I was surprised at the huge variety of sweet treats they had available here. The interior is brightly lit and there are a couple of tables to enjoy your desserts if you wish. One employee was very friendly and helped us out. We got two bars of Dubai chocolate. It was $15 for 1 and $25 for 2. So it costs a pretty penny, but it was very delicious. I would definitely revisit in the future to try more things from here.

I was nearby and wanted some Dubai chocolate and saw it was sold here. I bought one bar as well as the chocolate strawberries. You can definitely taste the pistachio more in the bar vs the strawberries. I wish it was a bit more crunchy. Decent if you're looking to try it but it is expensive, $15 for 1 bar or $25 for 2.

Hands down best deserts I've ever had. The Turkish coffee is incredible. The employees are so accommodating and kind. The selection can be overwhelming, but try everything. There's a great place to take pictures on the wall and the setting is adorable. The seating is cafe style and a great spot for a sweet treat. I'll definitely be coming back when I visit again. Dubai chocolate? Yes, please! Baklava that's not swimming in syrup? Absolutely! Turkish delight? You don't have to ask me twice! Turkish coffee? Why, don't mind if I do! Clean and friendly lounge to sit & enjoy heavenly sweets & coffe/tea/smoothie? I'm there! Did I mention that we've been coming here 2-3 times/per week?

I tried knafeh for the first time in the past year and immediately loved the delicious combination of cheese, nuts, and honey as well as the texture. When I saw it in a portable chocolate form I knew I had to find it! But this place actually specializes in more delicious treats - baklava! Loved all the variations and even got some that were served with warm - sooo good! Also, will say service was really great and helpful! The shop itself is also super cute!

Excellent customer service today. I didn't know what to get and the kind gentleman just picked a pound of random baklava for me to sample. I also came to try the viral Dubai chocolate bar! They only have the bar in milk or white chocolate. Dark chocolate wasn't an option. My son and I ate half of the chocolate bar before coming home. The different textures, pistachio butter and milk chocolate was a match made in heaven. It's the first time we tried the bar so we didn't know what to expect. My only regret was not buying more than one bar! The baklava was really sweet, but still delicious! I mean, what do you expect from the sugary treat! I would come back to try all their desserts. I didn't get a chance to try their cakes but the baklava and Dubai chocolate bar was worth the 30 minute drive!

This one of the best desserts place to check while you are here in San Diego. They have plenty of sweets selection to choose from. The place was so adorable and good to take a selfie lol! The Service staff was all friendly and nice. Just be careful because their desserts is too beauitiful to eat so you might end up staring on it! They have plenty of space to park!

I moved to El Cajon six years ago and since I moved my friends have been telling me about this place in El Cajon off of second Street. El Cajon is known for a city with a mixture of cultures specifically from the Middle East so it's typical to see a lot of Middle Eastern shops around the area. However, because they're so plentiful sometimes you just ignore your surroundings. But one of my friends whom is from Iraq, continued to tell me if I wanted to get the best baklava I need to go to Habibi Sweets! Well, he was very right. Not only baklava, but there was dozens of different types of sweets you can choose from. I couldn't really tell you what they are, but every bite was a new adventure from the baklava to the pistachio rosewater bundles of goodness! I bought a tray of mixed sweets because i wanted to experience different things. And every single thing I got was better than the other. If you're in the mood to discover a new culture and what comes with it then look no further Habibi Sweets. I felt the same way when I do to go to Mary's donuts or some sort of local donut shop that has dozens of different donuts. You better come here with an empty stomach because once you start trying one thing you'll try another another another and they'll be no stopping. I wish I wouldn't have waited six years to try them . And the person who worked there was very happy to service and explain different sweets. You also gave me free chocolate pistachio, which resembled and tasted like a pistachio KitKat awesome!

The options are unlimited! There are so many delicious desserts, from cakes to candies, chocolates to honey, and baked goods all around. The man helping us was so kind in helping us decide what to take home, I took home a small box of a variety of sweets to try. They have the viral Dubai chocolate pistachio bar. Nuff said! It was nicely refrigerated to ensure I could take pictures of it when I got home. I had them for my wedding! They served baklava and some other desserts as well as their Turkish coffee! It was a big hit! My entire family loved it! Their station is also super cute and fun for guest since they make their coffee on hot sand. Also, can't forget, it's super delicious, the most important thing haha! My friends and I went on a mission to find the famous Dubai chocolate after seeing all the TikTok hype, and we're so glad we found this spot! After calling a bunch of places, this was the one that was open--and I'm so happy it was. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. The Dubai chocolate lived up to the buzz as it rich and delicious! They also had a great selection of other pastries, and everything I tried was really good. One standout for me was the white rose petal dessert. It didn't have an overpowering floral taste, and the white part was super chewy, which I absolutely loved. If you're hunting for the Dubai chocolate or Turkish delights, this is definitely the place to go! It's about $14 for a pound and you can mix and match. The chocolates are 1 for $15 or 2 for $25. First time coming here. All the sweets and dessert offerings looked beautiful! Came here originally try the Dubai chocolate which was really good! The filling is really the best part! We got in around 7 PM and we wanted to try one of those mango cake cakes. Also, I never asked the price and it was $12 for one piece which I think is a little too much and to tell you the truth I would never get it again. It tasted very old and not even creamy. It just didn't taste right. Also, we got a pound of the cookies as you can see with the pictures and also they were not fresh. They were hard as rock. I won't be back. What doesn't make sense is that so many people write such great reviews about it and it taste so bad all of it. read more

Came here with my husband for something sweet 2 times each time was an amazing experience first time I wanted to try the Dubai chocolate it's huge you just need one! But it was delicious. They gave us a sample of their cream cheese baklava it was soooooooo delicious warm I can't even explain it lol! The man who served us is amazing! He was so nice and helpful the second time the lovely young lady who assisted us was also amazing so nice, adorable and very helpful. The place is comfortable to hang out in was a little busy when we went but a MUST if you like baklava or have been wanting to try it do it they have an huge selection! read more

This place is GOLD. My best friend and I came in to try out one of the viral pistachio chocolate bars. But left with much more. This cute little café is decorated so nicely and is very clean! It has an elegant ambience. we immediately started looking at all of the goodies they had in the display cases and were greeted with a smile. They answered a ton of questions and we ordered some baklava, a Chocomil, and Oreo milkshake as well as the pistachio chocolate bars. While we waited they gave us a warm and fresh piece of baklava on the house. Not only that but there was some extra leftover from the milkshake and they gave us it in a separate cup! Beyond the free treats, their customer service, taste, and atmosphere is definitely worth the return. read more

It was my first time here and they immediately made me a forever customer! I had ordered a whole tray of treats and a Turkish coffee. The place was fairly consistently busy and at one point, there was only one server working and the line was looong. Needless to say, my Turkish coffee had been forgotten. I was waiting for the line to be short to check in about my coffee but the server (I did not get his name) saw me and instantly remembered and apologized for the long wait (it was long, but I was relaxing and reading). Next thing I know, my coffee is being delivered with a smaller serving platter with several different ADDITIONAL treats to try by the manager? Owner? He also got me a water! These are definitely people who care about people and about their business. I'll go back without question. This is a great place with great sweets. Their store hours, however, are incorrect. I wanted to pick up some treats for my office on my way to work, so I arrived at 9:50 a.m., but the shop opens at 10 a.m. The gentlemen inside told me they'd be open and I could wait outside, which I had no problem with, but I waited until 10:20 a.m. and they were still closed. So, my recommendation to anyone visiting this place is not to show up early in the morning, as their hours aren't correct. I have no problem with the establishment, otherwise great folks-- just bad communication, and I wanted to share my feedback. In the morning, stop by the other sweet shops around if you're on your way to work. read more

This place is magic. Mike and Xena were amazing from the moment we walked in the door. I went for the Dubai chocolate and ended up with a plethora of sweet deliciousness. Upon arrival, I was treated to a warm treat when I walked in the door, and when I said they made my day (as it was my birthday) I was told to wait a moment, and the next thing I knew, Mike brought out a mini cake with a candle and he had his entire staff come sing happy birthday to me. They made me feel like family from the moment I arrived in their shop. Can you imagine if all businesses treated their customers like this? Oh, and the treats? Outstanding! Delectable. Me and the wife came here trying a new spot we got a big Dubai bar, slice of vanilla pistachio cake and a strawberry cup, my wife and I are disappointed due to the fact that we have traveled around the world and my wife is Turkish, the pistachio filling, spread or cream is not like the authentic flavors from what we have tried, it's taste to much process over sweet and not like homemade and we dislike the concept of this Dubai desserts being made the wrong way and the chocolate bar is like the one we order at the Dubai cafe in downtown San Diego to much chocolate and very little pistachio filling that taste to sweet. read more

I wish I took pics while I was here (but you can see them online) the MOST BEAUTIFUL desserts I've ever seen! $15 for a candy bar is a little steep, but they are delicious and they are so pretty they make a great gift! I've only tried the Dubai candy bar, but hey have other traditional desserts like baklava and kunafa. read more

Fairly priced delicacies. Came here for the hyped Dubai chocolate. Reminds me of Crunch chocolates with pistachio flare. The server was ok. She did not really smile nor greeted us as we entered the vacinity. My thing is, if I initiate saying "hi, how are you?" As a consumer, there's definitely something wrong with that. The ambiance is good. Typical dessert place. Would go back again but not anytime soon. read more

In the past the baklava has been very good. Today, the baklava tastes good, but I found 2 shards of pistachio shell in one piece. I also decided to try the Dubai chocolate which was good (more pistachio than kunafa than I personally prefer). So far I've had 1/3 of the chocolate bar and have found 2 more pieces of pistachio shell. I'm worried for what awaits in the pound of pistachio baklava I have left and the rest of the Dubai chocolate. Am I going to come out of this with all my teeth intact? I'm wondering if it's because they are so busy for Easter weekend....if in the rush something went awry. read more

I'm actually surprised reading these good reviews about the Dubai chocolate bar. My husband and I just tried it and it's just chocolate flavored candy coating filled with pistachio cream! The filling seems authentic enough, but the chocolate is NOT real chocolate. I'm appalled I just paid $25 for 2 bars of candy coating. I'm super disappointed and feeling scammed! read more

Dubai chocolate bars are sold here! This is the viral chocolate bar that is filled with pistachio cream and crispy knafeh. It's made with milk chocolate which makes it pretty sweet. I would prefer dark chocolate to mellow out the sweetness but I'm glad I got to try it. Since El Cajon is so hot they keep the chocolate refrigerated so it's nice and cool when you buy it. read more

I tried the Baklava Cheesecake, and wow--it was one of the best cheesecakes I've ever had. The combination of creamy cheesecake and the rich, sweet flavors of baklava was incredible. My taste buds were in heaven! I also picked up some mini baklava pieces, and they were just as delicious--fresh, flaky, and packed with flavor. To top it all off, I ordered a caramel latte, and it was amazing. The coffee was smooth, flavorful, and paired perfectly with the desserts. The customer service was excellent, and everyone was friendly and welcoming. If you're in the neighborhood, do yourself a favor and stop by. You definitely won't be disappointed. When reading the reviews the only negative you're going to see is "wait time". If you know take out, you know ways around this "negative". We weren't hungry enough to get anything for ourselves, but I appreciated how the guy at the counter asked if we wanted anything drizzled on top. We chose almond butter (and silently prayed our friend didn't have a nut allergy ). Turns out, that was the best choice because she said the almonds were her favorite part. Now we're definitely curious and will have to come back to try the bowls for ourselves next time!

I also strongly feel like this cake may have been purchased from Vons and displayed in their showcase as their own product for resale. Previously, their cakes had a unique and distinct flavor, but this time there was nothing special about it at all. Very disappointing experience. I would not recommend it, and I no longer trust the quality.

The pesto spread was good though. It was creamy and the artisan bread it was served had great variety. Ambiance: 5/5 This place is such super cute. When you walk in, the desserts all look super appetizing. The seating areas are super cute and the floral decor are stunning. Service: 5/5 It is an order then sit down establishment. There is great attention to their dessert. I saw them heat up a knife just to cleanly cut the cake. The food service however did take some time to come out.

They come up some really creative flavors that you just don't find anywhere else. All of their ice cream is gluten free. Even the waffle cones are gluten free as well. The workers are very pleasant and happy to let you sample the various flavors. I chose the Minky which is a blend of pineapple and coconut. I got my order in a cup which turned out to be a mistake. Both my wife and son got their orders on a cone and it seemed like they got a lot more ice cream than I did even though we all ordered the same size. I apologize for not including pictures but we had our ice cream in the car and in the heat we experienced, I don't believe the pictures would have done the ice cream justice. Very cool concept naming the shop after the business that preceded it. I may need to find a real dry cleaner after spilling drops of melted goodness on my shirt. Be warned that parking can be a real challenge in this area. If Friday at 2 PM was a pain, I imagine Saturday and Sunday must be atrocious.

Staff is SO friendly and patient, explaining all the flavors and what not. The menu is slightly confusing because it's not clear that the top names like "loafer" or "merino" are the flavors and the ingredients are listed below. But the workers were super kind enough to explain and offer samples. I ordered a cone with the Loafer and Ripstop flavor, it was a big cone and they FILL that thing up! You really get a lot of ice cream and they don't skimp. For $9, it's well worth the quantity alone. The cone itself is probably one of the best, if not "the" best waffle cone I've ever had. It was still warm, crispy, fresh, and had an amazing vanilla aroma and flavor. The two flavors were amazing on there own but here's why I just can't give a five star review. As great as the flavors are, they are pretty unique and out-of-ordinary for ice cream shops, so they don't pair too well together. I had initially also tried the merino and that was way too strong to balance with another flavor so I thought the Loafer and Ripstop (which the employee compared to a rocky road) would pair better. The merino has saffron and honeycomb which are pretty distinct flavors and stand out in the ice cream itself without even being paired with another flavor. So that just overpowered the ripstop. HOWEVER - both ice creams had tremendous flavor and they were so stretchy and creamy. The Merino was almost floral while the ripstop was hearty and had big pieces of brownie and marshmallow. Overall, a solidly amazing ice cream place I would happily return to.

As first time visitors, it takes so long because the staff is really nice and they let you try samples of their rotating daily flavors before you decide. I opted for a basic mix of vanilla & chocolate in the Junior size, with sprinkles and Reese's PB cup crumbs. Super awesome that they fill 3 layers of the toppings so you get a little something each time. It does freeze pretty well so if you don't eat it all it can last you a few days. A little bit of parking out front in the shopping area. No shade while you wait but others brought umbrellas. Lots of seats inside too. There was a bathroom but it was located in their staff area and you needed to be let in.
