Such a cute place! I love the daisy themed decor and I loved the food and drinks even better! Had a lovely gin cocktail. Tasted my friend's delicious mushroom soup even though I really don't like mushrooms. The short ribs empanadas were beautifully presented and tasted wonderful. I could smell the beef as soon as it came to the table. Then I had the shrimp risotto. I didn't know what to expect with the cauliflower and arugula but it all worked out perfectly! Friends suggested we visit The Daisy Tavern for a birthday dinner. It was busy on a Saturday night before a snowstorm, but we had reservations and were quickly shown to our table. The decor has a California farmhouse feel with lots of wood accents and open shelving. Fortunately, we were given a quieter table in the corner off the main dining room although even that room was loud. We started off with drinks and appetizers. The Orchard and Oak bourbon cocktail in a tall glass tasted like a winter drink and was slightly sweet. We shared Daisy's Nuggets which I would definitely order again. Finally, nuggets with a little heat! A few more blue cheese crumbles would have been appreciated though. We also decided to try the Smoke Show pizza which was fabulous even though I'm usually not a fan of thicker crust pizza. I especially enjoyed the combination of flavors including the ricotta on top. As an entree, my husband ordered the Short Rib Ravioli which wouldn't have been enough for him without all the appetizers as the portion was small. It seemed more like an appetizer portion than an entree. The Smash Burger, however, was a hit. Our server sang the praises of Manny's Mussels saying you could drink the broth as a soup. Unfortunately, that was not the case as the broth was too oily. Also, there weren't many mussels. Additionally, the timing of these entrees was terrible. As we were enjoying our appetizers, the mussels and burger were brought out by a food runner. It seemed as though there was no communication between the food runner and the server who later apologized for the food coming out too early. Also, despite noting it on our reservation and actually calling and speaking to someone named Lily, our birthday chocolate cake was again brought out by an oblivious food runner with no candle. I asked him to please put a candle in it, and it was brought out a second time with a candle. Additionally, our first cup of decaf was lukewarm despite our server saying she had just made a fresh pot. Our second cup was a bit warmer. Overall, we enjoyed our food and the ambiance. However, the kitchen needs a system to communicate with the servers, food runners, and reservationists in order to make it a better experience for diners. read more

Grabbed a spot at the bar during a busy brunch. The highlight was the chicken nuggets. Crispy and great flavor. Would return for those and give a 10/10. Service was lacking in all aspects. Drinks never refilled. Didn't receive silverware with our food so that was awkward. Never checked in on to make sure everything was ok. The $20 cheese plate was underwhelming. There was mustard on everything, bread, olives, strawberries, when we first received it and the portion size was small. Two small pieces of bread cut in half? Wouldn't not suggest that as an option even though the cheese itself was tasty. read more

The pizza was AMAZING!!!! I can't wait to fly 2500 miles again to order it. The short rib empanadas were interesting.... Not bad but not sure I would order them again. Stopped in here for brunch, which is new for them according to our server. Everyone was welcoming and pleasant. The decor was warm and inviting with tons of natural light. Our brunch consisted of avocado toast Americana (two eggs, potatoes and breakfast meat), and kids pancakes. Everything was tasty! The kids menu hadn't been printed yet but they have kid's options and provided a kids cup/colorful straw which was much appreciated. I also so they provided hot water for parent to warm a bottle for a new baby (major points). The server and manger were very attentive making sure that we enjoyed everything. We went on Sunday @5:40pm. Atmosphere . Loved it. Bright. Inviting. Clean. Makes you want to go back. The food liquid potatoes was not our thing. Server Bartender . We took our seat at 540pm & not busy yet with the dinner crowd. We put an app and drinks in 5:45pm. App came out at 6pm and drinks not until 6:10pm. Mind you 1 drink had to be made the other pre-batched (not good). We put in our dinner order. Then another round of drinks (only needed to pour these) and it still took 18mins. We were finished with dinner before they came. Frustration sat in. We may give it another try, maybe an off night. read more

We ate here after a business meeting on Monday. It was my first time, and my companion had been once before. Outside was confusing as there was only one entrance to the parking lot that wasn't blocked so we had to turn around and try again. We were greeted upon entering and my seat had a fun view of a goat sculpture. My companion started with carrot soup, which she enjoyed, and I had the salmon crudo which was delicious. She had the short rib and was pleased. I had the beet and goat cheese salad. I liked the beets and the crunch from pistachios but learned the hard way that goat cheese can have a range of flavor, and this was far too tart for my taste. Visited for the first time after work recently. Location is very close to Spring Mill station and the business park there. This also means that it is often filled with events. The indoor bar was closed for a private event, but there is also a bar through the back on the patio area (covered). Happy hour is 4-6 with some drink specials and $8 appetizers. I had the chicken meatballs, which were super hot (temperature, not spice) but good. I also had one of the happy hour cocktails; I forget what it was called but it was whiskey, iced tea, and mint. Definitely tasted like iced tea with whiskey in it; not my favorite but that's a reflection of my taste, not the bartender. Service was quick. Once moving inside for our reservation and seated dinner, I was pretty underwhelmed. It's been a heat wave and a long week at work and I was looking forward to a nice meal out with work. Service was okay; nothing crazy. The manager did come over to say hello which was unexpected but appreciated. Wasn't super thrilled with the menu; didn't seem like a lot of options and a little pricey. The cheesesteak eggrolls were pretty good, but I've never met a cheesesteak eggrolls I didn't like. I ended up going with the burger for $20, one of the cheaper things on the menu. Didn't ask how it was cooked and came out to be on the medium/medium well side. Side of ketchup and secret sauce, which seemed to have a garlic butter base and was pretty thick. There were LOTS of fries. Burger was very juicy but also quite messy. Bathrooms are unisex single rooms, thought the design was very cute and gender inclusive. Overall, my experience was.. fine. Daisy Tavern was perfect in every way. We thought it would be empty on a Saturday at 5PM, but we were wrong! The bar was packed for college football and most of the front room tables were taken. We got our seat right away and were greeted with a great waitress. What we snagged: -Mocktail and Cocktail. Forget the names, but all delish. -Started with a cesear salad -The OG pizza -Smash Burger (HIGHLY recommend!) We'll 100% be back with a group or to just catch a game at their bar. It has the familiar feel of a newly designed space but the interior decoration is beautiful and makes each room feel cozy. We went to the Daisy Tavern in Conshy last Saturday night, with a party of nine, for a birthday party. First of all, it's in Conshy and has parking!!!! This is a big plus. We were seated at a table with a very new and inexperienced waitress who clearly was over her head with the service of a large table, but tried really hard to help us out. The kitchen was not quite as effective. Steak was overcooked and returned to the table the same way, eggplant was undercooked and could not be cut with a butter knife. The kitchen was out of creamers and we're still not sure what was delivered to us with the coffees - suspect it was evaporated milk. BUT, I reached out to the restaurant and the general manager called me back, listened to each and every issue we had. She offered us an e-gift cart, but since we live in Ohio and were just visiting for the birthday, we asked she deliver it to the birthday celebrant. That said, there were many pluses. Every single sauce we tasted was fabulous, our waitress and the runners did try to provide quality service, and, our family got to enjoy time together. Next time we will go back and try their pizzas. Our server took a while to ackowledge us and almost seemed timid. She was literally whispering and I couldn't hear her. Ordered the pickle Detroit pizza, coconut shrimp salad, and the bechamel gnocchi. Pizza was good, but it needed more pickle. It honestly needed a homemade ranch drizzle or something. The menu said it had crema on it, but it was unidentifiable. Coconut shrimp salad seemed wilted and overly dressed. Coconut shrimp really didn't have much flavor. The best thing was the bechamel gnocchi on the kids menu! I didn't order any drinks but they did look good coming from the bar. Excellent drinks, food and atmosphere! We stopped in for a weekday dinner and drinks. We shared two large pizzas, spinach dip and a Caesar salad - which was PLENTY of food. The pizzas were delicious and fresh. The salad was good with tasty croutons and dressing. There were a good amount of people in there for a weekday, but we were able to have a nice seat by the window and our waitress was wonderful! The daisy tavern is newer and it's pretty good! They have a diverse menu and a good drink menu. The food was pretty decent and i enjoyed my burger. I honestly was not super impressed with the nuggets and I'd suggest something else if you're gonna get an app. The pizza on the menu looks delicious and i also wish i would have ordered that which means I'll have to be back. Pros: beautiful restaurant and bar; plenty of parking. Cons: The four of us sat in the back area of the restaurant. It was rather noisy, but not as bad as the bar area. None of us liked our meals because there were too many ingredients all mixed on the same plate. I had the pork chop which had a lot of different seasoning along with apples mixed in with the potatoes. It was a constant surprise as to what I was getting. My friend had the airline chicken and wasn't sure what she was eating in the sauce that it sat in. Our husbands had two different fish dishes. When asked if they would order them again, they both said no. The portions are small. My husband asked if they had bread and they literally bought him one piece of toast on a plate and charged $2 for it. The waitstaff was a bit haphazard, bringing our entrees over before clearing any appetizer dishes. When clearing our dinner plates, the waitress just put the bill on the table, never asking if we wanted dessert or additions drinks. It was a swing and a miss for them last night. I know they haven't been open for long and I really hope that it gets better because it a nice location and beautiful inside. read more

Excellent place in the burbs! Really loved their Dino nuggets. Cheesesteak eggrolls weren't my favorite, but they were good. Coconut shrimp salad was pretty good.
