This is a few weeks overdue. I want to give a shout out to Remus and his son for doing a great job! They rerouted our kitchen floor and around our bathtub in the Master bathroom. Remus just completed replacing a section of ceramic floor tiles in our kitchen that had separated from the concrete slab. He did an excellent job, and I'd say it's pretty much to perfection as far as alignment, being level with older tiles, and overall installation. He even brings in protective tarps and wears protective foot covering to protect our hardwood floors. He is always professional, detail oriented, polite, and respectful from when he does his initial inspection for working up a quote right through to completion of the project. Our once beautiful bathroom natural limestone tiles with tiny embedded shells and fossils were blistered and chipping. The tiles were no longer soft and smooth due to water damage. Pieces of rocks were crumbling at my feet, like rough sand. Our bathroom stone floor did not feel clean. I appreciate that Remus showed up in a mask for covid safety concerns. He was very professional and efficient. Also friendly, and charged a fair price for the work. He said it would take 2 days and it took a day and a half, and he scheduled to come back in 2 weeks to seal the lower part of my shower to allow moisture to dry out more as there was moisture under the lower tiles due to old grout had been leaking. He said the lower grout on 2nd day was darker which indicated moisture being present. He left a fan overnight to expedite drying. I initially checked Yelp to find him.
