I went to The Grove to celebrate a friend's birthday. First off, I was really surprised how quiet and vacant it was on a Sunday afternoon. The brunch rush was slow, but hopefully it'll pick up. The menu has a great variety, but the true standout was the decor. I loved the classy Miami Deco vibe with the pink, green, and velvet. I actually preferred the appetizers to my meal. The standout was the ceviche!

I came for the first time for dinner the other night. The restaurant is very spacious and well decorated with a citrus section. Our server was helpful and the menu had a great variety of dishes. The drinks were tasty and pretty and the food came out quickly. The Caesar salad was great and we didn't realize it came with prosciutto. We especially loved the carpaccio and short rib lasagna. The corquettes were more like hush puppies but we still enjoyed them. I will be back.

I had such an incredible time at The Grove! The atmosphere and decor is so chic! Our bartender was attentive, friendly, and personal. I ordered the orange sunset drink and it was delicious! It tasted like an orange creamsicle! I will definitely be back for dinner!

Came here for my brother in law's bday. It was a treat! Their new concept is working, from the food, the flavors, the drinks, the brunch vibes. All we're giving . Will certainly be back. And fully recommend. For 5 people who ate and had adult beverages we spent under $150. Say what? Unheard of.

My wife and I were dedicated fans of Chayote. We absolutely loved the food and the service every time we visited. We hated to see them rebrand, but we were excited to give the new concept a try. Unfortunately, this experience was nothing like what we remembered. The service was subpar. Our server was not very helpful, informative, or engaging. In fact, when he found out we were celebrating my birthday, he told us he was going to make it special. Unfortunately, he did the exact opposite. There was nothing memorable or special about the service, and it honestly felt like we were just another table. The crab dip was bland and lacked flavor. The pork chop, however, was absolutely delicious. The coleslaw was not anything special, but it was not bad either. The lasagna was a huge disappointment. It barely had any meat, and the brisket was just not good. I honestly don't understand all the influencer hype around this dish because it was a complete miss. The real star of the meal was the mac and cheese. I could eat that all day, every day. The aesthetics and atmosphere are still fantastic, and the location is great. Parking can be difficult depending on the day and time. I personally will not be back, but I still think everyone should try it for themselves. I know it's the same chef running the kitchen, but it just doesn't feel or taste like the Chayote that my wife and I became such big fans of.

We came in for dinner and had a great experience! The restaurant is absolutely stunning with a well curated interior, beautiful decor, and fun seating. To drink, I got the house spritz. They no longer had the first drink I tried to order. The spritz was fruity and refreshing. For my entree, I got the carbonara pizza. The pizza was well presented and had a good ratio of toppings. It was on the saltier side, but I liked it. My boyfriend got the roast chicken with mashed potatoes and enjoyed it. It had a nice skin and the potatoes were super creamy. Overall, the food was solid and the atmosphere was excellent. Service was good. I'm excited to come back and try more.

I started with the Espresso Martini one of my go to's. It was nice and frothy on the top and the right balance was drink and espresso. My second drink was the Amaretto Sour. Also, fresh and delicious and beautifully presented. I got the chips and dip and the crispy brussel sprouts. The onion dip was so good paired with the chips and the brussels were a good blend of sweet and tart and crispy. Both portions were large. They also were serving Swine and Sons hot dogs as an option as well. A solid happy hour location and they decorate for the holidays as well.

Lots of real candles, burlesque pictures, and flowers made the mood cozy and sexy. The staff were wonderful. To drink, I got the lickin love with Cabernet (milk chocolate on the rim with a white chocolate drizzle). It was so fun and delicious. For my dessert, I ordered the fever, which consisted of a chocolate molten cake, two scoops of vanilla ice cream, and a chocolate decoration. It was so delicious and decadent. My girlfriends loved the carrot cake and the fourgasm (4 dessert sampler). Everything was a bit expensive, but you're paying for the expensive. My one minor complaint was that we had not been there an excessive amount of time, but as we were checking out, we were informed we needed to leave because they needed our table in 5 minutes. I did not care for that. Overall, this was a really fun experience and I'm sad we had to say goodbye.

Real good vibes. Orlando obviously has no shortage of places to eat, drink, and gather, but Alfie's belongs to that rare category of venues that feel equally at home in a major metropolis. It's the kind of spot that would fit seamlessly into Los Angeles's best neighborhoods: think Gold Line in Highland Park or the Vinyl Room at the Hollywood Palladium. Not because they're carbon copies, but because they share that intangible quality of genuine discovery and cultural curiosity. The crowd ( age range 25 - 35 mostly ) was genuinely engaged with one another. People were actually talking, actually present, not hunched over their phones. That alone felt invigorating. There was an undeniable spark in the room. Alfie's wasn't chasing trends; it was simply allowing them to emerge naturally. What impressed me most was how they brought it all together .. Retro stereo equipment and vinyl players from the 50s mixed with a bar area that's super sleek and modern. Conversations, music, the lounge itself .... all came together in a way that felt alive and IN THE MOMENT. When my LA friends visit, Alfie's is on the list. Go after 9 or 10 PM and plan to stay for at least two hours. That's when you really see the scene develop and come alive. Bring your ID: they card at the door. Even at my age, I still get carded. No complaining about that ! lol
