We ordered 4 chicken bowls. Nice flavors with a bit of a Mediterranean touch. One of the sauces was on the spicy side. Reminded me of indian food. I would say it is a Mediterranean cuisine with a touch of indian taste. Overall good place for a quick sumptuous meal

    Lunch to go!

Wow, where have I been? I'd heard good things about The Halal Guys but never took a chance until recently. Needing lunch while prepping for a recent event during a rainy day, I opted for a local delivery service. When scrolling through the options I came upon The Halal Guys and thought it a perfect lunch option for the day. What a great choice. Being a newbie I didn't know what the popular items were and decided to go with the braised lamb gyro, a lychee tea and some extra red sauce. When my food arrived, I was so pleased with the careful packaging that secured my bag/drink for a tamper-proof delivery. My gyro came with a hugeee package of white sauce along with my spicy red sauce. I dove right into my gyro and WOW. Wow, wow, wow. The flavor of that lamb slapped me right in my face. It was so incredibly flavorful, almosttt too much, but believe me, I'd do it again ten times over. The white sauce was a traditional tzatziki-esque sauce that was delicious on the gyro. The red sauce was just as spicy as advertised omg. I love a good kick and when I saw the label I was like, "yeah right". Don't be like me, lol. I've had hotter, but it had an after kick but it was SO delicious and I'll need it with each order. I was sitting in front of a window and feel like someone was sitting their car watching me tear into that gyro, omg. I don't even care, I'd do it again. So if you see me face first in a gyro, please keep walking and go get your own!

We picked up late dinner and the food was delicious. It was an easy and fast pickup service so didn't wait long. The platter and the sandwich were made well to our description. The staff were really polite and gave their recommendations as well. The ambiance with lively Indian music made me feel like home

I'm a rabid shawarma/doner kebab eater. When I moved away from the coast I had a big Halal Guys-shaped hole in my heart. And they are just as good in Atlanta as in Cali. For those who don't know, this place started as a food cart in NYC before going country wide. You want to get the gyro or gyro and chicken plate. Load it up with as much of that sumptuous white sauce as you can stomach, it's what makes the meal. The red sauce is very very spicy, don't overdo it or you might miss out! I recommend on the side and gradual! This location also does some really tasty blended drinks and has great baklava for after!

    Combo Rice Bowl (4/5)

Miss New York City and the food adventures. Halal Guys is a staple in NYC and has expanded its halal presence to Houston, Vegas, and also Atlanta. It won't have the 'hole in the wall' / street food experience that you will see but the quality and taste sure is consistent. We ordered two combo rice bowls for take-out. Ordered - Combo Rice Bowl of Gyro/Chicken (4/5). Tasty. It is very heavy in taste and portions especially if you opt in with the secret white sauce. Spicy is good but I choose to substitute the flaming hot red sauce with Siracha. Everything was so tasty when stirred and definitely brought back memories. If you're looking to satisfy your crave for Halal food then this is the place to be!

Very basic chicken & rice bowl. I was expecting more flavor. More of "something" that I just did not get. So I probably won't be returning anytime soon.

    Chicken & Falafel Rice Bowl

I ordered the Chicken and Falafel combo rice bowl. The Chicken lacked flavor but overall, I enjoyed my dinner. Items are reasonably priced for the portion. Love the white sauce, and the hot sauce will definitely have you scrambling for some water.

Just OK for a halal guys. 1. The food isn't piping hot like it is in the streets of NYC. 2. They ran out of tomatoes and had nothing else to replace it with. Consistent things: 1. Hot sauce always good 2. White sauce always amazing All stores seem to be pretty generous with them, this particular store included. This store: Included with platter onions, peppers, olives People are sassy but kind

There was indoor and outdoor seating and we chose to sit outside as it was a beautiful night. We had amazing service, great food, in a really cute neighborhood. We were especially impressed with the staff, and we had a member come out more than once to check with one of the people dining with us who had food allergies to ensure that how they were offering the food would be safe for her. It was also impressive that this restaurant was so busy on a Monday night. There were three of us dining, and we didn't even order any of the meats, and there was plenty of food for us. From the Mazzes, we had the Omani Shrimp, which had a great dipping sauce and the Beet Carpaccio. (they were very accommodating and put the whipped feta on the side). For the Spreads, we did the hummus with mushroom, shisito and egg, which was amazing and the labneh with pickled fennel on the top. It's served with taftoun bread which I would describe as a mix of a cracker and pita with sesame on top. We also enjoyed a raw vegetable dish with radish and the most delicious apple slices. Their heirloom tomato salad was beautifully presented and plentiful. They had a flight of condiments and we were able to sample zhoug, spicy tahina and torshi, which was a mixture of pickled vegetables. We ended with a pistachio lava cake with the most delicious cardamon gelato. Overall, we had an amazing meal in their beautiful outdoor space, and we thought the food was really reasonably priced. There's something for everyone on this menu whether you're vegetarian, vegan or a meat eater.

We were greeted by smiles and a welcoming team at the host table and I quickly appreciated the Mediterranean charm of the restaurant -- I felt like I could have been in Rick's Cafe Americain or the Blue Parrot! The dim lighting offered a great blend of intimacy and privacy, while still letting me see the people at my table and the food! And the food! My goodness, the food! We had a wonderful sampling of shared appetizers. The hummus and Dill labneh were solid and would have been deemed more than worthy by my Lebanese grandmother! Olives were a revelation, and were done in a preparation that included pomegranate which paired really well with the brine of the olives! The star of the first round, however, was the whole cauliflower, roasted and spiced. Without reservation, I can say it is the most I have ever enjoyed cauliflower - and I shall return for it again! I was already full by the time my falafel arrived for my main course. Falafel was exactly as it was supposed to be, and it was good. I ate it all, and then, a la Violet Beauregard upon leaving the chocolate factory, had to be rolled out of the restaurant! Our server and his food runners were all gems! The manager also came by to chat with us a couple of times. Great people at Delbar!

Once seated you're gifted a complimentary starter Sabzi Plate that includes fresh herbs, feta cheese, walnuts, Castelvetrano olives, crunchy radish, and premium walnuts.
