    Lavender fields

Went with low expectations, walked away from the understated Lavender Festival pleasantly surprised. What's better than a beer(Seven Saws Brewing) and barbecue before 11 a.m? Any husband or father being dragged along against his will can delight in that scenario! Nice local craft offerings and pyo lavender all day long! Central mass hospitality at its finest.

I was a bit disappointed after driving so long to this sold out event to witness an underwhelming amount of lavender. On the map provided, there were two designated areas to see lavenders grow... one area was covered in a black tarp (to be grown later?) and the other area was barely growing or drying. I understand that plant growth can't be controlled, but maybe save people time/money by informing them that the flowers weren't in completely there? The 3 stars given are for: 1 - the friendly staff 2 - the weather that day 3 - the amount of lavender flowers you can buy there... come to think of it, maybe they should've harvested less of the flower... Overall, I will most likely never come back to this event.

We went to the farm to take our photos on our wedding day. Amy was really easy to work with and the farm was a beautiful spot for photos and videos! Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a nice spot for photos.

Lavender field that cost $10 per person and 45 minute wait for shuttle to view.

Lavender fest was a complete disappointment. After arriving at 11AM, I was told that I needed to drive 2 miles to the high school and then shuttle over. Only VIP cars can park on site. We drove to the Wachusett High School and then waited in line for 45 minutes for a shuttle bus to the farm. We arrived at 12. The lavender was mostly dead. There were two goats, a couple horses, and $10 pony rides. Then there were a bunch of vendors selling over-priced organic soap and similar items. I cannot believe that I paid money for this event and wasted so much time coming out here. We ended up spending more time waiting for the shuttle bus than we did at the "sold-out" lavender fest. Many other people there were complaining about how much of a let-down the whole experience was.

It's everything we wanted in a venue and the sunset view is the cherry on top. One of the many wonderful things about Harrington Farm is no matter what time of year it is, it's a gorgeous venue inside and out. The Harrington Farm staff gave us the wedding of our dreams. From day one, Lauryn Mattson was by our side and guiding us through the entire wedding planning process. Every question, concern or request was handled with care and consideration. It was unbelievably easy to work with the Harrington team! We truly felt prepared for our big day; we met with Lauryn at least 4 times before the wedding which really put my anxieties at ease. We knew our options, we knew how the ceremony was going to go, and we knew we could rely on Lauryn and the Harrington staff. The food was delicious and fresh. I've received so many compliments about how amazing the food was! Our package included a wide selection of station boards, appetizers, dinner options, and even desserts! My guest raved about the coffee bar and how friendly the wait staff was. I personally feel that the packages are extremely generous given the price of it all. After speaking with some recently married friends, we learned that we got more for a fraction of the price they were paying. Not just a desirable location but we were also able to have our ceremony and reception in the same place! All in all, incredible staff, beautiful venue, delicious food, and a truly wonderful experience. Thank you Harrington Farm! We will never stop saying great things about this venue!

The farm has animals, fresh produce, live music, BBQ food truck, and The Haven food counter. The Haven offers made to order breakfast sandwiches, Haven potato patties, smash burgers, hot dogs, ice cream treats, soft drinks, plus beer, wine, and cocktails. There are ample picnic tables and wooden chairs spread out around the farm. I decided to order some food at The Haven, while there was a live music performance at the nearby barn. I ordered the Single Patty Smash Burger ($7 plus tax) and The Loaded (Potato) Patties (2) ($11 plus tax) at the counter. My food was brought out to me in stages when things were ready. The Smash Burger came out first, which was a well done grilled beef patty topped with lettuce, tomato, raw onion, and a zesty sauce on a soft grilled burger bun. This burger was a bit messy to eat, but pretty good. Next, one Loaded (Potato) Patty arrived since I was told the second loaded patty didn't come out the proper way and they would bring it out. The second patty arrived 7 minutes later with apologies for the wait. The fried potato patties are similar to latkes, topped with sour cream, bacon & cheese, which were very tasty. I enjoyed some of the live music performance as I ate my food. Overall, this food stand at East View Farm offered tasty food at a fair price. I would've gotten ice cream too, if I was still hungry.

It's a cute…read morespot, but heed this warning, if the manager or whoever Kim is supposed to be is still in charge, she will treat you with the most lack of hospitality. After the outdoor ceremony the family was taking photos by the alter. A few guests made our way back to the barn for some waters as it was a warm day. We sat on the patio outside waiting for the rest of the guests and Kim came outside and exclaimed "there's a table of hors d'oeuvres inside that's going to be thrown away in a half hour if nobody eats it." First of all, incredibly rude to say to guests waiting. Second, how could you be so wasteful for something you've already been paid for? We then walked ourselves back across the field to now inform the bride and groom their food was going to be thrown away if nobody went to eat it. My cousin had her reusable water bottle taken away from her because "no outside drinks were allowed." Even though it was 85 degrees in the middle of July, and the didn't set the water out for people to get themselves. You had to go to the bar, where they then served you the smallest cup of water possible. When people made their way inside, the food was consumed, cold meatballs that seemed to have sat out the entire duration of the ceremony cold. Not just the half hour duration of cocktail hour the guests missed. Plates and cups were cleared literally immediately, DURING each phase of eating. Which was incredibly wasteful for guests not being able to reuse their plates. Wait until the end of the "meal" (cocktail hour, dinner, dessert) to collect items. Or place a trash for people to dispose of when they're ready. In any case, once dinner was served (buffet style) each individual tray had its own server. Kim, watched over the shoulder of the gentlemen slicing the prime rib. You were only alloted one thin slice of meat, and when asked for a second, Kim literally said no to guests, to which the poor gentleman slicing exclaimed, "but we have a whole second one out back.." Nope. Food rationed like it's a famine. Then the dessert table was set out, and my brother went up to get a cookie and once again was yelled at by Kim. To review the food, I would give a 3 for quality. The vegetables were okay, typical for serving in bulk. The chicken marsala was edible, the fish was gamey, and the prime rib was grisley. The dessert bar was cookies, ice cream, waffles, and toppings. You were not able to scoop your own ice cream, and the scoop used by rhe server was about the size of the table spoon, so that's all you were allowed. It's the only picture I bothered to take because it was just comical at this point. The manner in which guests were treated was so incredibly poor I cannot recommend enough that people steer clear of this place unless she is no longer there. All the other staff members were incredibly sweet and just trying to do what they're told, so I do not pin this review on them. The lack of hospitality from Kim was embarrassing to anyone who serves in that industry. Venue: 5/5 - cute, quaint, spacious for gatherings under 100 guests Food taste: 2/5 Food portioning: 0/5
