Yes, yes, and hell yes! Do not come here to complain about the price or anything else. I am extremely picky about food, and this sandwich hit every flavor note perfectly. I drove 20 minutes home before eating it and honestly thought it would be soggy by then, but it was not at all. The bread was soft without being dry. The pesto was hands down the best I have ever had. Even the chips paired perfectly with the sandwich. The red onions were sliced perfectly, the turkey was generously packed in, and the lettuce and tomatoes did not overpower anything. You could taste every single component working together. From the bread, onions, lettuce, tomatoes, chips, turkey, pesto sauce, and the other sauce, every bite had balance and flavor. I also ordered a cookie butter coffee. I have definitely had better coffee before, but honestly this one was perfect because it was not overloaded with sugar like Dunkin. So for me, it was just right. The staff member was also amazing. I originally ordered a bagel, but it was forgotten. I reminded her, but then I saw someone else order a sandwich and asked if I could switch instead. They told me the bagel had already been made, and I said it was totally fine and that I would just take both because I did not want to be a bother. Instead, they resolved everything for me. NEW LOCATION ON SUYDAM AVE. Not sure how I feel about the new location, I definitely enjoyed the other spot better. They now have bagels and sandwiches which I didn't get to try this go around but they looked great. Still great service and awesome coffee nothing has changed except the location. Supposedly the rent of the last location went way up so they moved to the other spot. Cool atmosphere, awesome employees, very dope aesthetic and great coffee. Stopped in for the first time, had a chocolate croissant and latte, both were very good! There is a nice and somewhat secluded seating area in the back if you decide to "eat-in" as we did. We already like both Mordi's and Pinwheel along this stretch and now we like The Grind, too! read more

Coming from NYC, I have high standards for bagels, and the everything bagel with lox here was delicious! They don't skimp on the lox. I also really enjoyed the iced matcha . Today was my first time visiting and i'm definitely going back again to support a #BlackOwnedBusiness! I was immediately greeted by the staff when my friend and I walked in. They were extremely helpful and made me feel comfortable when choosing what to order. I don't drink coffee so the guy made me a pistachio latte which was delicious! I was on my way to the airport and ordered two sandwiches through Uber Eats. The app said 10 minutes. When I arrived, they told me it would take much longer. I said I couldn't wait and wanted to cancel, but was told they couldn't. (no food prep food was started yet) I even tried to cancel through Uber Eats and couldn't. No apology from the front desk, no effort to help find another solution. I was the problem for them. I ended up waiting 40 minutes. I should have left, but $35 for two sandwiches is too much to walk away from when you're already late for a flight and not making 6figures. When I got to the airport and opened the bag, it wasn't even my order. They gave me a completely different sandwich..... I live in the area but had stopped coming after a bad first experience with unfriendly baristas and overpriced items. I gave them another shot after hearing they improved. Same thing again. Stepped into The Grind for an afternoon pick me up after dropping my sister off at her apartment. Staff were super nice and helpful. Coffee was A+, smooth and rich. The barista tried really hard to stick to my "splash of half & half" request and I really appreciated that. Great little coffee shop with your typical hand crafted latte drinks and a variety of pastries/etc. Good spot to also open a laptop and work from during the day if you're lucky to grab one of the tables. My favorite - in summer, the little patio space they/JC sets up on the street outside for people to hang out, most bring dogs, very social. My least favorite - no Citibike station around. This would make it incredibly easy to get to/from. Otherwise customers within walking distance only. Not sure how this could get set up, but that corner of Pacific and Communipaw is huge with plenty of space and extra wide sidewalks - this needs to happen, please! read more

Prices are not. 12 oz decaf cappuccino with oatmilk $7.73 BEFORE required tip here, taking the total cost to $9.12. 16 oz decaf cappuccino with oatmilk $5.60 at Starbucks, no tip required at checkout. I can't afford the upcharge for decaf and non dairy, I'm glad others can because it really is a nice little shop with nice owners and should be supported. This was a great find! We came Saturday around 7:05 am and they weren't quite open yet. They fully opened up a few minutes later and we gave them some more time. Walked in around 7:15. Staff was super nice and they were still setting things up. Looks like the delicious donuts just got delivered a short time before. I ordered a black and tan and it was perfect! Husband ordered a vanilla latte (they have vanilla or coconut syrups). He forgot to order an iced one but was pleased with the flavor anyway! We both ordered cinnamon raisin bagels and we're pleased. Also tried a red velvet donut because why not! Staff greeted all of their regular customers and knew their orders. Also asked questions about family, etc. They made us feel welcome and at home here.
