I have driven by this spot 1000 times and wanted healthier, more dinner style takeout. Delicious! I ordered the lamb kebab, the chicken patties and the salmon all over salad -- for three of us-- plus spinach pie, baba ghanoush and grape leaves. I loved my food. I can only eat fresh hummus. I am fan of this restaurant and we visit it often. Whenever we crave kebabs, this is where we go. The sides that come with every meal are also great! The bread is fluffy and the hummus is lovely. The ambiance and service are good too. The place is always packed when we visit. We recently tried their lamb chops and grilled salmon. Both were well seasoned, perfectly grilled and the meat was juicy on the inside. They let you substitute the side that comes with the meal with grilled vegetables, which I like, at no extra cost. If you like a good kebab, this is the place to go. They have other items on the menu that look delicious too. You should give this place a try. read more

Boston Kebab is worth a long drive, a long line, the bustling full parking lot. It is worth it despite all of those things. Recently we got the 4 item daily special plate. It came with a show cooked beef, beef stew, spicy lamb and teriyaki chicken. Also bread with yogurt and a small salad. I did not think to take a picture because we were so excited to eat the food. And it was fantastic. Absolutely fantastic. They also have a full regular menu, a giant dessert case and ice cream. And complimentary Turkish tea at the water station!!! The restaurant is very pretty and nice. It is counter service, but they will bring your meal to your seat. The one uncomfortable thing is the hustle and bustle in the front of the dining room, so we chose a table and figured out what we wanted there before going to the counter. They do have order kiosks, but neither of them were working when we were there last. I cannot wait until we can go again. read more

Came here for a quick lunch with my family on a Saturday, I think they newly renovated the interior so it's super bright and clean. There are a ton of delicious options, and free hot tea available! They had a bunch of kiosks available to order with, but we ordered with the person and they helped us pick some delicious dishes. Everything came out really quickly to our table. I consider hummus a good litmus test for any middle eastern restaurant. Not only was their hummus on par, but the freshly baked pita was a special treat. And did I mention it was complimentary? They also offer a free tea bar. Two in our party had the doner kabob salad. Excellent! I had the steak kabob. It was tasty, but the meat was chewy. The baklava was very good. You know how sometimes places get lazy with their layering and there's a while big layer of nuts in the middle of a "bun" of phyllo? Well, here they do it right with many alternating layers of nuts and phyllo. Ordered with roasted vegetables which looked nice, but seemed 'heirloom' type and were hard to chew, slightly bitter, and also too little seasoning. Portions are huge and delicious. I've got a lahmacun as an app, and the doner platter. You can see the freshly made doner in the background, all made with meat and no ground beef fillers. It was clearly marinated well in advance. One of the most delicious doners i've ever had. They bring out a generous portion of mezes and flatbread, on the house. Hot tea is also on the house, you just grab it fountain style. My only request: please do not use iceberg lettuce for the "greens" that comes with lahmacun, and mix onions + fresh parsley. An extra few lemon wedges would also be appreciated. They have outdoor seating as well as indoor. Staff is friendly, and genuinely nice. Place is clean. It's not close to me, but we will definitely be back, many times! This restaurant is apparently owned by the same person who was running the Boston Kebab House in Boston, near Post Office Sq. I used to go there a lot when I worked in Downtown Boston, and they closed around the pandemic. Love the outdoor seatings here. The food is good overall, I'm sorry I'm very picky about Turkish food especially after my trips to western Istanbul. The people are alright here. Tea is complimentary which is nice. They have guidelines how to make your tea. I would not get any baklava here. We tried all types. Having said that, definitely get KUNAFAH! Just ordered today but I had to come write a five star review because the food was awesome! The only thing I got was the 4 specials with salad and rice for $21 and it was amazing! The portion size was generous, good enough to feed 2 people. The specials differ by day but today I selected the -roasted eggplant with beef (awesome) - chicken kofte with potato (tender potatoes and great seasoning) -some sort of tender beef (excellent and amazing!) -beef stew (this was my least favorite but still very good) -brown rice: seasoned very well and delicious The side salad was lightly seasoned with olive oil and lemon. I ordered takeout from Boston Kebab and was mixed about it. The chicken kofta was ok-my daughter wasn't crazy about the texture while liking the flavor. The salad under the chicken itself became soggy and had to be discarded. The side of rice was fine. The moussaka was fair. The salads did not come with any dressing which was odd. I used some of the moussaka sauce as dressing and it was fine. For takeout ordered through their website, there is a convenience fee, which I find annoying. The pastries and daily specials looked delicious. If I decide to return, perhaps I'll try those. I'm not going to go out of my way to come here though. We ordered several dishes on Wednesday July 9 2025 to go. There were problems with several. The Beef kabobs were tough. The Spinach Pie Entree was pictured with a feta salad. There was no feta salad and the spinach pie was completely inedible. There phyllo dough soggy beyond redemption and the spinach terrifically under seasoned.I had to scrape the phyllo dough off the spinach and season with salt and pepper to eat it. Love this unassuming Turkish restaurant slightly away from Waltham's food scene on Moody St. I drove by here accidentally due to street construction. Decided to stop in. I have been here twice so far in the last few months. I had their lamb kabobs the first time. It was delicious. Plentiful. I love the "free" hummus as a starter. For the second time, I had a beef stew. Candidly, I didn't like it as much. Too chewy and slightly greasy for me. Unbelievable! I NEED to come here many times to try EVERYTHING! It was very crowded due to Ramadan, but it felt like a party atmosphere, and everyone was in a good mood. Event though it was crowded, the staff was efficient and doing their best. We had tzatziki to start, served with pita, and a bowl of red lentil soup. Then I had the vegetarian bowl, which came with greens, salads, hummus, grape leaves, and falafel. It was so excellent. My dinner partner had a tandoori chicken kebab bowl. We watched platers after platers of food go by, and everything looked and smelled amazing. It was so much food, we couldn't finish and ended taking some home for tomorrow. The most disappointing part is that I didn't have any room left for dessert. If I didn't already have plans, I would go back and try another meal tomorrow. And the next day and the next. Huge platters, authentically ethnic and a real value add to the community. Replaced the old Demos and is a solid step up, great service and when you walk in everyone knows each other. We ordered the Manti and the gyro sandwich as well as the meze plate. The meze plate was actually pretty good. Came with a delicious bread as well as hummus and 2 yogurt- like appetizer and eggplant kinda like sauce. They also brought a small salad with it even though on the menu it says for one person it was pretty filling for two people. I would give it an eight out of 10. The sandwich had four layers of kebab in it and came with fries, which was pretty delicious, but there was nothing else in the sandwich, which was disappointing The Manti however, was really not good. It was kinda like beef dumplings, but they had put a lot of yogurt sauce on it and the fact that yogurt was very cold kinda like ruined the whole thing so it was so not delicious. Also, when you wanna order or even when you wanna get a box, you have to go to the cashier yourself, which was a little bit inconvenient. One of the good things was that you can get tea for free in their beautiful glass cups, which was pretty good (Sorry for any dictation or grammar problem Siri typed the whole thing .) A friend of mine asked me to lunch and wanted to go the Boston Kebab. I have been a few times before but only for takeout. From the last time I went the menu has seen a complete overhaul. The place was very clean and the open kitchen allows you views of the staff preparing your meal. The meal comes with hummus and cooked pita. I am not a huge hummus fan, but this stuff was amazing. I would come back just to eat the hummus. The menu board had pictures of many of the dishes and one looked like pizza, so I had to try it. The crust was great, the cheese was fine but the chopped beef wasn't for me. The chicken shish sandwich was really good. The house sauce that comes on the said made it even better. They should sell the sauce by the gallon. It was tough to eat because I unwrapped it to try and get a good picture. The fries were ok, need to order them well done. All in all it was a good experience and they have definitely upgraded the menu since they first opened. Can't wait to go back and try some of the other dishes. read more

I've been coming to Demo's Waltham & Watertown for decades. I was passing through the area I grew up and was saddened to see the Waltham restaurant was no longer a Demo's and was under new ownership The good news is that their food is better. Higher quality ingredients and more complex/yummy flavors. They kept the original Demos menu and added many other Mediterranean items to the menu. Same interior, dinner served to you at the tables.
