Chili's is hard to find around me. This time I ordered from their new kiosks....and it didn't even print my receipt out, but whatever my order was in on the screen. None of hte workers knew what to do about the machine and lack of a receipt but it didn't bother my order. This location also has a new tv screen with order status based on the platform you ordered from. Helpful. We got the usual, a couple of #2 combos. One of them I got one sandiwch mild and the other spicy but both of them tasted mild or something...it had zero heat at all. Funny thing is, the color of the sandwiches looked normal from all of my many previous orders, but flavor wise, they tasted the same. Weird. Still enjoyed them. The mozzarella sticks - I ordered a 5 pack. I can tell you size wise, they are very similar to the Chili's sticks. The crunch on these from Dave's was crunchier IMHO. However, the cheese is packed less densely here vs Chilis. The cheese pull is just as good on this first try, despite less cheese inside. When I ordered the 5 pack, it allowed only ONE spice level option. I wish I could've gotten some medium and some spicy etc. Not very sharing friendly. The staff was super friendly as usual. No problem getting my order and extra sauce packets etc. The place continues to look clean and well maintained. This location and framingham are my 2 fave locations for Dave's.

I think I waited 10 minutes to be served. I think the thing to do is call in your order rather than waiting for the chicken tenders to be prepared. They have high ceilings with lots of windows so the place is really bright. There is plenty of of seating. The shape of the restaurant is such that there is seating separated from the main dining area so there is more seating than meats the eye. I would return.

    Jahunger - Mee fen

I'm so glad Uyghur cuisine has made its way to Boston…read more I was first introduced to it years ago at Silk Road in Cambridge, and I've been hoping more Uyghur restaurants would open ever since. Jahunger truly delivers. The restaurant immediately sets the mood. Candlelight, the scent of incense, traditional instruments on the walls, and pothos plants growing from mounted glass jars all make the space feel warm and inviting. One warning: unless you arrive around 6 p.m. or earlier, expect a wait. (It's popular.) Oh, and the food is worth it. The leek and egg dumplings tasted homemade in the best way: slightly rustic, fresh, and delicious. The hand-pulled noodles are the stars. Every noodle dish we ordered had the perfect chewy texture. My favorite was the Laghman noodles, though the Jahunger noodles were a close second with their rich spices and satisfying heat. The mee fen and stir-fried green beans both packed a respectable kick and leaned a little salty, but not enough to keep me from happily polishing them off. Don't forget the tea! It's beautiful to look at, filled with all sorts of ingredients (Chinese jujubes!), and only lightly sweet, which I appreciated. Then came the showstopping honey cake. The cake itself was fluffy, while the filling had a firmer, almost sticky texture with deep caramelized flavors that reminded me of burnt caramel in the best possible way. Paired with what tasted like coffee ice cream, it was the perfect ending to the meal. Jahunger is one of those restaurants that makes you want to come back before you've even paid the bill. I'm so glad Jahunger made it to Cambridge; the Boston food scene is richer because it's here.

We came in and the restaurant was filled with younger people who were hanging out. To start off we ordered lamb dumplings and scallion pancakes. I was familiar with both of these appetizers and they were the same as anywhere else. To eat, we ordered chicken stew. The waitress told us that one stew was spicy and the other was non spicy. We decided to order the non-spicy one since others were not big fans of spice. When we received the food it was very spicy. It was hard to eat and we did not enjoy it. The waitress came back and thought we wanted the spicy chicken stew which was incorrect. She apologized and wanted to switch it. At this point we were running late so it didn't matter. We just packed it and gave it to our family member who likes spice. This place was okay. I will have to come back here and give it another chance.

This was our second time ordering delivery from Seoul Topokki. We remembered it being really good…read morethe first time, so we went for round two. We ordered the cheese topokki (soft rice cake, fish cake, vegetable, & mozzarella in Korean spicy sauce) & the beef bulgogi bowl (fried marinated beef, vegetables, steamed rice & side of soup). The cheese topokki was just as good as we remembered - chewy, flavorful, comforting, & a little bit weird. The cheese was poorly distributed, but it was still very tasty. The beef bulgogi bowl was really underwhelming. Firstly, it was very little food. We were promised vegetables, but there were only a few scarce onions & zucchini pieces mixed in. It was also dry. It was devoid of moisture & sauce, so we added some from the fridge at home. The side of soup was a joke. It filled only about 2/3 of the container & looked so sad, we wondered if it was the sauce that we we so desperately needed. Nope, just a meager amount of watered down miso soup. So the conclusion - great topokki, sub-par bulgogi, non-existent soup.

For the food, we got the tuna kimbap, Seoul toppoki, and bulgogi hot pot for two. Everything was SO good. The ingredients were fresh and the food was flavorful (sweet from the bulgogi, savory from the mushrooms, spicy from the toppoki sauce, salty from the tuna, and sour from the pickled vegetables). The price for the portion size was a great value and we ended the night feeling very full and even had to pack up an entire container of the hotpot for two that we didn't finish. Overall, we had a great time and I can't wait to come back again. This might be my new favorite Korean food spot in the Boston area.

In House Cafe - Apple Cinnamon Pancakes

Where do I even begin? In house Cafe is a stunning bustling restaurant, with beautiful decoration…read morethroughout the entire establishment. Arriving around 11-12 on a Saturday, my friends and I reserved a table at In House Cafe and received quick and efficient service from kind and informative servers. It's nice to note that the uniforms are also adorable and punchy. The food itself was absolutely phenomenal and my friends and I, despite ordering a VAST array of delicious items from pizza to pancakes, all agreed that the food was delicious and well worth the trip! The apple Cinnamon Pancakes were nearly to die for, warm and delicious, the batter seemed homemade, and honestly gets a solid 10/10. The same goes for my drink of choice, the iced caramel latte with oat milk. The bacon and eggs were as you'd expect and well executed. The Shakshuka was good and smelled amazing, but my only note would be that an addition of salt or a slight edge to the dish would bring it over the top- My friend who initially ordered the dish says that an addition of Feta cheese will do the trick, as she ordered a side of it to go on top. For my personal taste it was a 7.5/10. The pizza was a great serving size for 1-2 people in one sitting, or could easily be stretched out into multiple meals if needed. The fresh tasting vegetables brought the dish together, and the meal was happily enjoyed. and a pro tip; if you have leftovers i'd recommend reheating in an air-fryer for perfect crispy crust 9/10 The chocolate strawberry latte exceeded my expectations, as I am not a usual fan of chocolate strawberries, but this drink was a very pleasant surprise. It wasn't overly sweet or artificially flavored, and I couldn't help but ask my friend for a few sips throughout the meal. The bathrooms were VERY clean and VERY well maintained, and the restaurant is just a very quick walk away from the bus stop. Accessible by car but parking may be hard to find, so be aware if you choose to go by car. I would go back to boston soley for those pancakes! ONE thing I will note is that for three people our order came out to a bit over $100. You can feel free to interpret that as you so choose. I will say I was somewhat surprised, but NOT regretful! I'd still go back for the pancakes ‍

The service is always spot on, even when they get busy during the weekend brunch rush. (You should count on needing a reservation at those times.) Of course, none of that would matter if the food wasn't also excellent! We always order banana caramel pecan french toast for the group to share. The french toast on its own is custardy and delicious (unlike some places that just feel like dry bread), but the roasted bananas along with the buttery caramel and pecans take it to the next level. The fries are also the platonic ideal of a french fry that always surprise us: crispy, not greasy, and well seasoned, while still having a fluffy center. I often get the shakshuka or the aleppo-style eggs for my main, which are both delicious, veggie-forward, and filling. But the hidden gem is the oatmeal, which is packed with fruit, perfectly cooked, and creamy as can be. Since the food is halal, there are no pork products, and as a lover of regular bacon, I can say with confidence the beef bacon will surprise you with how similar it is! My vegetarian friends also love the variety of the options, and the meat eaters are always satisfied.
