If I could give 10 stars, I absolutely would! I've dined at Ethos numerous times, and every single visit has been consistently exceptional. The service, atmosphere, and quality of the food never disappoint. This review is based on two separate visits, and both were outstanding experiences. On our first visit, we stopped in on a Friday evening and were lucky enough to grab seats at the bar. We were immediately greeted by our bartender, Matthew, whose warm and friendly personality made us feel welcome right away. He took our drink and food order, offered excellent recommendations, and introduced us to their newly launched happy hour menu. My spouse and I were genuinely excited to see that they had finally added food options to happy hour. In the past, we often skipped coming during happy hour because there weren't any food offerings, so this was something we had been hoping for. For our second visit, we specifically returned to try the new happy hour menu. Thankfully, the bar wasn't too busy, and we were able to grab seats again. Although, after posting this review, I may regret letting everyone know about this hidden gem because the bar area is small and those seats are going to become even harder to get! This time, we were greeted by Stephen, who crafted some fantastic cocktails and walked us through his recommendations from the happy hour menu. We were also warmly welcomed by the manager, Peppa, whose genuine hospitality made our visit even more enjoyable. When we told her we came specifically to sample the new happy hour offerings, she shared some of her personal favorites, and every recommendation was spot on. We sampled several cocktails, including the Espresso Martini, Perfect Pear, Violeta, Guava Dream, Cucumber Twist, and Velvet Dynamite. While they were all excellent, our favorites were the Perfect Pear and the Velvet Dynamite. As for the food, the Greek Salad and Pita with Tzatziki are always must-orders for us. The Aegean Bites have also become one of our favorites. We tried both the Feta Saganaki and the Shrimp Saganaki--the feta was absolutely incredible, and the shrimp version was equally delicious for seafood lovers. The sliders were a generous portion, and my spouse thoroughly enjoyed them. My only minor criticism would be the chicken slider. The chicken had a loose, ground texture that wasn't my favorite. I think it would be even better with grilled chopped or diced chicken instead. It certainly wouldn't stop me from coming back, but it's the one item I'd probably skip next time. Needless to say, I absolutely love this restaurant, and I'm even more excited now that they offer what I think is one of the best happy hours around. The best Mediterranean style type of dishes around. Ethos Greek Bistro located in the Promenade is the place to go without traveling to Greece. It's an upscale restaurant that you can dine at for special occasions, with friends or family, with colleagues or even clients. It is always a super busy restaurant so you know the food is fresh. They do have a very good takeout business also. The portion size is very large, healthy and flavorful. I have been to this restaurant a few times and my favorite dish is the chicken platter. It comes with spinach, rice, rosemary, lemon potatoes, a side of tzatziki sauce, and a Greek salad. I love all of the sides that it comes with. Happy hour is offered daily until 6 o'clock and includes special prices on cocktails. I decided to dine with some clients and we ordered many delicious dishes. Everyone was happy with the dish that they ordered. We ordered grilled chicken platter, Gyro platter, Kefte platter, spinach pie, hummus with pita bread and seafood Paella. The interior has plenty of seating and they also have outdoor covered seating. The service was exceptional. I just had one of the best meals I've ever had at a Greek restaurant. They offer lunch specials as well as a full regular menu so being that it was lunchtime I ordered off the lunch menu. The platters come with lemon potatoes, spinach rice, pita bread, a small Greek salad and your choice of hummus or tzatziki sauce. I opted for the spanakopita which for those of you that don't know, is phyllo dough with layers of spinach and and feta cheese. The spanakopita was so delicious the phyllo dough was so light and flaky. The potatoes and spinach rice were so flavorful as well and the hummus and pita bread were mouthwatering. I had so much left to bring home and I can't wait to eat it! My friend ordered the Greek omelette and she really enjoyed it. For dessert I was given a complimentary piece of their chocolate cake that had layers of raspberry in it. Perfect ending to the meal. Service was great, very attentive and the restaurant was spotlessly clean, no dirty dishes were left on the tables which is one of my pet peeves. Soooo, sorry I took the pics after we started eating. The food here is delicious. It is the only Greek restaurant around that serves shrimp saganaki (sorry no picture). I had that in Greece and love the dish. My son had the falafel pita platter and I had the spanikopita platter. The platters came with greek salad, rice, potatoes, pita and taziki. Driving around came upon this lovely establishment. Wanted to order something to take home. The young lady at the entrance was able to take my order and get me a glass of water. I happen to love shrimp saganaki and they had it on their menu. Lots of people going in for lunch. When I got home the preparation was slightly different than other restaurants. This one had more of a soupy texture and 3 large shrimp. It tasted good but overall I was not impressed. read more

This was a mixed experience with some items being okay and others disappointing. When we arrived, the restaurant was crowded and it had a cramped feeling with tables close too close to each other and it just felt uncomfortable. We started off with a variety of dips and these were forgettable and I thought the dips lacked flavor. I had a Chicken entree which included two sides and I didn't care for either. The rice was doused in a cloying lemon sauce and the other side was not much better. However the Chicken was very good and often chicken in restaurants can be dry but this was moist with a nice subtle flavor. The food was absolutely amazing! Their menu was a little tricky to decipher as they have different lunch time and dinner menus, and happy hour and drinks, and specials. Luckily the waiter was very patient and answered many questions so we could get something delicious. The ambiance is cute and plain, but the music was very loud and it was difficult to speak to my lunch date. There is ample free parking on the street and in a parking lot. And they are right next door to a candy shop! Really great food although I would definitely recommend looking online before you go as there are just so many options. And luckily they will customize a lot of it for your food allergies or preferences. I chose this place to celebrate my birthday, and was not disappointed. I wasn't going to order an alcoholic drink, but then I tasted my friend's sangria and it was really good, so I just had to. I ordered the mini moussaka and it was really delicious. The restaurant is located in the Promenade shopping center, with other shops, bars, restaurants, and a movie theater to enjoy. There is both inside and outside seating at the restaurant and they would not take reservations. We were a party of 5 and we had to wait about 25 minutes for first available at 7pm on a Saturday night. Our server was really polite and attentive and our food came out quick. We ordered an appetizer and it came out about a minute before the entree. It would have been better if it came out earlier. This is not the first time I've been to this place and I have always enjoyed my meals. The prices are good also. Would definitely come here again. read more

I usually go to Ethos for a quick meal and stick with the Greek salad with chicken -- it's my favorite Greek salad and it's close to home. I met my mom for dinner today and was excited to see some new items on the menu. My mom loved her Bronzino Ethos platter. I decided to try the new tenderloin kebab. The presentation was beautiful and the flavor was decent, though it definitely needed more salt. I ordered it medium-rare, but it came out closer to blue -- very undercooked. I sent it back, and it took almost 15 minutes to return. When it did, it was still a bit under medium-rare (see photo after cooked an additional 15min +). Our server, Seraya, was very sweet and attentive -- my mom couldn't say enough nice things about her. However, there was a noticeable lack of management presence. No one checked in while I was waiting for the steak to be re-fired, and no one acknowledged the delay or the issue when it came back out. That was disappointing. I'm giving 3 stars because I usually enjoy my go-to salad, the space is welcoming (and dog-friendly, which I love for bringing my golden retriever), and our server was kind. But management should have been more present and proactive, especially when it took 15 minutes to correct a steak temperature with no acknowledgment. read more

Ethos is a spot I haven't been to in the longest time but we decided to give it another try after seeing how popular it is every time we visit the promenade. First off, they have a ton of outdoor as well as indoor seating and a bar. I have never been inside before and it is so nice!! It's elegant yet not too over the top. For appetizers we started with the spanakopita and the hummus with pita. The spanakopita was melt in your mouth delicious. It had all the flavors you would expect and it was great for sharing. The hummus and pita was also great. We paid an extra dollar for more pita so we could enjoy it even more as they don't give you nearly enough for the amount of hummus you are served. The hummus had a tomato undertone that made it taste rich and creamy unlike something you would get at a store. For entrees we ordered three platters which were the chicken, gyro and kefke. Of the three platters each came with rice with grape leaves intertwined, as well as potatoes, Greek salad, tzakiki sauce, pita, and the protein of choice. I loved all the sides as everyone brought a unique flavor that complemented the dish. I thought my favorite protein was the gyro meat, but the kefke really surprised me to how tender it was. The chicken was also as you would expect nice and grilled. The platters are BIG, and they definitely were a great choice on the menu. I gave them 4 stars, the food was good and the staff was polite. I only gave 4 stars because our bartender Sebastian was a good bartender as far as making drinks and putting in our orders. I also cut back on his tip because of this same reason. We noticed he offered to bag up the togo order of the 1st lady sitting next to us. Then my daughter asked for a Togo box he just gave it to her and walked away. Well 2 woman sat down next to us when she left and he also offered to box up their Togo orders as well. So why didn't you offer to box up our order also? I removed 1 star and only tip him 9% $10 also because of this. By the way we were the only black ones. Sat outside as it was a beautiful day and had some nice happy hour cocktails. I wasn't too hungry so for my meal I had the octopus appetizer and she had the lamb platter. The servers show such professionalism. They know their stuff and they do their job so very well. Kudos to the managers who run this place on such a great staff. My server George was amazing. He went over my entire order to make sure it was correct and broke down all the options I could've had with my food. The bus boy or table cleaner, who was there was such a gentleman he was also amazing, cleaning the table and bringing me refills like he was a server. Excellent way to work together. I ordered takeout. Initially I tried to order online but I wasn't able to so I went to order at the restaurant. It was about 6 pm and I placed my order on the outside with the hostess. It was quick and she was helpful. There were some customers waiting to be seated and the inside appeared to be getting crowded. It's located in Promenade at Coconut Creek and can get very busy, due to the location. This was my first time here but I had a preview of the menu before arriving. I only wanted protein so I ordered the Kefte, which is beef and lamb mixed and grilled. They offer a variety of Mediterranean food on their menu. The server took my name and number to alert me when my order was ready. The order was ready quickly and I was eager to eat. The meat looked delicious and came with a lemon wedge. I've been a customer here since they opened, and I've noticed their portions and quality are slipping. Most recently I ordered a chicken pita that had two strips of chicken in it... thin ones. I'm not even sure you could call it a chicken pita, as there was more lettuce and tzatziki then actual chicken..
