Best Oxtails in STL AREA! Do not hesitate to come through! Yes there may be sometimes long waits but for good reason!

Since I was told to go to KFC to get chicken Ill post my review here. As stated on Google they do have great food if you can get it. I've been here twice back to back and they did not have a main item on their menu, chicken. Per the owner they are not a chain and they can choose to have what they want Instead of accepting the critique and being products being ready when your business opens, you respond ignorantly to your customer when you failed today. Pros: large portion, excellent flavor, delicious rum punch Cons: EXTREMELY slow service. It took my party an hour to be seated and another hour to receive food. We ordered as soon as we sat down. The restaurant was also out of 70% of food items on the menu. The place is only open for 5 hours so I was confused on why there isn't enough food to last 5 hours of service. This restaurant is my absolute favorite in Belleville with absolutely no other restaurants coming anywhere close. The food is always delicious and the staff is very nice. Once a month this restaurant gives away free food to the community with no strings attached. The brown stewed chicken is my go to order, but the oxtail is also pretty tasty. I usually get my food to go, but I do know that they have happy hours and other events at this restaurant. It is so close by, that I do try to go often. read more

Service was good. I came for jerk chicken and oxtails but they didn't have any for the third time visiting. I did try the salmon and it was delicious. I was disappointed in the cabbage, as it was cold and old. The telephone number listed does not work if you're checking to see if they are open or out of things. Tried this place for a second time and was purely disappointed. Rice was mushy and over seasoned, jerk wings were so spicy to the point of not even edible to eat. They didn't have hardly anything offered on the menu, no corn on the cob, no mash potatoes, no jerk patties, and only had jerk wings. Safe to say, I will not be given them a third try. read more
