This location is probably half the size of the one downtown but still eclectic and cool. A few seats in the back and two bar stools at the front if you wanna people watch. I can't get over how good their Honey Lavendar Latte is so it's hard for me to try anything else as much as I'm DYING to try the Vietnamese Red Eye. I came near closing so the pastry case was sparce but hey, I was happy with my drink. Service was quick. Parking is a nightmare so look on a side street. read more

Such a cozy yet open and free coffee shop. You wouldn't expect it but the shop is quite large on the outside . When you walk in you're immediately met with the barista at the counter ( who btw is very friendly & knowledgeable). The menu is posted directly in front of the register at level with the delicious pastries they have . The prices are reasonable and affordable for the area and definitely something for everyone. The every day coffee drinker and even the hardcore ones. I ordered the iced matcha with lavender shot in it and not only did she make it in just a few mins but it was delicious and cold! I went outside into the yard to enjoy the scenery and the birds. It's always nice to have a close cafe spot in the neighborhood. I tried Treehouse on West Side Ave. once. Personally, I can't see where the big hype comes from,as ,I found the coffee to be overpriced ,and ,especially, for the amount given. The coffee was ok, but, the price was a bit too much. The staff members were nice and there is ,also, a small backyard area ,where we took our dog too, which was nice, but honestly, there are cafes with better scenery around, as ,the backyard... looked very messy and just have a view of walls, really.Of course, to each their own, but I rather, at least have a good view of something when I'm out trying to enjoy a nice coffee. I haven't been back and don't plan on it. Just giving my Own honest opinion of my own experience. If you are driving, parking is hard to find, as West Side is always a busy street. A cute edition to the Downtown Jersey City / Hamilton Park neighborhood. I loved going here when I lived around the area- such good vibes inside with a great playlist. The baristas are always kind and quick and the coffee is not too bad. I do go more for the ambiance and environment than the coffee itself. I usually would get a classic latte or flat white but they also have great specialty options. One of the popular ones is the Vietnamese red eye coffee. Stopped by this small coffee shop on Westside. The area definitely needs a good coffee shop. While the coffee shop is very small, they do have a yard to sit in. I got an iced cappuccino and my friend got an iced chai. They had some specialty drinks that looked especially good. Both drinks were excellent. They have alternative milks including coconut milk which you don't see at many places. I'm a coffee snob and the espresso in my chai was of pretty good quality and strength. What a great place! I have heard of Treehouse Coffee Shop through friends who love this place. So one day I made my way to the other side of Jersey City and I absolutely love this place! It's so hard to miss when driving by because of their bright colors that stand out from their neighboring businesses. The inside is quite small and has no seating available, but if you go to the back, there are a few tables with umbrellas available for sitting. They have delicious donuts and other pastries available for eats, and quite a few fun coffee mixtures to choose from. I have tried their Vietnamese Red Eye Cold Brew and haven't deviated from that in my next few visits to this place. It's both eye opening and delicious! But I do mean to try their other beverages in the future. Staff is also super friendly and they have good choice in music! When waiting in line to make my order, it always seems like the staff really knows their customers. They always strike a conversation with a customer who they seem to know on a first name basis, which is so great to hear. read more

Truly one of the best coffee shops out here. It's just too bad I don't live closer. Treehouse is a small coffee shop tucked in a pretty busy street. The service is always so great and the backyard space when nice out, really is perfect. The colors are bright and fun and I always feel happier when I come here (and not just because I'm getting my coffee fix). I love the twist on the traditional coffee with different flavors. One of my favorites is the Horchata Latte (I hope they never take it off the menu)! It even comes with a whole cinnamon stick. The balance of coffee and the flavors go really well together and I never feel like the coffee is watered down. They've since opened up a closer location to me but I still wanted to show my love for the original. Love the vibes going on at #TreeHouseCoffeeShop. Especially the eye catching colors from the exterior. Friendly and efficient service from the owner. He told me that they are building a space in the back to hang out and relax. I ordered an iced vanilla latte with oat milk. Based on another review, I tried the horchata latte. It was one of the best tasting flavored sweetened lattes I've tried. I was concerned the cinnamon might be too powerful so the barista told me they'd be light in it. The syrup is house made with brown sugar nutmeg and cinnamon. It was excellent. I mean it's worth the brown sugar! The owners are very nice. This is my second time here and both times the drinks and service did not disappoint. I actually came across this coffee shop on Westside from Instagram. The account liked one of my food instas and after checking them out on Yelp and seeing their positive reviews, I decided to give them a try. I'm a Dunkin girl through and through mostly due to convenience but many times it's hit or miss. I've gotten Treehouse a few times now and it's been consistently amazing that I haven't been back to Dunkin since! The cold brews are smooth and strong and they offer all the syrup flavorings and non-dairy milk options. I can't recommend the Vietnamese red eye cold brew enough!! It's so delicious and you definitely feel the extra boost from the espresso shot. Service is great and everything is reasonably priced so I'm glad I don't have to drive all the way downtown just to get some quality coffee. I'm a little upset with myself for not checking this place out sooner but I'm definitely going to be a regular now. read more

One of my favorite coffee shops! I was so sad when we moved but would still stop by when I'm in the area. Quick and friendly service plus kick ass coffee! My go to is their cold brew but I've also tried the Vietnamese red eye, and chai latte. The cold drink sizes range from 12 oz to 20 oz. Parking is tough so my bf just parked right in front with his hazard lights on and left me in the car while he went to pick up the coffee. Due to Covid, the inside of the coffee shop is closed, but I heard that the backyard is pretty cool. I got a basic iced vanilla latte with oat milk (pretty tasty) and my bf got the Vietnamese red eye (cold brew with another shot of espresso) which I wasn't a big fan of, but he was lol.
