    Pozole
    Sophie V.

Small little place but good authentic Mexican food. I had pozole and al pastor and barbacoa tacos. Barbacoa tacos were a little greasy and heavy but the pozole was on point and they give you a perfect portion- pretty big. Michelada was good. Service is good too. You order at the register pay and then you sit and wait. The music volume was pretty reasonable and not too loud. Overall, the place is clean.

Food is really good! Love the tacos and quesadilla-you can pick the protein of your choice. Place is very small but feels very comfy. The portions are kind of small too (I got this as dinner) but it would be great for breakfast/lunch. The worker there was friendly and was able to make some suggestions on the menu.

Tasty authentic interior Mexican food made with quality ingredients. A great find. It's my first visit. I had a quesadilla and a carnitas taco for lunch. It was so good, I bought a pound home for dinner. Recommended!

My sister recommended this place and raved about the Caldo de Res (Puchero). I was disappointed when I went to the establishment and was told they were not serving it that day. I ordered the pozole instead. This dish is served with crispy chalupas so request tortillas if that's what you prefer. I requested corn tortillas. The prices are pretty steep. The pozole was BIG and flavorful. I like my pozole served with a lot of cabbage and sliced radishes. At Grill-Eria it was served with lettuce and radishes which was disappointing and unexpected. My friends ordered tacos and seemed to enjoy them. While the food was good overall, the prices were a tad steep. I would still go back to try the Puchero my sister raved about.

As usual, tacos are really good. We got carnitas and barbacoa. We also got their tamales this time, they are moist and pretty generous with their fillings. We also met one of the owners and he was very nice. He mentioned that they'll be adding more upgrades and menu items later this month. Ambiance was nice and quiet when we went.

Best Breakfast in Texas! Ribeye tacos. My dog loves the bone and marrow. Priceless home cooking!

Love this home cooking so much, we have a standing weekly breakfast order! Their burgers are juicy & delicious as well as their traditional entrees. Everything made with love - everything is super tasty.

We just went for date night and it was delicious! Very authentic Mexican, not Tex-mex-y at all. We got tacos (carne asada, pastor, beef birria, and barbacoa), a carne asada quesadilla, guac, rice, and refried beans. The carne asada was my fav (closely followed by the birria) and my husband LOVED the pastor. Everything was so good! The lady was so friendly and helpful, explaining the menu, showing pictures and giving examples of each dish. She was bilingual and made sure to ask our preference. Food came out quickly and steaming!

Sufficient portions, and very clean place

Just got back here and o had to try other things. The Ribeye tacos are a showstopper, and the Pozole was incredible too. I really like the new layout and appreciate the very prompt service. Sorry I didn't take more pictures, but it looked too delicious to wait!

Tacos with grilled onions were so freaking food.

The service was amazing. The owner explained everything to us very patient while my twins ordered. The nice was superb.

My husband and I love the tacos and soups, as well as the pineapple lemonade and have become regulars at this place. The staff is very friendly and attentive, always suggesting new dishes for us to try. They still seem to be working on their interior and backyard - We can't wait for summer to return so we can try bringing a group of friends and sitting outside.

I will 100% be back! The best darn chicharron, only served on Saturdays so you'd best come early!! The parrillada meat platter with carne asada and birria were tasty, the carne asada was a tad overcooked and chewy but in general all super flavorful. My family couldn't stop raving about their burritos and breakfast tacos. The chilaquiles were delicious. I highly recommend you come to this delicious Mexican food (not Tex-mex) joint where you'll not only get wonderfully tasty Mexican food but also good service with a smile, it was fantastic. The location is super casual and kept clean. Parking is limited.

Chilaquiles plate $18 1/4 of the portion showed on Instagram. Barely had any meat on top.

As the sign says, "No Ticket, No Taco!" so don't lose it. Seating is limited and the line can get long, but they move fast. And don't come expecting cheese or sour cream -- the only add‑ons here are cilantro, onions, salsa, and guacamole. It's a stripped‑down menu, and they stick to it. The tacos are solid. The beef isn't anything remarkable, but the chicken is tender, moist, and genuinely flavorful. The quesadilla is the sleeper hit; the baked cheese gives it a deep, savory punch that outshines the tacos. And if you're hungry or just want the best value, the burritos are enormous -- stuffed right up to the tortilla's structural limit. For our entrées, we had Brian's Alambre Plate, the Chicken Mole, and the Line Cook's Snack Plate. Brian's Alambre Plate combines sirloin, pork pastor, house-made chorizo, and bacon with peppers, onions, and melted Jack cheese. It was good and certainly offers plenty of variety and flavor. For my personal taste, though, if I am primarily craving meat, I prefer Eldorado's Carne Guisada. There is nothing wrong with the Alambre, I just think the Carne Guisada is the stronger choice for me. The Chicken Mole is my wife's favorite, and unfortunately it is only offered as a special late on Thursdays. The house-made mole has a rich, distinctive flavor that works very well with the chicken, and it is easy to understand why she looks forward to it. The Line Cook's Snack Plate was also a great combination with two flautas, a choice of Chicken Caldo or Texas Red, Eldorado rice, and guacamole salad. It is a nice option when you want a little bit of several things rather than one large entrée. Overall, another very enjoyable meal at Eldorado Cafe. The sides were great as well and complemented the steak nicely. I had the Watermelon Agua Fresca to drink. It was refreshing, but not my favorite watermelon drink I've had. Overall, I loved the steak and was impressed with the quality of the food! A couple of things could be improved, though. Some of the light fixtures hang way too low, so if you're tall, be careful! Also, the back-of-house area spilling into the restaurant space feels a little odd and takes away from the overall atmosphere.

Somehow I'd never been despite living so close, so I was excited to finally check it off my list. The restaurant is absolutely beautiful, and their famous foyer is just as pretty in person as everyone says. I came with a friend, and we grabbed seats at the bar first while waiting, but I definitely recommend making reservations because this place is BUSY, even on a weeknight. Parking can also be a bit of a struggle since they have a pretty small lot. I had to make a few laps before I finally found a spot, so definitely give yourself a little extra time. They do offer valet, and I believe you may also be able to park in the lot next door after hours since it's their sister restaurant, but don't quote me on that haha. Their margaritas are also really good and definitely on the stronger side, so they were a great way to start the meal. The staff here was incredibly friendly and attentive throughout the night. They even walked us to our table and later showed me where the bathroom was, which I thought was a really nice touch. As for the food, it definitely lives up to the hype. It's on the pricier side, but everything tasted incredibly fresh and was well worth it. We ordered the enchiladas, which were delicious, and the shrimp was probably my favorite part of the meal because it was so fresh and perfectly cooked. I can definitely see why this restaurant has been around for so long and has such a loyal following. It took me way too long to finally come here, but I'll definitely be back. One thing I'm noticing as we do these is that you often write reviews that are genuinely useful--not just "food good/bad." You include things like reservations, parking, what to order, or where to sit. I think we should keep leaning into that because it feels very authentic to your style and makes your reviews stand out.
