    Greek salad Hummus trio
    Jessica Q.

We had a lovely experience dining in this beautiful restaurant. Felt just like visiting a friend, everything was decorated with home touches and the artwork was gorgeous. The food was delicious, fresh and warm! We ordered a Greek salad and the hummus trio, everything came out in good timing and was tasty and light. Will gladly return, Denise our server was super kind and very helpful. She made the experience extra wonderful.

Local restaurant, delicious fresh food. Had the Athenian and Greek rice. Large portion with fresh vegetables, reasonably priced.

Tasty Greek food and excellent service. The gyros salad was loaded with hero meat and the tziki sauce was very good.

The restaurant itself is super cute, fun, and has a great atmosphere. Unfortunately, the ice cream wasn't for me. It was overloaded with toppings to the point that I could barely taste the ice cream itself. I love a good balance between the ice cream and the mix-ins, and this just felt like there was way too much going on. The toppings completely overpowered the flavor of the ice cream. We decided to give Johnny Ray's another shot and came back to try the food. Sadly, I wasn't impressed. For the price, I honestly felt like I could have made a better meal at home. Nothing stood out, and it just wasn't worth the money in my opinion. I really wanted to like this place because it's such a fun, inviting spot, but after giving it two separate chances, we've decided we won't be returning for either the food or the desserts. I hate leaving negative reviews, but I also believe in giving an honest account of my experience.

Even with the place packed she was getting drinks, delivering food, getting tickets out and checking up on people with very little wait. The food came out relatively quickly, and was a good size order of burger and fries. The burger reminds me of when I was able to get a good roadside burger, I believe the only thing that was missing was a pie display. The front window says they have a car show on the 3rd Saturday of the Month. A car show with the burger shack would make a great way stop spend a Saturday!!

We really enjoyed the atmosphere. Bartenders were friendly. The chefs/food runners were cool as well. The patio was nice to sit out on and over look the pond out back. The food was really good too! I'd recommend the shrimp po boy and brussel sprouts. We'll definitely be back

I'm left wondering... were we in…read morea parallel universe or something‽‽‽ We stopped in after an appointment I'd had on a Monday in Lees Summit. We decided to have a quick early dinner here in town, and did a Yelp search for "great places to eat near me". This place was high in the list. We read the reviews and found ourselves driving around a building that had ZERO markings for the Burn Theory Fire Kitchen on it, but our Maps app said we were here. Turned out, the food for Burn Theory Fire Kitchen was cooked in a food truck in a parking lot and served inside the Diametric Brewing Company which is located at the address listed for Burn Theory Fire Kitchen. I will say, my husband ordered a special beer called "Cherry Street Wheat" and it was very unusual, and seriously tasty!!! I'm not a beer fan, but would drink one of these any day! So, getting back to the food... we'd both ordered a trio of street tacos that we did a mix and match of with their various proteins. We ordered this way to share with each other. We also love to discover new and unusual bites. After reading the reviews and their menu, we were excited for the promise of something uniquely delicious... and were completely disappointed!!! All but one (excluding the shrimp) of the six different tacos we'd ordered, bordered on the inedible side. The proteins were seemingly overcooked, folded into little leathery tortilla shells, and served to our table cold, dry and tough. They tasted as if they had been reheated from the weekends leftovers. Maybe we came on the wrong day. Perhaps if we'd visited on a weekend, or on the same day they were actually cooking the meats initially, we'd had a better experience. I don't know, and frankly do not plan to find out. Additionally, to be fair, their condiments (ie: the Ketchup and BBQ sauce) seemed to be made fresh and made from scratch. They were sadly the best part of our meal. Honorable mention to the Diametric Brewing Company which served us one of the most delicious and unique beers we've ever tasted!

Most of my orders have been curbside pickup since it's right around the corner from my house, and the process has always been quick and seamless. Let me tell you about the Great Salmon Caper Sandwich. A soft, pillowy brioche bun, flaky grilled salmon, fresh lettuce, tomato, and onion, topped with a creamy, tangy aioli. It is quite literally one of the best salmon sandwiches I've ever had. When I say I'll never get sick of this sandwich, I mean it. It's a genuine 10/10 and one of the main reasons I keep coming back. The Cluckers are also excellent and come with an absurd amount of food. My only complaint is that the chicken pieces can sometimes be so large that the chicken-to-breading ratio feels a little off. Other than that, they're fantastic. The breading is seasoned perfectly, the chicken is juicy, and the price is extremely affordable for the portion size. The homemade honey mustard is also some of the best I've ever had and is easily my favorite dipping sauce on the menu. Wally's is one of those places that never disappoints. Fast service, affordable prices, generous portions, and consistently great food make it an easy recommendation.

It was good, however I think the wrap was missing the avocado ranch dressing so once I asked for that on the side, it really made it. Sweet potato fries with honey mustard always hit the spot.
