then there are the house-made jellies. Who does that and how can I get more! The service was prompt and friendly with a great wait staff that made everything easy. The vibe of the restaurant is "friendly neighborhood spot" and feels like home. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. These folks know how to do breakfast right and I cannot wait to go back.

Thought it wouldn't fill me up, but it absolutely did... plus I sampled half the table because everything looked too good not to. Marlene's Loaded Idaho Potato Nachos? Spicy, bold, and ridiculously tasty. Coffee? Strong and smooth. The prices were so low I thought they misprinted the menu, and then the portions came out and confirmed we'd officially scored. Of course it's our last day in Idaho and we finally find the best breakfast spot.

And after finding out that Blue Bench Brunchette and Biscuits and Hogs were all affiliated, I made a point not to spend a dime at any of those businesses. I recently found out that Blue Bench is under new management. Knowing that this joint has new owners, I was totally down to give it a shot. New management means new expectations and service. I was done doing labs at the hospital. I told my husband let's go get breakfast and we made our way in. I love love love how darling this venue is. It's bright, fun and girly. I adore the decor. It's a smaller venue so the space is cute and dainty. Even though it's a smaller venue, tables and booths are nicely spaced out. You're not on top of each order. I can imagine this place being crazy on the weekends so I'm happy we decided to try this place out on a Monday. It was chill. Our server got some coffee and apple juice started for us while we looked over the menu. Everything looked so good! For brunch my husband got the Brunch trio. He picked cinnamon roll French toast, a cinnamon roll and some eggs. I got the sunrise sampler with cinnamon roll French toast. I had to try a little bit of everything. I also snagged a side of country gravy for my potatoes. Food came out really fast and it all looked fantastic! The cinnamon roll French toast was so fragrant. My husband's cinnamon roll looked divine. And the sunrise sampler was all about business! It was hearty! If you ever eat here, the cinnamon roll French toast is a must! It's crispy on the outside topped with butter and cinnamon sugar dust. The inside is soft and warm. Killer good! I did take a bite of my husband's cinnamon roll. It was mehhh. But I think if it was served warm, it would have been that much better. It was cold, dry and stiff. The bacon and sausage on my plate were cooked perfectly! My eggs were great and the potatoes were tasty! I do wish that the country gravy was not lumpy. I couldn't get over the lumps in the gravy from it sitting. I had about a couple spoons of it and couldn't eat it. It looked esthetically displeasing. Breakfast was good. Aspen did a decent job taking care of us. The venue is super charming. But the cinnamon roll was cold and honestly tasted like it wasn't freshly baked. The country gravy was lumpy and not very hot. It sucked to pay for a side of it and not enjoy it. I had the French dip sandwich with a side of tomato basil soup. The sandwich was delicious and tasted homemade in the best way. The "meat" of the sandwich was seitan. I don't THINK it was a perfect meat replica (but I've never had a real French dip), but it was very flavourful. I loved the flavour and the thick cut of their bread, but it didn't have much structure and fell apart easily as I was eating which made the sandwich very messy. The tomato basil soup was a little different. It was slightly creamy but brothy and a little chunky - not a smooth puree. Again, it tasted great and was nice and light, which was a good contrast to the very rich sandwich. It was a little slow, especially considering they weren't that busy. I didn't really mind since I wasn't on a schedule, but this is something to be aware of - don't come here for a quick meal. Not cheap, but worth it for the quality.
