I have curtain bangs and asked her to do a trim on them but I barely wanted anything taken off of them, a small dusting. She chopped across my bangs with a straight razor and took 2 inches off of them. They look TERRIBLE! I could tell she was freaked out that she just messed up. I told her nicely it was not what I just asked for and that I barely wanted anything off just to get the little fried bits off. As a beauty professional it is her responsibility to listen to the client and their needs/wants. I was still nice and told her that "it's okay we're all humans and all make mistakes and what's done in done and it'll be okay." I even apologized a little later for being so quiet cause I was a little nervous. She told me she was the queen of color in this town and can absolutely make my hair a honey brown. I brought in 5 pictures to show her what I wanted which would have only been maybe a shade or two darker than I already was. During the coloring process she asked at LEAST a dozen times to look at the pictures again. Not only did she ROYALY mess up my bangs, but she did not even remotely get the color looking close to what I asked for. It's a very dark brown with purple which I told her I didn't want it looking purple at the very beginning. She doesn't even finish drying my hair before she tells me "that I can go dry my hair myself and that she knew from the second I walked in that I was going to be a waste of her time and should have known from the moment I called that I was going to be a complete waste of time." I told her calmly that she is the professional and that if anything this was a complete waste of MY time, on my birthday to come in when she obviously has no idea what she is doing. She then told me that "maybe you have a fucking problem." DO NOT go to this woman! you will immediate REGRET it. She has NO couth and clearly has NO IDEA what she is doing professionally and should 100% have her business shut down. I was also left with hair dye all over my face, neck AND clothes!

Unfortunately I did not have a positive experience with the stylist or the end result of my hair. The majority of the time I was getting my hair done it was silent, at least from my stylist. It was really awkward. I tried asking her a couple of questions to get at least some sort of conversation going but her answers were short. I did end up hearing about a personal issue she's having and a couple other personal details, all of which made the experience even more awkward. She and the other stylists talked about how lazy one of their partners was, lamented about being "broke", and talked poorly of a customer who'd left a message asking about an appointment. Regarding the haircut/style, I asked for a couple inches taken off of my hair and said I wanted to keep most of the length. My hair was LONG. I showed her a photo of the style I wanted, to which she responded with how my hair was too thick. I pointed out that it was the length of layers I was referring to. She asked if she could cut it dry and straighten it so that it would be even and I hesitated (verbally) explaining that my hair is wavy and I don't normally straighten it. I expressed that I was worried that it would look even shorter after I wash it because I don't wear it straight and I wanted to keep length. She assured me it would be fine. As soon as she made the first cut in the back I knew it was too short because I could feel it. Again, my hair was long. But at that point it was too late so I just tried to make the best of the situation but given that the "chair side manner" was lacking it felt like torture. And now I have hair that barely hits my shoulders, despite the her saying "a couple inches BELOW the shoulders, right?" If you have curly or wavy hair, I definitely wouldn't recommend this place because that needs to be taken into consideration by a stylist when cutting it. If you have straight hair or wear yours straight it might be fine, but don't expect any interaction from your stylist.

After scheduling 2 hair cuts several months in advance, the person who was to cut my had to cancel…read morethe first one, she called and I asked her to please keep the other one which was on a Friday at 4:15 the 14 of August. I showed up on the 14th only to find the hair salon closed and no one there. I received no information about this the cancellation of this appointment before hand and I had scheduled it on April 22. I was very disappointed especially because at the time she had to cancel the June 26th appointment I did confirmed she would keep the next one on August 14.
