Grove Kitchen and Bar saved us from having to choose between lunch and lounge time during our two pool days at Parrot Key - we got to enjoy both simultaneously! The perfect tables right beside the lounge chairs meant we could alternate between bites and dips without missing a beat. Sure, the WiFi was down so we had to order at the bar instead of using the QR code system, but that just gave us an excuse to check out their fun cocktail menu up close. The Parrot Key Signature drink was liquid vacation in a glass - sweet, tropical, and exactly what we wanted by the pool. Food highlights? Those conch fritters were the best we found in the Keys (and we made it our mission to try them everywhere). The mountain of Barbacoa nachos could feed a small army (we barely made a dent), and the Shrimp BLT hit all the right notes. Only miss was the unavailable smashed avocado - those avocados just weren't ready for their moment. Pro tip: Grab a table by the loungers, order the fritters and a tropical drink, and enjoy the ultimate poolside lunch experience. Better then expected. I can honestly say that the Barbacoa Tacos were so tender and full of flavor. The French fries were curly seasoned and were on point with the side of Garlic Aioli. The service was great and the ambiance was a beautiful pool side restaurant. read more

Abysmally awful service at the bar and tables. Dismissive, rude wait staff. We are staying here, and I'll still be driving to another bar/restraunt rather than visit this place again. Edit: The lure of breakfast right outside our door was too much, and we decided to give them a second chance. I'm including pictures of my $20 salmon breakfast and my wife's $18 omelette and potatoes. As you can clearly see, the potatoes are as sad about what's been done to them as we were. The service was better the second time around, but still not good at all. With so many fantastic options a short walk away...learn from out mistakes! read more

We had dinner out here our first night staying at the Parrot so the kids could enjoy the pool. The service was very good. My wife and I both had the half chicken which was much better than expected. I would order again. The broccolini was overdone. Should never be mushy. Kids enjoyed their pizzas. The chocolate cake dessert was not fresh, that was disappointing. I would consider again but pass on ordering dessert. read more

This is the dining option for our resort, Parrot Key. Located Pool side, it's really nice if the weather is good. I'm sure they have options if the weather is inclement too. We arrived for meals on Thanksgiving, and they were having the full menu as well as a special Thanksgiving day menu available at a $35.00 price. For lunch we chose off the menu, I had a Cuban Sandwich and the hubby had a burger, we were happy with what we got. Their fries were so good! At lunch, we had drinks, I had their Famous Key Lime Martini, which was absolutely refreshing and tasty! For Thanksgiving dinner, the offered Turkey or ham, with sides of Mashed potatoes & Gravy, Stuffing and Cranberry sauce, and for dessert, there was a choice of Pumpkin pie or Apple. We enjoyed both of the meats, as the husband ordered the Turkey and I got the ham, they were good, but the gravy was super salty. The sides were tasty, but the pie? It didn't taste like Pumpkin, the spice was different, somewhat Off. I could not place what was off, only that the mix was wrong. The service was always impeccable when we were here. This restaurant is poolside at The Parrot Key resort next to Home Depot on North Roosevelt Blvd. This place is a hidden gem that we frequent often during our stays in Key West. It has a beautiful and tranquil setting. The food and drinks are amazing. We love all of the salads but you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. I would suggest trying it if you would like to get away from the hustle and bustle of Duval Street and enjoy a nice relaxing meal. read more

The chips & salsa/guacamole is Tostitinos and Wholey Guacamole - straight out of a jar. The Cuban sandwich is good, same as the coconut shrimp. Nothing to knock your socks off really. Service is very nice and attentive. They have cats, roosters and baby raccoons that roam the property and it is soooo cute! The severs do a good job maintaining them and keeping them out of trouble. read more

Went to the Grove during Happy Hour. Supposedly specialty drinks are half off but apparently not the Hemingway Daiquiri which was $20. It is the same price as the other specialty drinks but it is double the price of the other specialty drinks during Happy Hour. $20 for an 8oz Daiquiri. Never again! read more

Pretty weak.. upon arrival the the place looked cool. However when u walked in not even a smile could b had by wait staff. Was looking forward to a Bloody Mary with bacon as indicated...bloody came, no bacon .. ord. 2 Cuban bfast sandwiches.. 20 min later was informed they were out of bread for sandwiches... we made a quick adjustment and the meal came out shortly after food was ok.. 1bloody,1mimosa, 1 Cuban bfast sand. Nice pool side dining. The Parrot Key Ceviche with grouper and pink shrimp was good. So was the sharable guacamole & chips. I enjoyed my Turkey Bacon Wrap and my friend enjoyed the Maui Tacos. I wouldn't come to the resort to eat here, but if you are staying in the Parrot Key resort don't be fooled by the empty tables as I almost was! read more
