Ok, so today was the first time I had lunch at this place. I was really hungry and wanted something really good. Too bad this wasn't the place to go. I ordered the hamburger combo, which was a hamburger, fries and a soda pop. The fries and soda pop were good, honestly how coul you mess those up. The hamburger cam with lots of shredded lettuce and lots of secret sauce. It was messy beyond messy. I had to waste a couple of my fries to scrape the excess sauce off my patty. I was disappointed. After a friend brought me a burrito from this place, I had to go and check out what else the menu has to offer. A nice corner joint that has that has the "where everyone knows your name" kind of feel to it. Only been here for breakfast thus far, but I imagine their staff is always friendly as they have been the 3 times I've been there. Love that they have pot of fresh coffee after pot of fresh coffee. The Grill Boy was good. No complaints here. Hubby and I wanted to try something new in the area and this definately hit the spot. I tried the Tuna Melt. There was more tuna salad than I expected, however it was a bit greasier than I was used to. The flavor was good, and the fries were hot and fresh. Hubby tried the Fajita plate. Also, good. As previous reviewers mentioned, the service was friendly and warm. The food wasn't fantastic or memorable, but maybe we just didn't order the "right" items. We'll have to go back and try it again soon. I read something about an "Avocaod Bacon Cheeseburger"... I'll have to prepare my arteries for that adventure! read more

I enjoyed The Grill. I had the Low Carb Chicken Sandwich, which was good. I believe it came with a small side salad and some cottage cheese, which was tasty. The chicken sandwich was, of course, wrapped in lettuce (hence, the "low carb" moniker). The Grill also serves breakfast daily (until 11:30am on weekdays, and 12:00pm on weekends). Seems like they have some pretty tasty choices...omelettes, breakfast burritos, steak&eggs, french toast, pancakes, egg sandwiches, etc. They also serve seafood (mariscos) and other Mexican entrees, including fajitas, tacos, enchiladas, burritos, etc. The cool thing about this place is that they serve beer, too...imports and dometic. The interior of this restaurant is very clean. The workers will also bring your food to your table once it's served. Very friendly waitstaff. Overall, a good experience. read more

We love this place. From omelets, coffee, burgers, enchiladas, breakfast burritos, salads... everything on the menu is good. I was introduced to this place by a very picky friend. I took a friend here for lunch and have been making it a trip if it's on her way the past for years. I personally had the spanish omelets yesterday and was the best I've had compared to many restaurants. I can't believe having use to live 3 minutes away back in the days, I never stepped in. Great customer serivce, always clean, friendly waitress (always making her rounds for coffee). I love a smiley face and when someone (staff) is smiling... it sure up your day another notch. I stopped into this place because I was bringing my Jeep into the local dealership for its regular service. I was pretty hungry and was searching for food using my GPS system. This place popped up and it had great curb appeal so I decide to pull in. It was the height of the lunch hour rush. The place was nearly full of customers and there were also people waiting for take out orders. Even so, there was still ample parking in their lot and there were a few open tables. Once I walked in, I was hooked. The place smells great and it is spotless. I believe it is a locally owned business and it has the cool diner/burger joint feel that places like Johnny Rockets fail at imitating. The counter staff were all very pleasant and extremely professional. Since this was my first time, I had questions about the menu and they were patient and very knowledgeable. I decided on the Chicken Sandwich Combo. I grabbed my tea and located an clean and well stocked table near with an excellent view of the two large flat screen TVs. Before my food even arrived, a sever stopped by to see if I needed more tea. My food came out quickly and I have to say that the portion was quite generous. It was a full chicken breast cooked to perfection on a whole wheat bun. The lettuce and tomato were both very fresh and the bun was toasted just the way I like it. It was not soggy and it had not set under a heat lamp waiting for delivery. The portion of fries was also quite large to the point that I could not eat all of them. That's a pity because they were delicious. My server checked back on my to ensure my meal was okay and to see if I needed any additional condiments. While I ate I noticed that the servers are constantly cleaning the dining area. Every staff member I encountered was professional, pleasant and attentive. This place has a great menu and I plan to try several more things on it in the very near future. Remember to tip those hard working folks in the dining room. They do a great job! read more

Just visiting here in town for the weekend, was looking a place to eat near the hotel I was staying at. This restaurant was just down the street so I decided to try it. Just discovered this place this morning....lured in by a little coupon offer. What a nice fast food restaurant! Along the lines of a Farmers Boy eatery. But, maybe even better! Servers were outstanding! Very friendly and attentive! Constantly stopping at the table to offer refills on the coffee and to make sure you were doing okay.... Don't come here if you're in a big hurry during a peak period. While the food is basic, it is really good, and is generally worth the wait. The staff is not sluggish. It's just that the food is popular and a lunch or dinner rush just overwhelms them. Sit tight, and your food will arrive eventually. If there isn't a decent game on the TV, I suggest you bring a book, or take the time to catch up on your Tweets. The menu is diner-like, but broad and varied, with plenty of choices, most of them very satisfying. The portions are generous, as others have said. If you are a young parent with at least two (preferably more) very small, obnoxious children and you don't feel like cooking, this place is for you. I've never eaten here when the place wasn't packed with these screaming, hungry little bastards. The Grill does not provide a playground like the McDonald's down the street, but many unabated children enjoy running straight into other diners without looking, or impatiently kicking the customer in front of them in line with no threat of proper parenting. Then, if shrieking at levels just below a dog whistle doesn't keep them entertained, just let your spawn get into the condiments and decorate the booths and floors with their youthful and creative expression. And don't worry about the mess. Simply leave it behind, just as you do at home. The Grill's staff is actually quite attentive and thorough in cleaning up after your little brats.
