This shop is wonderfully patient with him, and every time I've been there, the place has at least 1 or 2 other poodles (or mixes) happily in the pen. That should speak to their service. Christian usually takes care of my buddy. He is incredibly polite and he also takes the time to hear my concerns before and after grooming. I feel like he's immensely attentive -- as he takes notes on what I liked or didn't like about the cut; he notices when I'm early, stressed, etc; and he offers help for tackling various issues (matting, dry skin, etc). He is great! My buddy leaves here with a cute bandana or bow tie, and even though my dog hates being groomed, he doesn't seem stressed when we pull up.

The groomer, Stacy, was SO INCREDIBLE!! I have been driving an hour to keep the same groomer over the past year - I trusted them and they were very kind and gentle with my rescue. I'm not sure who is more anxious to drop off their rescue dog at the groomers.... the dog or myself. Definitely me! They made me feel so comfortable. The groomer came out front to meet us, we sat in the floor to meet and greet and discuss what I was needing. Stacy was so kind and so patient, so loving to my dog! The way she looked at her, spoke to her and told her she loved her... you can tell she is really great with the dogs she works with. When checking out, the staff came to the front of the counter to kneel down and give my dog even more love and comfort. I have been in tears of happiness finding a place that cares for my dog as much as I do. I couldn't be more thankful for Stacy and Urban Dog! Thank you for such amazing care of myself and my dog!

It's a neat little cozy niche of a store, with several smaller business options for food and toys. The ladies there were warm to us, but much warmer to those that brought in dogs. Can't blame them, that's the top spenders right there. A real trouble is the prices overall, they're not too expensive, but those little mark-ups make it harder to buy more during a visit. That nearby brewery helps wash that guilt down, though.

Noticed after we got home the pink area on one paw. Closer observation discovered two areas on that paw each with slight matting I would presume from the no stop product that was used to stop bleeding. Two other paws had been injured the same. Also, the coat was cut uneven and the face barely trimmed. So sorry and sad that I put my sweet pup through this.

I have vet bills showing they were healthy. I took them for a 2 mile run the day I took them. I come back from vacation to $3,000 veterinarian bill and a huge gash on his head. This place is incompetent, and should not be boarding dogs. It is one thing if just one customer writes a terrible review. The number of 1 star reviews should tell you not to bring your dog here. I took the first two pictures the day I left for vacation. The third picture is the gash on his head.
