My partner and I were in town and stopped by here on the way back from a black Pride event. I love all of the restaurants on Wilton drive, this one was especially inviting because we love Greek food. We were seated immediately by a friendly hostess and our waiter was also very friendly! I ordered an espresso martini to start off with and my partner ordered a prickly pear craft cocktail. We sat outside so we could people watch where we ate. We were enjoying an early dinner. We both ordered the octopus (our fav). I also ordered a large Greek salad and she ordered a side Greek salad. Who ever is the manager here needs to know this! From the moment my friend and I got to the restaurant at the host table we were promptly seated and our waitress Melissa D. gave us a warm welcome. We asked about some items on the menu and Melissa seemed very knowledgeable of the menu and answered all of our questions. We were here to celebrate a friend's birthday. Note, use your gps to find this place. It's tucked deep into a strip mall on a busy street. I stopped nearby for directions! We had a great evening. The food was preordered and I think we had a bit of everything! A dip platter with the usual dips and lots of toasted pita. Stuffed grapeleaves (and they brought more when we asked). This time we went to the one in Fort Lauderdale. The other was in Wilton Manors. While both are nice, the one in Wilton Manors is more relaxed and in a more casual environment. The one in Ft Lauderdale is near a parking lot. There are numerous servers who were waiting for the evening rush. We went for Happy Hour at both locations. While HH appetizers are listed on the Wilton manors website, its not on Fort Lauderdale's. Staff couldn't have been nicer at both, but I think we will continue to go to Wilton Manors. Ethos IS my favorite Greek in Ft Lauderdale / Wilton Manors area. Everything about Ethos is first rate -- from the atmosphere to the food to the service. My favorite time to visit Ethos is for dinner, and I always start with some mezes -- they are all so tasty! In fact, you simply can't go wrong with any of them--the stuffed grape leaves, hummus, tzatziki, and creamy feta... gimme Ethos mezes any day of the week. Next up are the mains. And let me start by saying that Ethos' Greek Platters are fire! Oh, and the portion sizes on the platters are huge. I usually eat all of mine, but my friends often have food to take home for the next day! Some of my favorite Platters include the Bronzini Platter, the Kefte Saganaki Platter (my super all time favorite), and Shrimp Saganaki Platter. These giant platters come with the tastiest rice, lemon potatoes, Greek Salad, AND Tzatziki. HUGE, I say! By the way, if you don't know what Kefte is, it's a long-shaped meatball made of beef and lamb. The ones at Ethos are SO tender and tasty and, in the case of the Kefte Saganaki Platter, they are covered with a super tasty tomato sauce and Feta cheese! Get this dish! My second favorite time to visit Ethos is for brunch. Imagine all of the things I've talked about above partnered with eggs! Doh! Get the Philly Cheesesteak or Gyro Omelette -- both are yummy. Oh, and they offer an all-you-can-drink brunch cocktail option if you wanna get your brunch drink on! Speaking of drinks, Ethos has a full bar, and they can make just about any cocktail you want. And, of course, they have wine, too... which is only $6 a glass during their happy hour, which runs to about 6p on weekdays. The atmosphere at Ethos is also nice! Their main dining room opens to an outdoor area that spills into the sidewalk. If the weather's not too hot, stick to. outside. Otherwise, inside is just as inviting! Final thoughts = Ethos rules! Try this place out if you're in Wilton Manors for travel or if you live in the area. You'll be glad you did! read more

I enjoyed this place, even though I think I broke my knee. Those are not related. I was brought here for my birthday, and I really enjoyed the food and the service. Mostly I enjoyed the company, but this review is about the restaurant and not about my impeccable choice in friends. But I digress. The food was quite good and we had a great time here. I highly recommend this as a great place for dinner. On the way out, as I was heading to my car, I somehow tripped over the curb (no drinking was involved) and fell face down onto the street. Met a friend here for lunch and we had a really nice experience. It's a nice size restaurant with some seating on the outside however we chose to sit inside since it was a bit of a wait for an outside table. The restaurant was very busy with just about every table filled. Our server came over immediately and bought us the menu and some water right away. I ordered the grape leaves platter and my friend ordered the spanakopita (spinach pie) platter. All platters come with a Greek salad, spinach rice, lemon rosemary potatoes, pita bread, and your choice of tzatziki or hummus. I couldn't believe the amount of food that was on each of our plates! We both ended up taking half our meals home for dinner. I loved everything that was on my plate. My grape leaves had a lemon sauce on it which I've never had before and it was a nice addition and the flavors just really popped. The hummus was so creamy and flavorful. The only thing I didn't absolutely love was the pita bread. It was very good but it had some kind of herb in it and I personally just prefer plain pita bread so that the pita doesn't interfere with the flavors of the food itself. Our server was great, he kept our water glasses and iced tea glasses full and even offered me a to go cup of iced tea when we were finished with lunch. I just love the vibe. It's super relaxed and we love sitting in their outdoor seating area. My favorite food is Greek and Mediterranean cuisine. I have loved everything I've tried there. Some of my favorites are their hummus with their amazing warm pita. I have to try really hard not to fill up on it when we go. Their Greek Salad is also fantastic. I usually order the Ethos Platter with veggies, Greek salad, spinach rice, roasted potatoes, pita, and tzatziki sauce. It is so good! My mouth is watering just thinking about it. The meat is flavorful and the right type of thin (when it comes to gyro meat...IYKYK). I love that it comes with rice and potatoes. So filling and you can definitely split the platter for 2 days or 2 people! Their assortment of hummus' are delicious too, though I do love the feta spread. Let me start off by making it clear that this was some of THE BEST GREEK FOOD I have had in my life! It seems that Ethos has perfectly blended traditional Mediterranean flavors with modern fine dining. We loved it so much, we went to their sister location in Coconut Creek a few days later. The service from the moment we glanced at the menu outside was impeccable. Robert showed us to the bar while we waited for a table outside, and he was very prompt with clearing a table for us. We started with a cocktail, crafted by the awesome bartender working that evening (3/20). Sitting outside made this experience all the more enjoyable. Our server River had excellent recommendations and worked hard to make sure we had a wonderful evening. We ordered a bottle of wine (amazing wine list too!) and started with the dip sampler. Our favorites were the feta and tzatziki dips. The tzatziki in particular was worth a review itself: the refreshing cucumber body with the most satisfying hint of dill and lemon was perfectly balanced to say the least. The rest of our meal was equally delicious, particularly the zucchini croquets and the citrus crunch salad (first time trying manouri cheese and we fell in love!). Arlette was also so lovely to us the entire time, she brought some of our dishes out and had answers to all of our questions!
