Parking/check in was a fairly smooth process, The women at the check-in stand were very pleasant and knowledgeable about the event and provided some clear easy to follow directions. The property is quite spacious and similar to Lavender Waves Farm and Nashoba Valley Winery. The property is set up into different sections which allows them to host various events such as lavender picking, unicorn/butterfly experiences, weddings, and they even have an Airbnb on the property. I attended the butterfly expierence but due the heat the butterflies weren't as active. I still found enjoyment in roaming the property and visiting the gift shop. Due to the direct exposure to the sun on the property, I would definitely recommend a hat during your visit. I would be interested in visiting the farm again during peak lavender bloom season. overall, visiting the farm was a good experience and I would definitely recommend it to others as events become available to the public.

From day one, Lauryn Mattson was by our side and guiding us through the entire wedding planning process. Every question, concern or request was handled with care and consideration. It was unbelievably easy to work with the Harrington team! We truly felt prepared for our big day; we met with Lauryn at least 4 times before the wedding which really put my anxieties at ease. We knew our options, we knew how the ceremony was going to go, and we knew we could rely on Lauryn and the Harrington staff. The food was delicious and fresh. I've received so many compliments about how amazing the food was! Our package included a wide selection of station boards, appetizers, dinner options, and even desserts! My guest raved about the coffee bar and how friendly the wait staff was. I personally feel that the packages are extremely generous given the price of it all. After speaking with some recently married friends, we learned that we got more for a fraction of the price they were paying. Its history and upkeep would alone be something to write home about, but the grounds are lovely - particularly about 200 feet behind the home, where it is, as Frost said, "lovely, dark and deep" - and this place has some history! Many famous American orators of the 19th century came through the Asa Waters Mansion including Thoreau, Emerson and Gough. It is a must-visit location in Millbury.
