This is becoming a go-to lunch spot for me in Midtown. Good food, good portions & a surprising, decently priced lunch special for this area. Something like $8.99 for a Greek gyro & fries (both huge portions). If only the drink were included for a dollar more (haha). That said about the drink, they have good, brewed iced tea for less than $3, which keeps me coming back. I even split the meal this week, taking half back to get a 2nd day out of the deal! Service has been quick - an order at counter deal - but pretty much fill your drink & they're calling your name. I enjoyed my food. I'm not sure what the special is. The sign outside said loaded fries were on special but it didn't have a price. I paid $9.99 for the loaded fries. They were good, but I wish I had known the price ahead of time. The location is in the middle of downtown and the street is currently blocked off due to construction. 3.5 stars. This is one of the better restaurants in the midtown district right next to Georgia Tech. My cousin comes here often so he got us here for a late lunch. The service is quick. Seating present outside and inside. I particularly enjoyed their spanakopita, dolmades and the falafel. The gyro plate was ok. Solid 3.5 stars. The location is very conveniently located in the GA tech campus, has indoor seating and a lot of outdoor seating, and the service was extremely fast! The workers there were also incredibly nice. The restaurant was empty around 11 AM on a Saturday, so it was quiet and nice to eat a quick meal. The food itself was fine. I will never stand for Gyro Bros hate! This Gyro Bros is so fast and consistent! Is it the most amazing gyros ever? No, but I mean the quality to price ratio here is on par. I mean a full meal for less than $13? You can't beat that in Midtown. We ordered at the counter and our order was ready within a few mins. There are plenty of tables outside and a few stools inside, but don't recommend eating in as it does smell like greasy food imo. We did got a bit later in the night so that impacted food quality vs the other times I've been for lunch. The amount of gyro meat they give you is a great amount for the price! I did find the meat to be a bit dry, but as they were closing within 30 mins I guess it makes some sense. The fries are always so yums as a fry lover. Came here 2 weeks ago on a Wednesday afternoon for lunch with my bf and sat outside. I ordered their Veggie Pita lunch combo w/fries, and it was delicious. I asked for tzatiki instead of hummus (because I'm allergic), and it was very good! Only downside is that I was comparing it the gyro spot in my town (Think Grill in Union, NJ) and it didn't live up to its' expectations. The gyro was smaller and less stuffed with the things that matter like olives feta tzatiki sauce and more stuffed with lettuce. It was still yummy, and I loved their fries. Literally so good. The fries are delicious and fresh (reminds me of 5 guys fries but small business delicious). Owners are Atlanta locals I think, Danny (the guy that I usually see there) is there so often and takes really great care of all customers. He's a sweetheart honestly don't let his size scare you off. Gyro meat is great. It's got lots of flavor. I think they make their own tatziki--it's literally so good. Possibly the beat tatziki you can find outside of Greece. P.s. they have bay watch on the tv all the time. I think it's stuck on that channel or they really like the show. Not sure. Right across the street from The Georgia tech hotel I've never been in here but I always want to try out another Greek joint. Walking in your greeted well and they have a $7.00 special outside with a Gyro and fries or salad and drink for $7.00 which is my kind of deal, beside after starving at A Taste of Atlanta we were hungry. They charge extra for feta on the salad (I didn't ask for it, the guy mentioned I could have feta with it for an extra charge). First of all, this is a Greek place - what's Greek food without Feta? The salad itself was lackluster and the dressing wasn't great. It was rather oily with little taste. The gyro meat itself was pretty good, but the gyro toppings didn't seem all that fresh. Also - I had this mysterious yellow butter-like spread on the side of my foam to-go box? It rubbed onto my dress while walking, and it left a stain. This place is decent at best. We wanted a fast sandwich to take to our tailgate, so we ended up at Gyro King. The regular gyros are made with lamb. We ordered 2 combos, one with salad and one with fries. I meant to only order 3 more sandwiches, but something about how I explained 5 total sandwiches came out as 2 combos and 5 sandwiches... The gyros were really good. The meat was thick and flavorful, and didn't appear to be the pre-cut strips that many places have. The pita was a little on the tough side. The tzatziki was pretty good, but I didn't get enough of it to really notice the flavor as much as it was a cooling sauce on the hot meat. Lettuce, tomatoes, and onion standard. The fries were a little more browned than I like, but they held up decently well to the steam of the to-go container. We weren't given any silverware for the salad in the to go box, and I forgot to grab it, so while the salad ingredients looked fresh, I can't attest to the flavor. The combo was $5.99, and it was a good amount of food for $5.99. The gyro, when taken from the metal wrapper, lettuce and tomatoes removed, reheated fairly well in the microwave, so the extra sandwiches didn't go to waste. This was a pleasant surprise. I needed to grab a fast bite before a local hackathon. Gyro Brothers provided a nice, quick meal that wasn't too big. I had a Philly Gyro. All the cheese had travelled to the bottom of the gyro, but it was still good. (There's nothing wrong with a cheese finish.) The meat was thick. The pita / bread was soft and delicious.
