The ambiance is dark and decorated with red accents and booths. You can opt to get a couch for bigger parties. They have lamps on the table and you change the light to let your server know you need them. They copycat the Improv on two items minimum per person. Drinks are a bit on the pricey side. The Henny-Rita cocktail is delicious and I could actually taste the Hennessy. Bottles of water are priced decently. My server he was polite and friendly. Sometimes I feel these places can nickel and dime you. They automatically had gratuity to your bill. Please NOTE: The bands tend to start late. Overall if you want to hear some good music and be entertained. Then this a great place to start the night. The crowd does change from grown and sexy to young and fun. When you arrive parking is pretty difficult and you'll either need to park in a nearby garage or on the street. The venue itself is vibrant, high energy, mixed with being in the heart of Dallas. We ended up sitting upstairs and I'm so glad we did as I didn't want to stand the entire concert. The beers are more on the expensive side so I'd recommend pregaming before the concert. This is a great venue to watch a concert from if you are in Dallas.

There was also a person handing out free taster frozen whiskey shooters. Pretty kid friendly. I brought my 2 and 4 year old to meet up with another family from out of town with young kids. A little loud during the World Cup, but seating was plentiful on a Thursday night and they had a few kid friendly food options (grilled cheese, pizza, quesadillas, chicken nuggets and fries). Parking was easy as there's a covered parking garage attached to the hotel and I think I only paid $1 for 2 hours of parking. There's also a small water splash pad outside for kids to run through and cool down on a hot summer day. Cool spot.

A huge patio at that. It was fun looking at the Dallas skyline and watching the hoochie mama's below going to the Pittpull concert. Hello silicone, but I digress. I didn't really mind paying $4.50 for weak cocktails, or $4 for Shiner, even when it was poured in a plastic cup. The bathroom attendant was so unnecessary, though. Is she always there? There are only two bathroom sinks, and we were at a punk show ferfucksake. Any who. I felt the venue was solid for what it does, and the fact that I was able to get so close to punk legends sealed the deal.

Take some pics with your friend/significant other with the Dallas skyline. With all these positive marks you would expect a 5 star review. Sadly, the band line up is pretty limited. We shared an order of the deviled eggs and they were pretty good and then we each had a bowl of the lobster bisque. It was absolutely delicious lobster bisque. Creamy with generous chunks of lobster. I got the tuna tartare for lunch and it was very good. My girlfriend decided to go straight to dessert and got the ricotta cheesecake. She said it was excellent. Will definitely be back here.

Huge letdown as they let a bunch of people sit next to us that were very rude and annoying who didn't have wristbands from the venue. I would skip it going forward everything was mediocre. No need to follow the dress code here, as demonstrated by the patrons we saw.
