For a small place, they have a lot to offer: good cocktails, a nice menu with lots of options, friendly staff. We liked the wings and the tuna bomb too. Cool little place! Ambience is cozy & romantic The service was okay. I was sitting at the bar so he was very busy. I had the chicken Parmesan. It was very good along with a Caesar salad. What turned me off was being served a drink in a plastic cup in a restaurant as expensive as this. I ordered a Coke zero with a lime. He brought it out with a lemon instead in a plastic cup. One of the few places open on a Monday night, my family chose this place. Good eye. The name didn't really grab me personally but it's nice to have other perspectives. My relatives were mentioning that the bubbles in the espresso martini were maybe made with nitrogen but we weren't really sure. It was cool just to see it. We are also mad we didn't notice the blood orange crush offered lol. Lobster Mac was with Maine lobster and so on-point. I did not have the blackberry cheesecake but figured I'd show it off lol. More of a local dig with super friendly staff here. There was a local musician playing excellent covers casually and I usually don't like covers, but I was mesmerized here. Went here for brunch when we were in town for a wedding and it was amazing! Their Gypsy potatoes are perfection - the seasoning was great and they had peppers and onions in them. I got pierogis and they were phenomenal! Would recommend for any out of towners like me! read more

Haven't been here in years but wanted to try again. So glad I did! This is such a great spot. Such a cute little place with a warm welcoming ambiance and decor. The Christmas decor was very well done! Incredibly friendly and attentive staff. Definitely get here early if you want a spot or be ready to wait. The wait is well worth it! They have great Happy Hour deals at the bar but the best part was the bartender Frank. He was fabulous. Super friendly, welcoming, funny, and attentive. The mini pierogis were good with some salt and slight garlic. Creamy but mild flavor. The Frank sandwich was obviously a recommendation from Frank the bartender so I had to try it. This sandwich was delicious. The chicken cutlet is crispy and lightly breaded. Good juicy white meat. Provolone is sharp but pairs well with the broccoli rabe and peppers. I meant to write this review months ago. I cant believe we've waited so long to try it here. We brought our family out for dinner for our daughter's 2nd birthday. The atmosphere is cozy, warm and incredibly inviting. They had the outdoor decorated for the holidays which was such a nice touch. The restaurant has decent food, but they have canceled pick up orders 3 times on us now. The most recent time they canceled the order three minutes before the pick up time. When we called to make sure the text that they canceled with accurate, they said "we have too many catering orders", not even with an apology. Had a great experience dining here! The inside was pretty loud (they had an acoustic guitarist playing and the place was pretty crowded for a Thursday), so we opted for sitting outside since the weather was so nice. Our waitress, Jennifer, was very attentive as were the other people delivering food and filling up our water glasses. The food was AMAZING! We got the grilled veggie platter and pesto chicken for an entree. Both were amazing. I forgot to mention the delicious drinks! My boyfriend got a chocolate martini, and I got some really fun drink that I forget the name of. All of the items looked amazing and it was hard to pick! Stopped in for dinner. Ordered Kim's Flatbread for an app. The marinara sauce is a little spicy (which i loved) and the bread was soft and so good. I then had the Steak Frittes, a 10 oz Ribeye with french fries. OMG!!! One of the best steaks i have EVER had and the fries were delicious too. We came in Wednesday for dinner and it was very lively. Jerry Watkins was covering a lot of great throwbacks; we enjoyed listening to him. I planned out brunch this week in an attempt to support local but when my guest and I are arrived at the Gypsy Saloon, at 2:25 pm today, we were turned away. I asked for a table for two and the host told me that the kitchen was closed and they were closing the restaurant at 3pm. I surveyed the dining area and less than half of the tables were occupied. While so many restaurants are operating in the red it's hard to fathom why Gypsy would turn away 2 people standing right in front of you. The hours posted state that they are open until 9pm tonight. The host says they close every day from 3 pm to 4pm yet that info is nowhere to be found. Surely a party of two arriving 6 hours and 35 minutes prior to your advertised closing time should be able to be accommodated. Do better. read more

This place is interesting. Decor inside is nice and the food is pretty good. The service is where things get strange. The owner lurks around and is snappy and court with patrons. Unless you know her personally and then she is warm and friendly. Policies are outdated around seating. For example in the middle of the day even if it's not busy you can not get a table if you dine alone. They stick you at the bar. And even if there's no one else at the bar, you can not put your jacket on an empty seat. They do not deliver this information nicely. Someone who is trained in service should be there to run the day to day. read more

This came as a recommendation and reservations were made. This is a nice, comfy lil restaurant. Our server was very helpful, going over the menu with us and helping us decide on what we wanted. I'm usually skeptical when I ask a server about a meal and they say, oh it's good. I feel like they say this to everyone about every meal. He helped us both decide on what we wanted because there were a few things I was stuck between. I ended up w/the breakfast burrito and she had lox w/something. Everything I ate was good. This is a no brainer for me, I'll definitely be back. Oh and my drink, well I knew I was only going to be able to handle 1 in order to have a productive day. Food great!!!! We had an Waiter (about 60 years old) at a table of 8. He would not split the bill and they would only take two credit cards max from the table. Since we were traveling on business we all needed to pay seperatly. The bill had the automatic gratuity so he knew he was getting paid no matter what the customer thought or wanted. A group of around 15 of us visited for some friends' birthdays for brunch on a Sunday 6/6/21. This place has a really cool vibe/atmosphere and the outside is decorated really cute. I ordered a sandwich called "Frankie The Bartender," which was a fried chicken cutlet, provolone cheese, long hots, roasted red peppers and broccoli rabe on a ciabatta bun--it was sooo good! I upgraded to truffle fries (it comes with regular fries) and I'm so glad I did. They had an amazing flavor without being over greasy. They also have mimosa towers!!!! Single diners, don't count on going here and being given the time of day. I travel to Conshohocken very frequently and try to get a good mix of different locations for dinner when I am here. I don't like dining solo so much, but that's the way it goes when you travel a lot for work. I tried to walk in for dinner and was greeted by the hostess. She was pleasant enough in welcoming me, and I saw several open tables so thought I would have a good shot of being seated right away. I asked for a table for one and her response was simply "bar." Just said bar. I thought perhaps I misheard, so she told me all the tables were already spoken for and I could eat at the bar. As I looked around the corner another person walked in behind me and asked if he could get a table for two. She said it would be just one minute while she cleared one off. Needless to say, I left immediately. Clearly she didn't value having me there as a solo diner and lied about the tables being spoken for. If you're going to disallow a solo diner from taking a table at least be honest about it. read more

Came here for a business lunch. Really neat dining room and wait staff is very attentive. Food is good - we had a group of five and had mostly salads with one sandwich. We had a pizza for an appetizer. All the food was very good. I had the Caesar salad with salmon and enjoyed it very much. I definitely recommend this place and I think kids would be fine here. My husband and I were visiting the area and found the Gypsy Saloon through Yelp. Thank you to all the reviewers who suggested this great find. I was a little concerned, based on a few reviews that mentioned they were rushed, but we had no issues at all. We were seated immediately (it was cold and rainy at about 6pm so I am guessing that was in our favor) and felt welcomed throughout the entire visit. Husband had the gnocchi, which he polished off and I had the halibut special which was just fantastic. It was so nice to find a place with great food and atmosphere and away from all the mall chain options. Looking forward to going back to the Gypsy Saloon when we return to the area. My Daughter in law and I found this Fantastic place while traveling back to Philadelphia after visiting Legoland with my 6 year old granddaughter. The decor, both inside and out, immediately makes you feel mesmerized and at home at the same time. The white tables cloths made us question whether this was the best choice for dinner with a 6 year old, but the welcome that we all received, along with ALL the excellent subsequent service that we received, told us they we were in the exactly the right place This became especially clear when the owner asked if my granddaughter would like to decorate a pumpkin for display in the restaurant for Halloween. After her resounding "YES PLEASE" a small pumpkin and assorted paint pens were put in front of her with STRICT instructions NOT TO worry about getting paint the white table cloth and to just have FUN Really??!!! ... and the fantastic service just never stopped. Literally everything we ordered was absolutely AMAZING. The food was imaginative, fresh and simply off the hook delicious ! A visit to the Gypsy Saloon was like getting a magic hug full of food and comfort for our family just when we needed it the most. We travel to CHOPS every few months and we will DEFINITELY be back to this wonderful place. Make a reservation if you can because we got lucky.
