My first BBQ at Bark in Plymouth and I can't wait to go back!…read more Celebrating my husband's birthday at a BBQ place was not my first choice, but he loves BBQ and I knew I had to find a restaurant to celebrate him. After mulitple searches and many recommendations we settled on Bark BBQ in Plymouth. I was in contact with one of the owners letting them know that we would be coming for my husbands birthday on a Wednesday and for lunch. I was hoping they would have candles which they did and the communication was very easy. Once we walked in (the restaurant is on Court St in Plymouth) but not near the center. It wasn't hard to find, but I was trying to make it a surprise so I put the closest place that I could find in Maps. I immediately knew the owner. I actually read all about his story from the beginning. I love it when I can support a husband and wife duo who own and operate a small but mighty restaurant together. I will try and not make this so long, but it is cute inside with tavern like table and chairs, a big selection to choose from, and really nice and passionate people. We shared the 3 meats and 3 sides. Now, I don't normally eat BBQ, but let me tell you we both devoured almost everything we ordered (hello leftovers). I personally loved the brisket and fall-off the bone ribs OMG. The cole slaw, potato salad, and baked beans were also delicious. We also washed everything down with one of their Kolsch beers from Mayflower brewery. And, for dessert we shared their banana pudding...probably the best I have ever had. If you are looking for a great BBQ place this IS WORTH THE DRIVE. From the scrumptous food to the nice staff and owners, we absolutely will be back. Only about 40 ish minutes from Quincy but even if you live a bit further, definitely make the trek to Bark BBQ because you won't be disapppointed. Cheers~

It's right off the main road in Plymouth and there's a lot of parking. Inside the place pretty spacious there's a lot on the menu that they offer but if I'm gonna go there, I need to try the ribs and mac & cheese I have to say it was pretty impressed. They have their own barbecue sauce with a few to pick from and the prices are really good if you're in the area you should definitely come out and try this place. It's worth the drive.

They were probably the best chicken fingers. I've had perfect texture and breading. The people were so nice, especially the guy at the front and my son was so excited when he gave him fried. Oreos that they had an extra order of especially because it was his birthday, so.Thank you for making his whole day

For my sides, I got hushpuppies and mac and cheese. The sides were both ok (I think they would've been better if I ate them in the restaurant vs getting them delivered to me). I think the mac and cheese prob could've used more flavor, but I liked the cinnamon butter on the hushpuppies. The 1/2 rack of ribs was sooo tender. They said it was to feed 1, but it was easily enough for me and my mom (with leftovers!). The meat was falling off the bone and was super juicy. Not dry at all. It paired really well with their homemade sweet Honey BBQ sauce. I tried the Chuck sauce as well, not my fave to pair with meat, but it wasn't bad. I like how they have a lot of sauces to choose from, and I would love to try all of them one day! The pork belly burnt ends were good as well, rich and sweet with the perfect amount of smokiness. Basically melted in my mouth! Sarcastic Swine is a solid BBQ spot with delicious meats and sauces. I will have to give their sides another try but I enjoyed my meal overall!

The platter contained two beef ribs that had no meat on top and a little meat around the sides.. There were two St. Louis ribs that should've had more meat on them.. There were three small baby back ribs that had the most meat of any of them. The platter also came with beans which were half contained in a water sauce. The ribs and the beans were doused with a very spicy sauce. It also came with coleslaw, which was dry and cornbread, which was mediocre. My husband had the chicken and brisket platter. It had the same spicy sauce. They came with the smallest sweet potato. I've seen in a long time and also the dry coleslaw and mediocre cornbread. To eat your food there was the cheapest plastic knife, and fork. The fork could only contain about three beans at a time. The knife was so bad that my husband took out his pocket knife to cut his food. If you wanted something to drink, you had to purchase it and that included bottled water. There were other beverages that I didn't recognize and there was no Coke or Pepsi. They were known napkins only rough, brownish paper on a roll that you pulled off pieces. At least there was a bathroom to wash your hands. We will never return
