Peach season is back and so is my favorite peach drink. The Peach Cheese was full of big, juicy peach pieces. You can really taste the difference when drinks are made with fresh fruit. The Pineapple Bobo with coconut milk was another good one. Pineapple and boba worked surprisingly well together. Black Grape Cheese is still my go-to. I always get it with no sugar and it's honestly not sweet at all. Mango Sago is my husband's favorite. Even with no added sugar, it's still naturally sweet because the mango is so ripe. For fresh fruit tea in JC, this is still my favorite spot. Get the seasonal fruit drinks while they're available. And you might get lucky and see the cute guy working behind the counter. read more

more like a 3.5 out of 5 stars. i was in town for a business trip, and this place wasn't too far from my hotel. I walked here about 30 mins before closing, and it was empty. Heads up, this place is extremely small, i don't even recall any area inside to sit. Think all orders here are for to go. My friend was trying to ask questions about drink options and the man working behind the counter just dismissed her and told her to use the kiosk to order. How did I JUST discover this place? Came here twice. Tried the taro boba, mango coco with tapioca and a persimmon slush. The persimmon slush was definitely the best. It's not often you get to try persimmons, these were ripe and delicious. The slush was slightly watery, maybe milky? I would have preferred more persimmon. Their "regular" sweetness isn't sweet at all so just a heads up. The first time I went I thought it would be too sweet and ordered 1/2 sweetness but it wasn't sweet at all. The taro is too thick. Was told to move with a straw but it didn't work. My bf had to ask them to manually shake it with a spoon. I like that the taro is natural but it shouldn't be THAT thick. There has to be a way to dilute it. Overall decent boba place if you're around. Offering organic milk is a nice touch. But the service leaves much to be desired, there's no warmth. No greeting. I was less than impressed with the tea shop in downtown Jersey City. It is more of a grab-and-go storefront as it is very long and narrow. There are a few chairs in the far corner, but most of the shop is dominated by the counter. They have self-service kiosks and do allow you to customize the amount of ice in your drink, but not the amount of sugar level. The crystal boba was cut into small cubes rather than round so it was not as easy to drink through the straw. I did like how the lids were the re-sealable kind. I got the Thai iced tea ($6.25) and was surprised at how small the regular/medium size order was. It is much smaller than the sizes in other shops in the area. About 20 minutes later, some sort of thin oily layer had begun to separate on the top of the drink. I've never had this happen before with bubble tea so am not sure if it was a problem with an ingredient gone bad or the mixing process or what it was. read more

Lol I end up ordering the cheese foam mango sago (tapioca, not boba) slush with 70% sugar. In the mood for fruity. So.... Perfect amount of sugar with the savory from the cheese foam. Nice sips with bits of mango, sago, with the lightly tang foam all swirl in my mouth. Highly recommended. The place is small but since it's Monday night we were able to sit at a little booth table & high chairs and hung for about an hour. It's a take out/to go place but they also have outdoor seating that would be great on a warm afternoon. When I'm in Jersey City again, I'll make sure to stop by this place again for quality Asian bubble drink. Definitely going to have the taro milk with Boba next time.
