Had the pleasure of having lunch here and I highly recommend this place! Our service was a bit slow but we found out it was our servers very first day and she didn't have any training period. We were a group of 9 with children and 3 separate checks and she got everything correct. The owner is a real sweetheart also! Out of a lots of meals you order, unable to bring main course out at once for all guests (they brought out my meal and my husband was watching me eating, then they brought his meal 10 min later, and I was watching him eating since I finished with mine), extremely poor restaurant ethics, greasy low mediocre food. When owner asked if we are satisfied I brought up these issues and she just walked away. Very poor restaurant service with ordinary low mediocre food. We will not be back. :( read more

We ate there yesterday afternoon and I would definately NOT recommend this place. We started with an appetizer of loaded fries, took over 45 minutes to get the order and that was after asking our waitress twice about the order. We had 3 burgers, 2 appetizers, 3 glasses of iced tea and our check was $89. None of the orders came out correctly, had to ask for lettuce, tomatoe, and onions, for one burger that showed on the menu to come with all of that. Then had to ask twice for mayonnaise and ketchup, one burger was brought out without the onion rings that were ordered with it and we were told the onion rings would be right out....we got those when I asked about them as we were asking for to go boxes. The place was dead we ordered drinks and the bartender had to ask someone else how to make my wife drink. Her blended drink was all ice no liquid. I ordered a draft beer and it came out in a can. The time to take our order took some time but decided on two meals red fin with shrimp and wife ordered some kind of pasta with shrimp. It took forever for the food to come out, both meals shrimp reeked and taste was awful. We send both orders back. I would not recommend this place to no one. read more

This was either one of the worst nights for this restaurant or I'm one of the unluckiest people in the world.... First I found someone's pre-chewed steak in my root beer, then we were served cold under cooked broccoli as well as the mashed potatoes... Then I was given a butter knife to cut my steak? At least we were almost finished with our meal when they decided that hearing ourselves chew was a much better idea than the music that was playing that abruptly ended. No no no no no!!!! My wife and i will never go back. We were hoping this place would have been sooooo much better than Nicol's. Wrong. We pulled up and the parking lot was packed. We thought, "it has to be good". We went in to the hostess. She said it would be 10-15 minutes to be seated. We waited. People that came in after us were seated before us. At 6:15 our my name and another name was called. Weeeeeeeeell, right in front of everybody, the hostess asked us if we could sit at a table this this other couple. They put us on the spot but i didn't have a problem saying "no". Not ideal for a date night for either couple. They took the other couple and seated them even though we were there before them. 5 minutes later, we were seated. I looked around the room and there were a lot of people with their jackets on holding menus. It was cold in the back room and no staff were around (see photo). We sat for 15 minutes before a waitress came and asked us for our drinks. She didn't have a smile or a name. She didn't introduce herself. We ordered the fried green tomatos. Another 15 minutes went by before she came and took our order. 10 minutes went by and my salad came out before the appetizer. Another lady came walking around and asked if we had ordered steaks. I don't think they knew which table ordered them. I told her "no". 5 minutes later our appetizer finally arrived. Then a third lady walked over and put steaks in front of my wife and i. I told her tr they weren't ours. She picked them up and went table to table asking everybody again. The steaks belonged to the table next to us and they dropped them off there. The guy ate his steak but the woman did not. Either something was wrong with or she didn't want to eat it after being placed in front of us. She had the waitress remive it from tgeir bill. At the hour mark, still no food. At the hour and fifteen mark, still no food. Finally, i got up to tell the hostess that we were leaving because again there were no staff members around. Great for basics. We ordered sandwiches that were difficult for anyone to mess up. Tasted fine. Super empty inside which isn't the restaurant's fault but definitely made the experience feel strange. Love the idea of a Navy-themed restaurant since we're a military family, but definitely could be updated to reflect current personnel. read more

We always like trying out new places and the military theme had us excited to stop in. It was cool to see all of the patches and memorabilia but that is where the excitement stopped. We ate at the Sunday brunch. Y wife had the shrimp plate with home fries and I had an omelet withe home fries. We had 2 sodas and an app of pretzel bites and cheese. The bill was over $60. I understand inflation but that is ridiculous and criminal. Needless to say we will never return to this place. There are much netter places in the area with better food and better pricing. Since everyone has to stay away from others and everything is pretty much closed and no one can go anywhere due to the coronavirus, The Hangar has a drive-in movie weekend and it was so much fun! The service was a solid 11/10 and the food was really good! We got a performance from Chloe Channell and me and my husband got 2 free shirts because we just got married. they even made an announcement to everyone that we just got married and everything was just so great. we will definitely be going back! read more

We're staying in Milton for the weekend and The Hanger caught our eye so we decided to try it out. We loved the theme and decor of the restaurant. My husband and I both ordered the sirloin steak. Unfortunately, it wasn't anything spectacular. It was very tough but did have decent flavor. The sides we had were a salad, mashed potatoes, and fries and we had no complaints with any of that. Our waitress, Brianna, was absolutely amazing. She was very attentive to our needs and had the sweetest personality. Don't go. The workers are nice but not well trained, they don't speak with confidence to us or about the food. The food is over priced for average quality. I expected more for the price! Go to Dickey's if you want brisket or pulled pork and sides with flavor for a fair price! The manager came to visit our table twice which seemed a bit overkill but fitting since we were like 1/10 families there. We enjoyed our Mac and cheese and the fries were ok but our brisket and pulled pork sandwiches were not flavorful and tasted too much like a crock pot meal vs a nice smockey bbq. I only ate 1/2 of mine and my husband didnt want to eat his either but did. The decor was fun but a tad random in its lack of cohesion. We won't be back. The atmosphere is great but the service and food are not. The place wasn't crowded when we arrived but the waitress seemed very confused. She brought out the wrong drink and gave it to someone else then gave it to me when they told her they ordered tea. I thought that was fine but that was also just the beginning. I ordered the black and bleu cheeseburger with Mac and cheese $13.99 ($1 up-charge for Mac) and even though it wasn't crowded, it took 45 minutes for my food to come out. It looked amazing but wasn't even the slightest bit warm, it was room temperature/ borderline cold and there was little to no seasoning and it was just a waste. The Mac was probably good when it was warm but I'll never know. $20 after tip but I could have had a better and cheaper experience at a drive thru. We will not be returning. read more

Same friendly owners. New name. Updated decor. Revised menu. Our waitress took her time to take our simple drink order and took forever to bring them. She disappeared quite often. This in itself is why the 3 star rating. We tried the chicken pot pie. It was very good. Spouse enjoyed the creamed corn. Broccoli was not hot and had to go back. You are a pork lover, you'll do fine, but if you dont partake, you dont get to chow on the greens or green beans. If we go back, we'll go for dinner and ask for the best waitress there, Dakota. This was our first time. The kids loved the theme. We really liked the prime rib, jalapeno corn, Caesar salad, and bread pudding. The mac and cheese and au gratin potatoes weren't that great though.
