Good roasted chicken. I got the two chicken, two large sides combo which was $60. Not cheap at all, sides were huge though. This place feels authentic, kind of whole in the wall-y, tortillas wrapped in foil, no English menu. Refried beans were good, cole slaw was nothing special. Only got red salsa and unsure if they have other options like a green or avocado salsa. All in all, I wouldn't come back because they are more affordable options for family sized meals. read more

I usually treat my display board production staff for lunch once a month and they always request El Pollo Fino. They love the roasted chicken, spicy salsa, fresh hot tortillas, and grilled jalapeños. I ordered the #8 and my son ordered a plate with a couple chicken legs and a piece of carne asada. My plate came with 2 chicken breasts which were good, slightly overcooked, refried beans and rice. Beans looked like they used a lot of lard, not sure. The rice was flavorless. They give you a very small container of salsa which was pretty good. Corn tortillas that easily fell apart. Staff were friendly and very polite. I ordered the half chicken, tortillas and salsa. The chicken was cooked to perfection and was delicious and juicy. The tortillas were soft and the salsa was very good with a little kick. The ambiance is customer friendly. This is a great place to go for some well seasoned and grilled meats. Everyone works as a team to get the job done and everything flows well. We were greeted right away. We ordered the whole chicken with beans, rice and macaroni salad. Everything was incredibly delicious. On a separate occasion, I came on a weekend and ordered pozole. Absolutely bomb! As we were eating & finishing up items, a young lady would come and remove empty dishes which I thought was super helpful. She even offered to bring us to go containers.
