It's always nice to have a close cafe spot in the neighborhood. I tried Treehouse on West Side Ave. once. Personally, I can't see where the big hype comes from,as ,I found the coffee to be overpriced ,and ,especially, for the amount given. The coffee was ok, but, the price was a bit too much. The staff members were nice and there is ,also, a small backyard area ,where we took our dog too, which was nice, but honestly, there are cafes with better scenery around, as ,the backyard... looked very messy and just have a view of walls, really.Of course, to each their own, but I rather, at least have a good view of something when I'm out trying to enjoy a nice coffee. I haven't been back and don't plan on it. Just giving my Own honest opinion of my own experience. If you are driving, parking is hard to find, as West Side is always a busy street. Such a cozy yet open and free coffee shop. You wouldn't expect it but the shop is quite large on the outside . When you walk in you're immediately met with the barista at the counter ( who btw is very friendly & knowledgeable). The menu is posted directly in front of the register at level with the delicious pastries they have . The prices are reasonable and affordable for the area and definitely something for everyone. The every day coffee drinker and even the hardcore ones. I ordered the iced matcha with lavender shot in it and not only did she make it in just a few mins but it was delicious and cold! A cute edition to the Downtown Jersey City / Hamilton Park neighborhood. I loved going here when I lived around the area- such good vibes inside with a great playlist. The baristas are always kind and quick and the coffee is not too bad. I do go more for the ambiance and environment than the coffee itself. I usually would get a classic latte or flat white but they also have great specialty options. One of the popular ones is the Vietnamese red eye coffee. Stopped by this small coffee shop on Westside. The area definitely needs a good coffee shop. While the coffee shop is very small, they do have a yard to sit in. I got an iced cappuccino and my friend got an iced chai. They had some specialty drinks that looked especially good. Both drinks were excellent. They have alternative milks including coconut milk which you don't see at many places. I'm a coffee snob and the espresso in my chai was of pretty good quality and strength. What a great place! I have heard of Treehouse Coffee Shop through friends who love this place. So one day I made my way to the other side of Jersey City and I absolutely love this place! It's so hard to miss when driving by because of their bright colors that stand out from their neighboring businesses. The inside is quite small and has no seating available, but if you go to the back, there are a few tables with umbrellas available for sitting. They have delicious donuts and other pastries available for eats, and quite a few fun coffee mixtures to choose from. I have tried their Vietnamese Red Eye Cold Brew and haven't deviated from that in my next few visits to this place. It's both eye opening and delicious! But I do mean to try their other beverages in the future. Staff is also super friendly and they have good choice in music! When waiting in line to make my order, it always seems like the staff really knows their customers. Truly one of the best coffee shops out here. It's just too bad I don't live closer. Treehouse is a small coffee shop tucked in a pretty busy street. One of my favorites is the Horchata Latte (I hope they never take it off the menu)! It even comes with a whole cinnamon stick. Love the vibes going on at #TreeHouseCoffeeShop. Especially the eye catching colors from the exterior. Friendly and efficient service from the owner. Based on another review, I tried the horchata latte. It was one of the best tasting flavored sweetened lattes I've tried. I actually came across this coffee shop on Westside from Instagram. The account liked one of my food instas and after checking them out on Yelp and seeing their positive reviews, I decided to give them a try. I'm a Dunkin girl through and through mostly due to convenience but many times it's hit or miss. I've gotten Treehouse a few times now and it's been consistently amazing that I haven't been back to Dunkin since! The cold brews are smooth and strong and they offer all the syrup flavorings and non-dairy milk options. I can't recommend the Vietnamese red eye cold brew enough!! It's so delicious and you definitely feel the extra boost from the espresso shot. Service is great and everything is reasonably priced so I'm glad I don't have to drive all the way downtown just to get some quality coffee. Due to Covid, the inside of the coffee shop is closed, but I heard that the backyard is pretty cool.
