Really happy to have found this place! My family loved our gyros. Soft fresh bread piled high with the best lamb gyro meat I've had in a long time. You could definitely tell that everything was homemade and well seasoned. We were also surprised by how good the fries were and they were dusted with really yummy Greek herbs. The atmosphere was lovely and we enjoyed the mural across the walls. We got to speak with the owner who was very kind and made the experience fun for us with music. Can't wait to go back next time we're in the area.

With all the good reviews, I was hoping to really enjoy this place. Unfortunately that was not my experience. I had been craving Greek food when I found this restaurant on GrubHub. It seems the stars aligned. I ordered the shrimp pita, the Greek fries, and baklava. Delivery Packaging: The packaging was nice. They use regular bags but ensure to staple them shut. I appreciate this with delivery The food: The Greek fries were very good. Crispy and flavorful on the outside and soft on the inside. I also I enjoyed their tzatziki sauce. Unfortunately they forgot to pack the baklava so I was unable to Try that. Now onto the not so good... overall the shrimp pita needs some rework. Typically medium to large shrimp are used in a Greek shrimp pita, however small shrimp were used in this one. Small shrimp are difficult cook to the right temperature and using smaller shrimp makes it difficult to taste against the rest of the ingredients (lettuce, onion, tomato). The shrimp were inedible, overcooked and rubbery, but the pita itself was delicious. I ended up taking out all the shrimp and added my own baked fish to the pita. Overall was not an enjoyable experience.

I was in the area and was recommended this spot from a local. Beautiful authentic Greek spot with amazing service workers and delicious foods. The restaurant is decked with all things Greek, very cute. Ordered a chicken kebab platter and chicken platter both were so filling and cooked perfectly. Lots of local folks ordering so it is definitely a community gem. Will be stopping in again when in the Fort Lauderdale area.

Stopped in for a quick lunch while out with an employee. We parked right in front of the shop. As we entered we were greeted. They had a good selection and prices were decent. I ordered the lamb gyro and my employee ordered the pork gyro. They were brought out to the table. I really enjoyed my gyro, the pita was the right texture, the meat was tasty. The fries were yummy! Best part was the owner coming to check on us several times. She made us feel welcomed at her shop and ensured we had a pleasant time.

Visiting from Boston. Stumbled across this gem in a cozy strip mall. We stopped in for dinner. Gyro sandwich, rice pilaf, chicken dinner platter, Greek salads were all delicious! Friendly service.

Amazing freshly prepared authentic Greek food! By far the best gyro around! It's worth the visit.

I am writing this review as I go through the dining experience. First impressions: It's in a strip mall. The place is counter order, but table service. Family operated, mom is working the counter. Dad is in the kitchen. Son(?) is working on the computer off to the side. I explained that we had read a good review and we here to check it out. Mom is a riot! Warm, engaging, lively. In between running food to patrons, she stops to make friends with my daughters. We ordered. BE WARNED: Wednesday's you get a free order of hummus and pita bread. THIS STUFF IS LIKE CRACK. Our order is still cooking and I had to go back to order a second one. The hummus is lovely. LOTS of garlic. Not too much... the hummus is noteworthy. Ok... food is here. Details to follow. 1. Cheeseburger and onion rings split between the girls. Nice half pound burger with lettuce, tomato, etc. It was a solid offering. The burger is good, but who orders the burger at a Greek joint??? Well, kids you know... 2. Greek salad: comes with a pita cut in sections, and a big side of tziki sauce. It was decent. 3. Gyro sandwich: the sandwich is BIG. Excellent quality. Definitely worth the drive and the price. 4. Gyro platter: Oops! Probably didn't need to order that Greek salad. About 1/2 a salad worth comes with the platter. Again, excellent quality and well worth the drive and price. We added some dessert... 5. Christina (we've met now, and become old friends already) makes the Baklava heeeelf in the back. It's very good. 6. The Greek donuts... Christina explained that they wait until we are about finished with the meal to drop them into the frier. Hot, crisp on the outside, chewy on the inside, topped with cinnamon and some honey liqueur. She was right... they steel the show. Oh, my god, they are so good. Along the walls of the place are photos in the form of a mural that depict the family's journey from immigrating to the US to the present at the restaurant. This place is just a heart warming, delightful restaurant that really does deliver a great plate of food, and at a great value. The family really just shines with their hospitality. In a time when no one wants to come to work, and those who do don't want to be there, this place is a real exception, a great value, and a delightful experience.

And then you walk into Falafel Gourmet and suddenly you're not in suburbia anymore -- you're in a little Middle Eastern oasis hiding in plain sight on State Road 7. First thing that hits you? That glass case of baklava. Not two sad trays. Not corner-store pastry vibes. A full shimmering lineup of honey-soaked, pistachio-loaded, syrup-dripping architecture. We started with several appetizers including spinach pies, falafel, and the Hommous sampler. The falafel was crisp and packed with flavor! I can't recommend the toum (garlic dip) enough. I would put this spread on anything! Another standout that we were all pleasantly surprised was their fries! These are the crispiest, most delicious side dish. Don't skip them. For dinner we had their moussaka and shish combo. The lamb, chicken, and kabobs were perfectly cooked- so flavorful and juicy! For dessert we had their bread pudding and Dubai chocolate brownie that came recommended from our waitress. Definitely enough to share and very decadent. Lastly, I want to compliment the service. Our drinks were always full, food came out altogether, and they took the time to explain various dishes and how they differ from the typical Mediterranean dishes. Several people said how good it was when they ate their last, , but had been a year or so since they had been there. Service was sporadic but they were all pleasant. The lentil soup was liked by one person and the other said it was the blandest soup she'd ever had. She put salt and finally the garlic sauce in the soup to declare it edible. She asked the server if it had changed and he said no, it was the same. We all got the chicken breast shish kabob lunch, and one got the sandwich. For me, the chicken was flavorful but a bit overcooked. I would suggest using boneless thighs or smaller piece of breast on lower heat. The rice has almonds in it but completely bland with no flavor. However what was the worst - the grilled vegetables were BURNT- see picture. The pepper were charred, squash dissolving from overcooking. It tasted like eating a piece of charcoal. There are way too many Mediterranean type restaurants in the area to have bad food - or frankly even try them again. I would not go back.

I asked if the kitchen was still open and she said " let me check" , she took a good minute to come back out. I was 100% thinking she would say yes because attached below are the times and it says kitchen closes at 9:45pm. She comes back out and says kitchens closed. I was very shocked and disappointed. I told her the website says restaurant closes at 10:00pm and the kitchen closes at 9:45pm. She responded by saying " those are hours when we are slow" . To be it just sounded like " Tonight the kitchen is lazy and wants to close earlier than what our website says". I don't see how a business can be successful if you close 25 mins before your business hours on the website and make some money from walking in patrons like myself. I would suggest the owner can tell yelp/google to adjust the times when the restaurant is slow they close earlier. Went to the pizzeria/Italian restaurant next door and it was great.

My friend and I came to Mora Grill for lunch and it was great! The waiter was super friendly,…read morehelpful, and attentive! The restaurant is clean, really nice atmosphere, and the food was so delicious! My friend is vegan and Mora Grill had tons of options for vegans and vegetarians which were marked on their menu making it perfect and easy for him to find a meal he can eat and enjoy. My other friends told us to come here because they love it and they were right! When we are in the area again, will definitely be returning!!
